Yu Zi Yu, as a Divine Tree himself, was naturally familiar with the aura of his own kind.

More importantly, this Divine Tree seemed different from ordinary Divine Trees. In fact, it was even giving Yu Zi Yu a faint sense of pressure.

“The Sacred Tree of the Buddhist Sect… the Bodhi Sacred Tree,” recalling the legendary tree of the Buddhist Sect, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but murmur.

This Sacred Tree was renowned far and wide.

Legend has it that if anyone sat beneath it, they would experience a dramatic increase in their wisdom, allowing one to see through everything in the world.

Furthermore, there were even rumors that the Supreme Being of Buddhist Sect had stepped into that unspeakable realm only by borrowing the Bodhi Sacred Tree’s enlightenment, and thus, achieving nirvana, and finally becoming a True Buddha who exists eternally in the world.

With such stories, one could easily imagine how terrifying this Sacred Tree truly was.

And now… the Master of Buddhist Sect had brought him directly to the place where the Bodhi Sacred Tree had taken root?

Yu Zi Yu was momentarily stunned, but more than that, he felt a joy he could hardly put into words.

“The Buddhist Sect is really treating me quite generously.”

With a huge smile on his lips, he followed the Master of the Buddhist Sect to an island in the Sea of Bitterness.

On this island lay a vast lake, and at the very center of the lake, Yu Zi Yu finally saw the Bodhi Sacred Tree blotting out the sky.

It was called a Sacred Tree, not a Divine Tree because its aura brought a sense of tranquility to the world.

Its entire body was golden, including its leaves and trunk…

Even just rooted there motionlessly, it brought a sense of tranquility to the heart.

Just then, as though sensing something, the distant Bodhi Sacred Tree gently swayed its branches.

*Boooom…* A Buddhist light surged from him, sweeping toward Yu Zi Yu and even Demi-Buddha beside him.

And in the very next moment…

The wind stopped blowing…

The clouds stopped moving…

The entire world itself seemed to have sunk into silence.

Only Yu Zi Yu’s eyes flickered uncontrollably, a brilliant light surging within them.

This was the light of wisdom, because at this moment, Yu Zi Yu’s thoughts had become exceptionally clear.

Countless things he once found difficult to grasp were suddenly laid bare.

Abilities he had struggled to fully master, now flowed smoothly through him in an instant.

It was truly terrifying… and awe-inspiring.

Slowly lifting his gaze, Yu Zi Yu stared at the Sacred Tree before him. Its branches swaying playfully like an innocent child, and for once, a ripple of shock crossed his expression.

“This is the power of Bodhi, which enlightens the mind and grants wisdom, and can even aid in cultivation…” The Master of the Buddhist Sect offered a rare explanation. He too was shocked.

Because this was the first time the Bodhi Sacred Tree had ever proactively granted its blessing.

Even he had never received such a favor.

[This Demon Emperor truly has deep affinity with my Buddhist Sect.]

With repeated sigh of admiration, the Master of the Buddhist Sect finally get to the point, “This time, I brought you here because our Sacred Tree encountered… some issues during its nurturing, and its growth was stunted. If possible, I hope the Demon Emperor can lend a hand… As compensation…”

His words trailed off as he waved his hand, and before Yu Zi Yu’s widening eyes, ten golden leaves drifted into view.

They were the Bodhi Sacred Leaves, and not just any leaves, but the Bodhi Sacred Tree’s most precious leaves.

Each of these leaves were capable of granting enlightenment.

Though they were of limited use to Yu Zi Yu himself, for his subordinates, especially Nine Tails, Ling Er, and others, they would prove to be quite useful.

As this thought crossed his mind, a subtle fervor rose in Yu Zi Yu’s gaze when looking at these leaves.

“As expected of the Buddhist Sect…such extravagance.” A smile presented itself on Yu Zi Yu’s lips, as he finally understood the reason behind their goodwill.

However… that hardly mattered.

