“Sarcosuchus, thank you for your hard work.” Yu Zi Yu sighed, looking at the distant Sarcosuchus, whose body was drenched in blood and riddled in bone-revealing gaping wounds, his gaze narrowing slightly.

Sarcosuchus’ body was amazing. Be that as it may, when against ancient-era Sword Cultivators, things still turned south.

Sword Cultivators excelled at offense. Their sharp Sword Qi was a natural counter to a strong physical body. Once the defense fell, nothing could stop it.

*Haaa…* Shaking his head helplessly, Yu Zi Yu waved his branches, sprinkling star-like glitters.

“Divine…Tree.” Murmuring, Sarcosuchus felt his body quiver, feeling as if he had returned the warmest embrace. Furthermore, his injuries also started healing gradually. What pleased him even more was that the Sword Qi lingering around his wound that had been troubling him was also gradually dissipating.

“Thankfully, your physique is robust. Even without my intervention, it wouldn’t take more than ten days for you to recover.”  While speaking, Yu Zi Yu gazed at Sarcosuchus’ body, which had already begun to heal, and squinted his eyes.

In terms of physique alone, Sarcosuchus was indeed pretty strong. Had he not been up against a Sword Cultivator, he would not have been forced into such dire straits. After all, Sarcosuchus relied solely on himself.

On the other hand, the Sword Cultivator relied on offensive methods inherited from ancient times. There was no comparison between the two.

Being able to hold on until now was already quite an achievement.

At this moment, as if realizing something, Sarcosuchus suddenly asked, “Master, apart from that Sword Cultivator, there’s been a large-scale influx of other Humans into Misty Mountains trying to hunt for treasure. Should we…”

Before he could finish, a cold voice resounded in the air, “KIll them.”

While he had spoken in a calm and gentle manner, his voice reverberated like a peal of thunder.

His terrifying killing intent made the Mutant Beast to shiver.

However, after a moment, Yu Zi Yu added, “This time, you don’t need to take action. Let me establish the reputation of Misty Mountains.”

Saying so, wave after wave of horrifying Spiritual Energy surged forth. The next moment, towering vortexes of mist formed behind Yu Zi Yu.

*Roar, Roar, Roar…* Followed by shrill roars that sounded as if coming from ancient times. A dreadful aura that made numerous Mutant Beasts shiver surged.

The next moment…

*Mooo…* A dreadful roar akin to a bellow reverberated through the sky as an enormous Bull, 70-80 meters tall, seemingly carrying a mountain on its back, walked out of the vortex of mist.

Immediately after…

*Grooaar…* With another roar, like that of a Fox but not quite, a giant Fox with nine enormous tails, about fifty to sixty meters in length, slowly emerged from the vortex.

Mist Beasts – Creatures formed by Yu Zi Yu by controlling the mist, a bizarre life form that seemed both real and unreal.

Now, with Yu Zi Yu’s millionfold Spiritual Energy, these Mist Beasts had undergone a qualitative transformation. The most powerful ones, like the Mountain Back Bull and the Nine-Tailed Fox, had reached the power of Tier-1 Transcendent.

However, the strength of these Mist Beasts was not the main focus; it was their peculiarity, as well as their ability to divert Humans’ attention.

While Yu Zi Yu was not afraid of Humans now, the ‘Forbidden Zone Plan’ still needed to continue.

A Forbidden Zone was equivalent to a place for nurturing and resting. It was sufficient to deter most people’s prying eyes. For this reason, Yu Zi Yu spared no effort in creating Mist Beasts, adding an air of mystery and dread to Misty Mountains.

“Go forth, and leave a mark for your name. Any Human who steps into the inner region, show them no mercy.”

Amidst a bone-chilling cold voice, one after another, bizarre and massive Mist Beasts of peculiar forms, began running toward the inner region of Misty Mountains, stepping on the mist.

For a moment, a huge amount of mist rolled back in the sky, as if an army galloping forth, leaving onlookers awestruck.

…

Meanwhile, within Misty Mountains, the expressions of many observing Humans suddenly changed. Standing on a hill, gazing at Misty Mountains, numerous people were astonished to find that the perpetual mist shrouding the mountain was surging like waves.

“What, what’s that?” a person cried out in a horrified voice, stammering.

Looking in the direction of his finger, everyone saw a grotesque head emerging from a massive wave of mist.

It somewhat resembles a giant Dragon, yet grotesque.

Now, as if sensing their gaze, the head formed from mist turned toward them.

*Grooaar…* Despite being separated by millions of meters, they could still faintly hear a deep and resonant roar that seemed to come straight from ancient times.

It was majestic and awe-inspiring. But more than that, it was extremely chilling.

After a moment, in the astonished gazes of many people, that mist-formed head abruptly plunged into the wave of mist below.

However, after a moment, people caught sight of a pair of enormous cloud wings intermittently appearing and disappearing.

“Mist…Mist Lifeform!?” Someone muttered in disbelief, causing some people’s faces to turn pale.

Mist Lifeforms were a horrifying legend of Misty Mountains. According to legend, they were massive and grotesque. According to legend, they were cruel and terrifying. However, there was no doubt that they were strong, and truly fearsome. After all, human weapons were completely ineffective against them.

Even if they were dispersed, they would be reborn within Misty Mountains, achieving a true state of ‘immortality.’

“No, no, it’s not possible. We must be seeing things.” Some could not believe it and started rubbing their eyes.

Yet, just then… With a tremendous boom, a certain area within the inner region of Misty Mountains suddenly trembled.

Immediately after, a gust of wind appeared out of nowhere, sweeping in all directions.

*Boom!* The howling wind blew through the mist, and reached the Humans, leaving him somewhat bewildered.

Someone raised his hand, and saw mist flowing between his fingers.

Raising his gaze, looking toward the inner region of Misty Mountains, he apparently saw a monstrous Mist Beast roaring at the sky, and the aftermath of that roar was causing wind to blew in all directions.

…

Meanwhile, within a certain area of Misty Mountains’s inner region, a crater dozens of meters deep and a hundred meters wide had appeared.

If one looked toward the sky, they would surprisingly witness a giant Fox with nine towering tails closing its mouth slowly.

[Breath Attack – A technique possessed by every Mist Beast. Basically, it was Yu Zi Yu’ controlling the mist, rotating and accelerating the mist within the Mist Beast’s body, ultimately creating a tornado-like storm.]

And now, it was the mightiest of the most powerful Mist Beast’s Breath Attack.

Everything within a hundred meters had been laid to waste.

However, this was not the terrifying aspect.

Relatively speaking, every Tier-1 Transcendent could achieve a similar feat. But what makes Mist Beasts the most fearsome was their momentum to push forward destruction.

In Misty Mountains, they had the geographical advantage. They could easily cause a huge commotion, like just now. They just set off a wave of mist, but it spread for kilometers.

And this, too, was a deliberate act by Yu Zi Yu.

Mist Beasts might not be inherently powerful, but in conjunction with such grandeur, their ‘strength’ would cause countless Humans to shiver in fear and even despair.

People only believe what they saw, and Yu Zi Yu provided them with the ‘strength’ they wanted to see.
