At the deepest reaches of the Void two figures stood facing one another. One was clad in pristine white robes. It had silver-white hair, cascading freely like a waterfall. It looked graceful and transcendental like an immortal. The other bore six vast wings that stretched across the Heavens. Its violet hair danced around like a mane. It exuded an air of divine nobility, aloof, cold, and magnificent beyond measure.

Neither spoke, they merely lifted their chin ever so slightly, as if looking down upon all creation like a God.

They both appeared majestic and extraordinary.

These two were none other than Yu Zi Yu’s two selves: his True Body, the Demon Emperor; and his second form, the Lord of the Void, the Soaring Purple Dragon.

They stood there in silence, but two different kinds of aura erupted from them, rising continuously.

*Boom… Boom… Boom…* With each pulse, their auras grew even more terrifying, almost becoming tangible.

Visible to the naked, silver-gray and transparent violet energies swelled outward like two colossal domes pressing against one another, their clash threatening to tear the cosmos asunder.

*Crackle…crackle…* Bolts of lightning erupted at the point of collision of their eras, shattering the very fabric of space.

At this moment, had any Tier-6 dared to step into the center of that confrontation, they would have been annihilated in an instant, erased without even a trace of dust.

Their clash was terrifying, inconceivably so.

Their auras were suffocating, cold enough to chill the marrow.

Faintly, one seemed righteous and one demonic, yet both standing at the very pinnacle of existence.

However, it was indeed so.

Although Races were not divided into good or evil, the Void Clan, in the eyes of the Myriad Races, were truly the demons among demons. They were the most accursed of all beings, who preyed upon every other Race.

In contrast, the Demon Emperor was considered righteous by all Races.

Two beings, one embodying dominance, the other embodying evil and darkness, yet supremely noble.

One with the pride to swallow the Heavens, the other with the grandeur of corruption.

There was no denying that this was truly a clash of extremes.

However, right then…

*Haha…* They both laughed at once. Their gazes met and a flash of brilliance erupted in each’s eyes as they spoke in unison, “So this is what it feels like… to control two bodies at once. Haaa… It’s a strange feeling indeed.” Saying so, Yu Zi Yu shifted his consciousness, pulling most of it back into his True Body.

*Huuuu…* Exhaling softly, he turned his gaze toward the distant figure with six radiant wings. He finally understood that from now on, he wouldn’t need to set foot in the Void.

Because this was the territory of the Lord of the Void. If he, the Demon Emperor, were to set foot here, a devastating battle would definitely follow.

After all, a play must be convincing.

Thus, from time to time, a grand confrontation between the Demon Emperor and the Lord of the Void would be… unavoidable.

In fact, Yu Zi Yu had already planned it out. In some desolate galaxy, his two forms would clash with their full might, not to destroy one another, but to create a spectacle so awe-inspiring that the entire cosmos would quake.

When that happens, to all the races, it would appear as though the Demon Emperor and the Lord of the Void had fought a titanic battle, obliterating an entire galaxy.world-breaking battle and tearing apart the fabric of Heaven and Earth.

The mere sight of it would leave them trembling.

*Hahahahaha…* The thought alone made Yu Zi Yu laugh aloud.

It would be a beautiful sight, an entire play performed by one actor, deceiving both the Void Clan and the Myriad Races alike, all dancing in the palm of his hand.

However, at this moment, something struck him, and a helpless sigh escaped his lips. “The One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones… is still incomplete. Controlling two bodies at once feels… clumsy.”

A wry smile crossed his lips.

The True Form of that Grand Divine Ability allowed the user to create three perfect bodies, each indistinguishable from the original.

Not only could these bodies cultivate independently, but even the keenest eyes could not discern a single flaw in their separation.

Even if all three were to clash in chaotic battle, each would exhibit distinct powers and styles with no hint of imitation. Moreover, not only in technique, but in aura, bearing, and every subtle nuance were utterly seamless, impossible to distinguish.

Unless one who had mastered the One Qi Transforming into Three Pure Ones personally confessed, no being could ever tell that the three were one and the same.

And that… was the true terror of the One Qi Transforming into Three Pure Ones.

At present, Yu Zi Yu’s two avatars, the Soaring Purple Dragon and the Dragon of Heavenly Dao, could both cultivate autonomously. However, to control them, his consciousness had to personally descend.

Most of the time, they lay dormant in slumber.

If he tried to enact the play in this situation, he would be forced to divide his mind in two, which would be quite troublesome.

Hence, the One Qi Transforming into Three Pure Ones Grand Divine Ability was something he very much needed.

If could master the complete One Qi Transforming into Three Pure Ones, he would have three Hegemons under his command, each ruling a different domain.

Then, through alliance and intrigue, he could well dominate the world for countless eons.

By then, Yu Zi Yu would become the grand manipulator behind the curtain, pulling every string, toying with fate itself.

And perhaps, someday, even beings as mighty as Half-step Eternals, or even the true Eternals themselves… would become nothing more than chess pieces in his hand.

That was Yu Zi Yu’s ambition.

A dull roar resounded, and a flash of crimson flitted across his eyes, revealing the blaze of that ambition fully ignited.

In the past, he had needed to hide and endure.

But now… he had begun to plan, to act, scheming against this newborn world itself.

“If every Cataclysmic Aron heralds an approaching Catastrophe,, then I hope that the first great calamity of this era will rise because of me and end with me.” His profound, cold voice reverberated through the Void, chilling the Soul.

For Yu Zi Yu sought to become the calamity itself, the Great Catastrophe that would engulf all Races and everything in existence.

This…was no longer mere ambition.

It was pure terror incarnate.

Then again, perhaps it was only natural.

A single Cataclysmic Aeon spanned 6.48 billion years.

And it was precisely during this period that life evolved unceasingly, creatures fought for survival, their destinies intertwining, weaving infinite threads of karma. As life multiplied, this struggle for survival grew even more intense; conflicts became the norm. And under the right catalyst, these conflicts grew into calamities. These calamities, no matter how big or small, were seeds of the Great Catastrophe.

And now, both Yu Zi Yu’s strength and his intent carried the momentum to spark the first of such Catastrophe.

He might well become its greatest beneficiary.

After all, a Catastrophe was not only destruction, but it was also a source of genuine, magnificent fortune.

And to seize such fortune amidst such chaos, to emerge its greatest victory, would push Yu Zi Yu on the certain path to Eternity.

He would certainly achieve Eternity, because a Great Catastrophe involved an immense amount of Karma, immense beyond comprehension.

Becoming the ultimate beneficiary within this chain of cause and effect, even cultivating the power of the Human Dao would be sufficient to propel Yu Zi Yu toward Eternity.

[As the saying goes, ‘Through merit, one attains Sainthood.’ And merit… is but one form of the power of Human Dao…]

Of course, this was only one of Yu Zi Yu’s plans.

Ideally, it would be best to achieve Eternity through his own cultivation.

But if the ordinary cultivation could not take him there, he would then consider triggering a Catastrophe, and use it to plunder everything and ascend to greater heights.