He liked it.

With a low chuckle, Yu Zi Yu stated bluntly, “This won’t be difficult…”

As he said this, his Spiritual Energy surged.

*Booooom…Booooom…* Terrifying roars erupted around him, as Yu Zi Yu’s body trembled violently.

In the next instant, under the Master of the Buddhist Sect’s widening pupils….

*Boooom…* A torrent of vitality, so concentrated that it was almost tangible, erupted from Yu Zi Yu’s body, condensing into a pillar of emerald light that shot straight toward the distant Bodhi Sacred Tree.

*Roooooar…* A low yet resonant roar shook the air, while the vitality erupting from Yu Zi Yu took the shape of an Azure Dragon’s phantom.

His vitality had transformed into a Dragon, once could imagine just how unfathomably vast this vitality was.

And now, this endless tide of life poured directly into the Bodhi Sacred Tree.

“As expected… bringing the Demon Emperor here was indeed the right choice.”

The Master of the Buddhist Sect could not hide the joy spreading across his face.

What he did not know was that for Yu Zi Yu, this truly was nothing more than a trivial matter.

After all, his current strength was far too overwhelming, and the vitality he possessed was practically inexhaustible.

Thus, sprinkling a little vitality meant absolutely nothing to him.

However, even this little bit of vitality was quite significant to the Bodhi Sacred Tree, that was just a Tier-6.

*Swooosh… swoosh…*  Before their eyes, the Bodhi Tree’s branches and golden leaves began to grow bigger, bit by bit.

Its trunk grew taller and thicker at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if it were maturing in real time.

However, growth was not the most important part.

The most important thing was that as the Bodhi Sacred Tree continued to grow, a profound and mysterious aura began to permeate Heaven and Earth.

“The Bodhi Sacred Tree… is truly worthy of being a Divine Tree of Heaven and Earth.”

Deeply shaken, Yu Zi Yu couldn’t help but marvel in awe.

Its ability to enlighten the mind, clear the heart, and even grant enlightenment was truly frightening.

He was fortunate enough to possess Evolution Points, which allowed him to enter a state of enlightenment at will.

However, for others, even those with monstrous talent, it would be fortunate to attain enlightenment once in their lifetime.

And a single moment of enlightenment could mean years of accumulation erupting in a single day.

With good fortune, one might even break free of their shackles and step into a new realm.

Such was enlightenment.

And now, the Buddhist Sect possessed a Sacred Tree like this… one could only imagine how terrifying their future would become.

No wonder in every era, the Buddhist Sect had produced one powerhouse after another…

…

At this moment, the Bodhi Tree’s branches stretched farther, its leaves grew bigger as radiant Bodhi light continued to rise from its trunk.

However, not long after…

*Whoooosh…* Amid the Master of the Buddhist Sect’s twitching eyelids, the Bodhi Sacred Tree suddenly released a golden tide that surged toward Yu Zi Yu.

A tide made entirely of shimmering, golden Bodhi Sacred Leaves.

At a glance, there were at least a hundred leaves.

“…”

A silence, deep and painful silence followed, as the Demi-Buddha’s expression twisted with heartache.

If this had happened before anyone else, they would’ve cursed the Heavens.

[What a waste! It’s precisely because of this Sacred Tree’s extravagant generosity that the Buddhist Sect’s heritage has always been strained…]

Meanwhile, a trace of hesitation flickered across Yu Zi Yu’s face after seeing this.

“This…” Before he could even finish speaking, the Master of the Buddhist Sect pressed his palms together, uttered ‘Amitabha’, then stated, “This is Bodhi’s gift. Please, Demon Emperor, do not refuse…”

However, the instant his words fell, the Master of the Buddhist Sect’s facial muscles twitched violently, because Yu Zi Yu had already, at some unknown moment, collected all hundred-plus leaves, and even the ten leaves he had offered to Yu Zi Yu earlier.

Courtesy?

What was that?

Can it be eaten?
