*Grooaar…* An inexplicable roar, carrying a touch of unimaginable pain, reverberated through the forest.

The fearsome Sword Qi was lingering on his wounds like maggots on rotting bones, refusing to leave. Even someone as powerful as Sarcosuchus was finding it hard to bear. And yet, this was the result of a casual strike from the silver-haired middle-aged man’s hand.

Realising this, Sarcosuchus’ gaze toward the distant silver-haired figure carried a deep sense of dread. Of course, it was also accompanied by fury.

*Grooaar…* An inexplicable low growl echoed around the outskirts of the canyon. Simultaneously, a savage and bloodthirsty aura grew even more intense.

The next moment, Sarcosuchus, staring at the distant middle-aged man, suddenly roared toward the sky.

*Grooaar…* His roar shook reverberated throughout the sky like a peal of thunder. At the same time, his entire body started to vibrate like it had been equipped with engines.

His muscles pulsated in an imperceptible rhythmic manner as strength surged through his every fibre.

*Grooaar…* With a roar, Sarcosuchus charged toward the silver-haired middle-aged man.

“Oh? You are still holding out!?” Lightly chuckling, the silver-haired man looked down at the sword in his hand, wiping off the last drop of blood.

After a moment, he looked up again, a sharp gleam like that of a sword flickering in the depths of his eyes.

“Die.” With a light shout, he took a step forward, like stepping on clouds, and instantly arrived before Sarcosuchus.

The long sword in his hand gently danced, leaving bloody marks on Sarcosuchus’ body one after another. At the same time, his figure moved elusively, easily evading Sarcosuchus’ lunges.

This was a battle between the peak Human expert and Sarcosuchus. Rather than calling it a battle, it was more like a one-sided torture. It was tragic, and yet terrifying.

And of course, as a result, sharp and mournful screams were resounding within the inner region of Misty Mountains. It seemed like a reminder, yet also a warning.

However, the fighting spirit within this mournful cry grew stronger by the moment. He swore to fight to death.

Behind him was the Divine Tree. So, he could not retreat a single step.

…

At this moment, within the inner area of North Canyon. As if sensing something, Golden Ant’s expression suddenly changed.

“Fourth Brother.” With a violent shout, Golden Ant shattered the chest of the Human in front of him, before rushing toward the rear.

On another side…

Within the forest, the leisurely walking White Tiger and Thorns also froze simultaneously.

“Hmm!?” Muttering in suspicion, Thorns looked toward the direction of North Canyon.

The next moment, looking at the billowing mist and sensing the faint vibrations of the ground, the two exchanged glances and their expressions changed drastically.

“Quick! Let’s go.”

Just as she proposed this, White Tiger abruptly turned around and dashed toward the rear like a maniac.

[How is this possible? How could someone as strong as Fourth Brother make such mournful cries? And… he’s warning us to not approach. Impossible! Absolutely impossible!] Roaring in his mind, the speed of the White Tiger increased once again.

However, compared to White Tiger, Golden Ant, and others, there were several figures even faster.

*Screech, Screech, Screech…* One after another, sharp, piercing cries filled the air as several small black figures streaked across the sky. These figures tore through the clouds and headed straight toward North Canyon like arrows fired from the bow, their speed increasing as they flapped their wings.

They kept continuously accelerating. Until a certain moment, as if breaking a critical point, sonic booms erupted one after another.

*Boom, boom, boom…*

And as they crossed the speed of sound, the three falcons folded their wings, and their bodies rotated at a terrifying speed.

Bullet Dive – They can dive at a speed that surpasses everything, giving them an unparalleled penetration power that could tear through all defenses. (Warning: It has terrible side-effects. If they are not careful and fail to withstand the sudden increase in speed, their bodies might be torn apart even before they could tear apart their enemies.)

It was quite a terrifying Innate Talent, but also a sadistic method that risked one’s life to take another’s.

Since advancing to Tier-0 Level 9, the Peregrine Falcons had rarely used this self-destructive pyrrhic Innate Talent. However, at this moment, hearing the pitiful cry of their Fourth Brother, these Peregrine Falcons simultaneously activated their Innate Talents without a moment of hesitation.

*Boom!*

As the sonic booms intensified, he felt as if the ears had gone deaf.

Meanwhile, if someone looked toward the sky at this moment, they would see three huge storms heading straight toward the distant silver-haired man from three different directions.

“Hmm!?” Sensing something, the silver-haired middle-aged man’s pupils contracted slightly, and he promptly looked up. What met his eyes next was huge storms after storms.

“Mutant Peregrine Falcon…”

Rarely were the moments the silver-haired middle-aged man had to treat things with solemnity, and this was one of those rare moments. His pupils could not help but shrink at the sight of the figures tearing through the sky.

They were fast, extremely fast. So fast that even he found it somewhat hard to believe.

He instinctively raised his sword to block, but the next moment…

With a deafening clap, he was sent flying. Yet, before he could land, another storm came bearing down on him.

*Boom!* Accompanied by a deafening clash, his body was slammed deep into the earth.

*Boom, boom, boom…”

Along with a series of deafening crashes, a pit was created on the ground at a speed visible to the naked eyes.   In the blink of an eye, a crater tens of metres wide had appeared on the ground.

However, what was incredulous was that the silver-haired middle-aged man managed to erect a thick shield of Spiritual Energy with one hand, forming a shield in front of his chest. And not far away from his palm, a fist-sized black bird happened to be spinning at an astonishing speed, causing sparks to fly everywhere for a moment.

“Amazing, it can actually display the might of a Transcendent while at Tier-0 by relying on its amazing speed and rotation…” Muttering to himself, a fire seemed to burn in the silver-haired middle-aged man’s eyes, gazing at the Peregrine Falcon a bit away from his palm.

Although he had no idea how the Peregrine Falcons had reached this level of strength, he could not help but be intrigued.

[If I can get these kinds of Mutant Birds to obey me…why would we need to worry about airspace?] Thinking of this, the corner of the middle-aged man’s lips rose into a smile.

The next moment, he fiercely flipped his hand, grabbing the Peregrine Falcon.

“You’re pretty good, you can actually display strength comparable to a Transcendent while at Tier-0.” Saying so, the silver-haired middle-aged man  patted the dust of his chest before adding, “Unfortunately, you guys ran into me.”

Just as he said this, the silver-haired middle-aged man slightly tightened his grip, paying no heed to the struggles of the Peregrine Falcon, and then, slowly made his way toward the surface.

At present, the Prehistoric Crocodile was already heavily injured, and so were the Peregrine Falcons after using their pyrrhic Innate Talent and consequently dealing heaving blows…

Although the middle-aged man too had suffered some light injuries, it was ultimately nothing serious.

So to say, his victory was set in stone.

Thinking this, a fervent gleam appeared in the depths of the silver-haired middle-aged man’s eyes. Looking toward the depths of the canyon, his eyes were filled with an inexplicable anticipation.

To be able to raise the Mutant Peregrine Falcons, as well as Mutant Sarcosuchus to this level, he was really looking forward to what was inside the canyon.

However, at this moment, the silver-haired middle-aged man had no idea that thousands of metres deep underground, a figure in red dress was already agitated. Her shiny black hair happened to be dancing in the air even when there was no wind blowing.

“I originally didn’t intend to kill you.” Murmuring, an astonishingly powerful surge of Spiritual Energy began to rise.
