Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 1482: Chapter 1483: Opportunity to Gain Fame

Qi Taiguo returned, which meant her backbone was back, and Cheng Su felt increasingly at ease, suddenly feeling that all her worries had vanished, with tall ones to rely on.

Seeing that her due date was less than a month away, in order to have a smooth delivery, Cheng Su dared not sit still all day but walked around everywhere. So she took Mother Cheng, either to school, the factory, or the restaurant to move around, thinking that with more exercise, she might suffer less during childbirth.

Qi Taiguo was a bit nervous and only let her walk around the compound, afraid that if labor started suddenly, it would be troublesome without anyone to assist.

This led Cheng Su and Mother Cheng to protest. Mother Cheng even said that when she gave birth to Cheng Su back then, she was still harvesting wheat in the field, and because of all the labor, she gave birth as easily as going to the bathroom. It was all because of being so active.

Her words made both Qi Taiguo and Cheng Su laugh and cry. How could they compare? Those were harsh conditions back then; it couldn’t be compared now. But Cheng Su didn’t argue; anyway, she walked whenever she could.

In late June, after taking exams at university, Cheng Su officially went on holiday, officially bidding farewell to her sophomore study. She had more time, so she only went to the factory and restaurant to wander and manage.

At the factory, the scale was growing ever larger, with more workers, even the dining area had doubled, and the business was also expanding. Sometimes, they had to work overtime at night to rush orders out.

Joy Soon Loy Jam had such scale and reputation in just a few years, considered rapid development and astonishing.

Therefore, some newspapers wanted to do a special interview and report, also to inspire people now diving into entrepreneurship.

”Technically, you’re the legal representative, so the interview target should be you. I’m just a shareholder, not involved,” Ning Ge said to Cheng Su.

Cheng Su said, ”What shareholder? Everyone has a share in the company now, after redistributing the shares, you and I hold the same stake. Besides, I look terribly ugly right now, how can I take an interview?”

After several people discussed, they felt it was good to accept the interview, after all, it’s an excellent promotion and free advertisement for their company product, why not agree?

But there was a dispute over who should do the interview. Cheng Su wanted Ning Ge to go, but Ning Ge wanted Cheng Su to handle it herself.

”I have no interest in publicity,” Ning Ge shook his fingers.

Cheng Su gave him a sidelong glance, ”Who’s asking you to be famous? It’s just to promote our company.”

”You should know my unofficial status; it’s not suitable for me. It’s better if you do the interview!” Ning Ge said, ”Besides, this company was indeed founded by you alone, although our shares are equal, I only invested. You understand the company’s significance and feelings better than me, so it’s most suitable for you. If I return to a public position in the future, how do you think I’ll handle this company then?”

Cheng Su fell silent, knowing what he meant. If he truly takes any department position later, dealing with the company part will indeed be difficult.

Military and business are separate, can be investors, but no organization has staff who are also company owners.

Ning Ge was thinking ahead to avoid trouble.

”Alright, you’ve convinced me!” Cheng Su finally conceded.

Ning Ge smiled triumphantly, ”Good news, if the magazine and newspaper see your gloomy face like this, they’ll bloody vomit three liters!”

Such a good fame opportunity, there are still people who disdain it, how can they not bleed?
