In the Void, time had no meaning.

A little over half a month passed by like a breath, and in that span, a corner of the Void grew heavier and stranger by the day. Even some of the great Void Overlords of Tier-6 felt the squeeze and drifted away.

“What is that aura…?”

“How can it be so terrifying? Even a Tier-6 like me can hardly breathe…”

“True horror. True, utter horror… if I get any closer I’m dead for sure…”

One voice after another cried out, as panic spread like a chill in this part of the Void.

While Void Creatures were driven by the most primitive urges, that did not mean that they lacked intelligence. Higher Tier Void Creatures, in particular, possessed rudimentary cognition and razor-quick learning. If they devoured a sentient being or two, their understanding of the world could rise by leagues. Furthermore, creatures ruled by instinct respected instinct above all else. And their instincts were now screaming: ‘this is true terror’.

So, one by one, countless Void Creatures flee in every direction. However, among these countless creatures, there were a few reckless ones who didn’t know what was good for them.

Such reckless and ignorant individuals existed in every race.

Just like now…

*Siiii…* A thunderous hiss echoed as a ginormous python-like Void Creature, a tens of thousands of meters long horror, slithered toward the source of the oppression.

It was then that the beast saw it: a Tree vast enough to prop the Heavens, its roots sunk deep into the marrow of the Void. Its branches hung like chains of divinity, sending ripples through empty space when they swayed. Its roots wound like True Dragons, and when they howled the Void itself trembled.

And beneath this Divine Tree rested a colossal violet egg, as big as a star. As it breathed, torrent of Void Energy surged in and pooled into the egg, while vast curtains of purple mist rose and swelled around it.

*Gulp…* The beast subconsciously swallowed. Greed flared in its eyes as a raw, intoxicating feeling filled its chest.

At this moment, apart from the star-like egg, everything else disappeared from its sight.

“Devour it… I need to devour it… even a taste, and I will be reborn…” mysterious whispers rang in its mind, setting the creature aflame with desire. It couldn’t resist the temptation anymore, nor did it want to.

Now, in its eyes was nothing but that violet egg.

However, in its current state, it failed to notice the thing creeping toward it, a branch like a divine chain, approaching it from the side as silent and swift as a blade.

“Fools…” A cold chuckle escaped Yu Zi Yu, as his branch struck like a spear.

*Squish…* With the crisp sound, the Void Creature was pierced through.

Before it could mount any struggle, the peak Tier-5 Void Creature shattered into violet motes and was absorbed into the branch.

The familiar system voice chimed in Yu Zi Yu’s ear, only to make Yu Zi Yu’s expression grow even colder.

[It seems this level of deterrence isn’t enough. To think there are still fools who still dares to invade my domain!]

*Splash, splash…* Then, a rustle like flowing water rolled through the Void, and a mirage of a river rose behind Yu Zi Yu’s True Form.

It was not a river. A closer look revealed it to be a painting.

The painting depicted a land of pure savagery, where fearsome beasts ran rampant. One could even hear the sounds of countless worshippers praying.

This was Yu Zi Yu’s Tenth Realm, the Wilderness: the complete Great World formed from his own flesh, where civilization now emerged.

At every passing moment, power flowed ceaselessly into Yu Zi Yu.

And at the very instant his Tenth Realm emerged within the Void…

*Boooooom…* A pressure so immense it defied comprehension erupted outward.

It was the breath of an apex predator, the kind that ruled the summit of the food chain.

Even the Tier-6 Void Overlords trembled violently.

A primal terror surged through them, swallowing their consciousness whole.

Some among the weaker ones even perished outright, their bodies bursting apart under the sheer weight of that aura.

*Hmph…* Yu Zi Yu’s cold snort cut through the silence as his gaze turned toward the colossal violet egg nestled deep within the Void.

That was the Soaring Purple Dragon, his second form.

And now, its metamorphosis was nearing its end.

Before long, a Void Creature that transcended mortal understanding would awaken here, a lifeform beyond anything.

And then, the true Void Hegemon would be born, destined to become the true master of the boundless Void itself.

At that very moment, as if sensing Yu Zi Yu’s thoughts…

*Crack… crack…* Crisp cracking sound echoed through the emptiness.

At this moment, if any dared to look, they would see slender fissures spreading across the surface of the violet egg.

The cracks were small, yet from within them burst a radiance so brilliant it seared the Void itself.

*Boooooom…*

The entire expanse was bathed in violet light. Even Yu Zi Yu narrowed his eyes against the glare.

It was blinding, but what truly shook him was the aura that came with it.

Noble. Boundless. Majestic beyond compare.

It resembled the aura of the Dragon Clan, but also the aura of the Void Clan.

No. More precisely, it was a fusion of the two… but elevated, refined to an unimaginable purity.

The terrifying power of the Supreme Principle of Infinity finally revealed itself at this moment. Thanks to it, the Bloodline of the Soaring Purple Dragon had been elevated to an unprecedented level.

The Dragon Essence within it was perhaps even purer than the mythical Dream Dragon, a Noble of the Dragon Clan.

As for the Void essence, words could not do it justice.

When the Soaring Purple Dragon’s breath spilled into the Void, endless tides of Void Energy came roiling, as if gathering in reverence, in worship, in exaltation.

…

Witnessing this, Yu Zi Yu’s consciousness descended once more into the egg.

*Roooooar…* A majestic, resonant Dragon Roar echoed from within.

But unlike before, it carried a note of royal pride, and an untamed, rebellious spirit that could not be restrained.

Then, the long-shut Dragon Eyes slowly opened.

*Boooom… boooom…*

Twin beams of divine violet light shot forth, piercing through the eggshell and slicing straight into the infinite Void.

*Boooooom…* As if piercing through the entirety of the Void, countless scenes unfolded before his awakening gaze.

And amidst that vision, Yu Zi Yu spotted a pair of purple, lucid eyes. Bright, curious, and quietly watching him.

However, in the blink of an eye, those eyes vanished.

As if startled.

As if afraid.

“What… was that?” Murmuring softly to himself, Yu Zi Yu began to stretch his vast Dragon Form within the cracking shell.
