The violet storm grew ever more vast, its terrifying might beyond horror. If such a storm were to descend upon Earth, in mere moments the planet itself would be reduced to dust.

And this was just a bit of Yu Zi Yu’s power.

Just the Spiritual Energy he drew to sustain a grand formation was enough to annihilate a world.

Now, within that dreadful tempest, the violet lotus’ rotation began to slow down.

In fact, slowing down was not the right term.

Rather, it would be better to say that the time itself was slowly down; its accelerated pace was gradually easing, returning to its proper course.

The lotus spun more languidly, and with it the storms of Void Energy gradually calmed.

“Although it’s not fully mature, it’s getting close…” Gazing quietly at the lotus, now in full bloom, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes flickered with light.

A closer look at the lotus revealed a deep violet radiance pulsating at its heart like a fruit, or a crystal, transparent, gleaming with a dreamlike luster.

It was the mark of the Void Lotus nearing maturity.

Yu Zi Yu’s lips curved into a faint smile. He understood well what it meant.

The Void Lotus currently held a breathtaking level of Void Energy, sufficient to fuel the metamorphosis of the Soaring Purple Dragon.

With that thought, he raised his hand.

*Boooom…* A thunderous roar shook the Void as the booming lotus drew a graceful arc, its petals shedding starlight-like violet crystals as it slowly drifted toward the slumbering dragon.

…

At that very instant, Yu Zi Yu’s pupils contracted, and his consciousness shifted.

*Rooooooar…* A thunderous and majestic roar escaped the slumbering dragon. Shockwaves rippled outward like rings upon water, sweeping through the breadth of the Void.

Its roar alone was enough to overturn worlds.

One could imagine what this signified.

And now, a massive head, as vast as a star, rose into the darkness, carrying with it a long, extremely thick body. Its long and massive violet scales gleamed with an eerie, smoldering light. In addition, tongues of Dragon Flames spilled from them, searing the very Void.

Its terrifying aura flooded the entire void. The suffocating pressure of an apex predator, the King atop the pyramid of existence, gazing down upon everything beneath.

This was the Soaring Purple Dragon. The terror incarnate that was also known as the Infinite Dragon God.

And this dreadful commotion was caused by the mere act of raising its head.

This was just the beginning.

The true transformation had yet to begin.

“Hehe… I’m really excited to see the power of this form after its metamorphosis…” Yu Zi Yu’s soft laugh drifted as the violet lotus descended, and was swallowed whole by the titanic dragon.

*Booooom…* A cataclysmic tremor shook the Void as Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form jolted violently.

In that instant, an unprecedented torrent of power exploded within him.

*Booooom…Booooom…* Increasingly terrifying roars reverberated across the Void as Yu Zi Yu’s body suddenly blazed with glaring violet light.

So brilliant was the glow that his majestic body actually turned translucent. One could even see his bones, gleaming with a startling radiance.

“So this is the power of a Tier-7 Spirit Flower.” Yu Zi Yu’s face revealed a rare state of shock.

The energy was staggering, enough to beggar belief.

Had it been any other Tier-6 Overlord in the dragon’s place, they would have burst apart the instant they dared to swallow it.

Fortunately, he could endure.

As the bearer of the Principle of Infinity, the Purple Dragon Form was in a state of perpetual growth.

It was not just merely the body, his cultivation, his comprehension of power, all were advancing at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Such was the terror of the Supreme Principle of Infinity.

It relied on the power of its host.

If Yu Zi Yu excelled in the Path of Light, then his Light Energy would have grown without end, until he shattered all limits and became Lord of Light.

If he had chosen the Path of Darkness, then he would have descended into the Abyss of Darkness, reborn as the God of Darkness.

But he was a Dragon, and of the Void Clan.

Thus, what grew without limit was his Dragon Form, and his Void Energy.

As a result, his racial traits had grown so monstrous that even this torrent of world-shattering energy was being forcibly digested.

“It’s as if I’ve swallowed the energy of an entire world,” murmuring in a strange voice, Yu Zi Yu lifted his head and loosened a roar.

*Rooooaar…* The roar of a dragon tore across the Void.

And accompanying it, Yu Zi Yu’s colossal Purple Dragon Form began to transform bit by bit.

Energy surged ceaselessly into him, and his body refused none of it. He devoured, refined and absorbed.

*Crack… crack…* The crackling of his bones rang like thunder, echoing through the Void. His scales shuddered, quivering as if in the throes of new growth.

Everything unfolded just as Yu Zi Yu had foreseen. His body was strengthening, his power was deepening, and the Spiritual Energy of this Dragon Form was rising to terrifying new heights.

At this moment, if anyone gazed upon his colossal form, they would be shocked to discover endless streams of Void Energy converging at it, until the Soaring Purple Dragon was wholly encased… sealed within a colossal violet egg, vast as a star.

*Hu… hu…* The colossal egg swelled and contracted like a living heart, devouring the Void Energy with each breath.

…

According to some legends, during the Era of Primordial Chaos, there was once a giant egg.

From it was born the first life. The one who split Heaven and Earth, shattered the chaos.

Now, Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form seemed to mirror that myth.

Cocooned within the Void, its strength grew with every breath, rising at a pace that beggared imagination. Its breathing was like the breath of the Void itself, actually affecting the very Void.

In fact, right above the ginormous egg, a vast violet vortex had manifested, immense beyond measure. It was not the manifestation of Tribulation Clouds, but the Void simply felt something, and compelled to look upon this life about to break its shell.

However, before the Void could gaze for long…

*Boooom…Booooom…* Thunderous rumbles shook the Void as a tree appeared, growing bigger and bigger with every passing second.

Branch after branch, like divine chains, strength to the very edge of the Void.

Its roots transformed into True Dragons and roared to the Heavens, as they plunged deeper and deeper into Time and Space, absorbing the mighty hidden powers from within.

The massive tree continued to grow, until its titanic crown eclipsed the Heavens, spreading across horizons, casting its shadow over the violet egg.

Just like an umbrella, Yu Zi Yu’s True Form was shielding the Soaring Purple Dragon from prying eyes.

He bore the weight of it all. The threats from the Void and from all that lurked in the unseen depths of existence, to guard this violet egg, ensuring that when the Soaring Purple Dragon emerged from its shell, it would rise to rule the Void, to reign supreme.
