Yu Zi Yu chose to ignore the fleeting image of those violet eyes he had just seen.

Now was not the time. His focus lay solely upon himself.

*Crack… crack…*

A crisp, rhythmic sound echoed through the emptiness as Yu Zi Yu stretched his colossal Dragon Form, pressing against the confines of the violet eggshell.

However, whether by fate or law, every birth seemed destined to endure a trial of pain. Even for Yu Zi Yu, breaking out of this eggshell felt unusually arduous.

The shell, though thin to the eye, was terrifyingly resilient. Even with his current strength, it refused to yield at once.

“I guess, I will have to adapt to my new body first…” A faint smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

He was not frustrated by this.

If the shell was this strong, then the life it guarded must be even more so.

After all, this violet shell was not a mere barrier. It was an extension of the Soaring Purple Dragon’s own power.

And now…

*Boooooom…*

A sudden, thunderous roar rippled through the Void as Yu Zi Yu mobilized his vast Spiritual Energy.

*Rumble… rumble…*

Boundless power surged like a storming sea, boiling within him until his entire form blazed with radiant violet light.

Then…

*Rooooaar…* A majestic Dragon Roar split the Heavens. It was long and sonorous, brimming with extremely penetrating power.

Before that roar, the very fabric of the Void shattered like fragile glass.

Adding more to the dread, from within the giant violet egg, a vast draconic shadow ascended, soaring into the infinite expanse. It was the manifestation of Yu Zi Yu’s aura, the overwhelming might of the Soaring Purple Dragon.

The aura was strong to the point of being tangible. Its appearance alone scattered the purple clouds veiling the sky.

It was announcing to the entire Void the birth of a sovereign being.

“Break!” With a roar that shook the world, Yu Zi Yu’s rising aura reached its zenith.

And in the next moment…

*Boooooom…* The egg shattered with a resounding roar, as countless fragments of violet shell exploded outward, streaking across the Void like streams of shooting stars, each one slicing through the darkness.

It was a breathtaking sight: a rain of violet meteors scattering through eternity.

However, even that paled before the figure that emerged from the explosion, a Violet Dragon, magnificent and transcendent.

Gone was the wild, unrestrained ferocity of before. Now, it carried the elegance and majesty of a divine monarch. Its twin horns shone like coral, radiating the purest violet light beneath the Heavens. Its long, sleek body rippled with power and grace, and its every scale shimmered in deep violet-red, almost like the purple at its peak. Even faint hues of violet could be seen streaking through them.

However, the most breathtaking than anything were its Dragon Eyes as if dyed by the edge of twilight itself.

They were unfathomable. A single glance at them felt like staring into the abyss.

It was suffocating and terrifying. One look, and even the heart forgot how to beat.

“So this… is my new form.” Yu Zi Yu failed to stop himself from chuckling.

He found it amusing, because he looked quite handsome.

If he were a real Dragon, he would no doubt be the kind to drive countless Dragon Maidens to madness.

However, that was not important.

Such vanity was nothing beside what really mattered, power.

It was incredible and overwhelming.

He was far stronger than before, tenfold, perhaps even more.

And most astonishing of all, this body was directly connected to the source of everything. His Spiritual Energy was infinite.

That was no exaggeration.

Within his heart, a violet vortex had taken shape. That vortex was the embodiment of the Principle of Infinity, the Vortex of Infinity that linked his very existence to the Void itself.

So long as the Void existed, his Spiritual Energy would never run dry.

But it was also this very Vortex of Infinity that imposed a limit on him. The amount of energy flowing into Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form at any given moment was limited.

In other words, even if Yu Zi Yu unleashed every drop of his Spiritual Energy in a single breath, he would not be able to recover all of it in a moment. In fact, only a portion of it would recover within a limited timeframe.

This was because it took time for the Void Energy to flow into Yu Zi Yu’s Dragon Form.

However, if he mastered that rhythm, if he learned to balance the flow between expenditure and replenishment, then his Spiritual Energy would become truly endless and inexhaustible.

However, this was not yet the end of his metamorphosis.

A glimmer crossed Yu Zi Yu’s eyes as his gaze turned toward the countless fragments of violet eggshell scattered across the Void.

Those fragments were no mere debris. Each shard was a priceless treasure in its own right. In quality, they were no less than a Tier-7 Divine Artifact.

More importantly, they were extensions of his power and Bloodline, pieces of his very being.

And now…

Yu Zi Yu’s lips curved into a faint smile, as he suddenly let out a roar.

*Rooooaar…* A thunderous Dragon Roar rolled across the Void, but this time, it carried a summoning call.

The next moment…

*Swish, swish, swish…* In the next instant, the innumerable streaks of violet light reversed their course, streaming back toward Yu Zi Yu’s Dragon Form like a meteor storm in reverse.

“Void Wings, unfold!”

With a booming command, six colossal wings of violet light, each spanning across the Heavens, unfurled behind his body.

These were the Void Wings, born from the Quintessence of the Imperial Artifact: Sixteen Holy Wings.

When it was all said and done, they were ultimately infused with Void Energy, and thus, ill-suited for Yu Zi Yu’s True Form.

So, he had bestowed it upon his Soaring Purple Dragon body instead.

However, because these wings were formed from Quintessence, they were ethereal, translucent, and beautiful as an illusion.

However, the very next moment…

*Haha…* Chuckling, Yu Zi Yu’s mind stirred.

Immediately after, the countless shards of violet shell that had been drawn back to him melted into radiant streams of purest energy, surging toward those spectral wings.

[Since they are illusory, let us make them real. Let’s grant the Soaring Purple Dragon a genuine set of Void Wings. This will not merely allow the wings’ full power to be displayed; it will make them the Purple Dragon’s personal Tier-7 Extreme Dao Artifact.]

[No. Not merely Tier-7. These wings carry the potential to reach Tier-8. Born from its blood, fused with its very body, they will receive the blessing of the Supreme Principle of Infinity. They will grow, endlessly, forever evolving alongside the Soaring Purple Dragon. And when that day comes, when their evolution reaches its peak, the Tier-8 Imperial Artifact, the Void Wings, will descend upon the world.]

[This is the Dragon’s personal weapon: born of the Void, for the Void, and inimitable by any other being. Unique. Inimitable. Eternal. It’ll be an Imperial Artifact that possesses the terrifying gift of infinite growth. What does this infinite growth for an Imperial Artifact means, I don’t know. But I’m sure about one thing, a forbidden weapon has been born in the Void!]
