Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

29: Chapter 29: Huge Losses of Hundreds of Billions, Small ProfitsMeanwhile, in the financial markets, as the Descendant of the Dragon tore the Soul of God in half, Future Auto, which had been in a decline, suddenly reversed 180 degrees and shot straight up at a nearly vertical angle.

Returning to 200 USD! Returning to 280 USD! Returning to 300 USD! Breaking through historical highs, it headed straight for 400 USD!

In just one minute, all sell orders were snapped up by the incoming swarm of buyers!

And it continued to surge upward without stopping!

Since the Descendant of the Dragon could defeat the Soul of God so violently, it could only mean that the Brain-like Chip it was equipped with was real and far superior to Qualcomm’s 1nm Chip!

As the first new energy vehicle giant in the Dragon Kingdom equipped with a Brain-like Chip, Future Auto naturally benefited immensely!

At this moment, even the multinational capitalists of the United States were frantically buying into Future Auto.

Three minutes later, it had violently surged to 600 USD.

Calculated from the low of 189 USD, it had risen by more than three times!

And the upward trend continued!

”How is this possible!”

In a luxurious Gothic building on Wall Street, Ms. Thatcherong was dumbfounded.

She had watched as the imposing Soul of God knocked off the left arm of the Descendant of the Dragon.

Yet, the Descendant of the Dragon suddenly doubled its combat power, while the Soul of God turned out to be a pushover.

Before she could react, the Soul of God had already been violently torn in half!

”Ms. Thatcherong!”

”We have already incurred a floating loss of 5 billion USD in one minute!”

The butler rushed over.

Ms. Thatcherong had previously purchased 5 billion USD in short positions on Future Auto and 500 million in long positions on Tesla.

But at this moment, Tesla plummeted, Future Auto skyrocketed, and the positions she had bought were completely reversed!

”Sell, sell it quickly!”

Ms. Thatcherong realized and hurriedly gave the order.

”Yes!”

The butler immediately told the traders to dump the short positions. But it was too late.

In just a few minutes, Future Auto had been pushed up by global capitalists by a full three times!

Everyone was buying long positions!

And their short positions were unwanted, so they could only be sold off bit by bit like squeezing toothpaste.

”Ma’am, we can’t sell them!”

The butler rushed over again.

Everyone was buying long now, and the short positions couldn’t be offloaded at all!

They could only watch helplessly as the account balance suffered insane losses!

It started at 5 billion USD, but it ended up becoming a loss of 15 billion USD.

15 billion USD! That was a full 100 billion RMB!

Although Ms. Thatcherong and Liu Junan claimed to control trillions in assets, those were just assets.

The cash they could actually pull out was only around 200 billion RMB.

Even Buffett only had 500 billion RMB in liquid cash.

Yet Ms. Thatcherong, in these few short minutes, had lost more than half of her cash on the spot!

”Damn the Descendant of the Dragon!”

”Damn the Dragon Kingdom!”

The once elegant Ms. Thatcherong now had eyes full of venomous resentment.

The wealth she had accumulated for so long had vanished into thin air in an instant!

...

”The Descendant of the Dragon! It won!”

”That’s amazing!”

In Qingyu Residential District, when Qin Xueyao saw the Descendant of the Dragon send the Soul of God to meet God with its bare hands, she danced around the living room barefoot on the spot.

Even her clothes started falling off one by one.

”See how much money you’ve made.”

Jiang Chen took out his phone and glanced at it.

He had bought Future Auto around 189 USD; while it wasn’t the absolute lowest point, it was close to it.

It was now over 600 USD, a full three-fold increase.

This meant that when he bought in a few minutes ago, it was over a million.

But now, his total assets had become over three million!

Earning over two million in just a few minutes—it couldn’t be more satisfying!

Qin Xueyao heard this and hurriedly pulled out her phone to take a look.

Seeing the screen full of red, she beamed with joy: ”Haha, I also made over 1.7 million!”

Although she had bought it a bit earlier than Jiang Chen, she had bought it at over 200 USD, and now she had a floating profit of nearly two million.

In other words, the two of them had made nearly four million on the spot in just a few short minutes!

That was enough for a house.

...

At the technology exhibition, Lawton stared at everything before him in disbelief.

He muttered to himself: ”This is impossible...”

But!

Sparks were still flying on the field.

Staff members had already gone to extinguish the fire and collect the parts.

All of this told him that the Soul of God had truly been beaten to meet God by the Descendant of the Dragon.

”Mr. Lawton, it seems that the Qualcomm 1nm Chip used in your Soul of God is not the top-tier chip in the world after all.”

Xia Zhongxun looked at Lawton with a smile.

Lawton’s expression was extremely ugly.

He snorted coldly and turned to leave without a word!

The Soul of God had been beaten up by the Dragon Kingdom’s intelligent mecha in front of the whole world.

He would be reprimanded by that person in the White House when he got back!

He had no time to stay here and embarrass himself!

Xia Zhongxun and his group were calm and collected, having people pack up the Descendant of the Dragon, preparing to transport it back to their country.

”Elder Xia, could you reveal when this Brain-like Chip from the Dragon Kingdom was released?”

”Elder Xia, is the Dragon Kingdom’s Brain-like Chip currently only supplied to Future Auto?”

”Xia...”

Global media reporters rushed toward Xia Zhongxun, microphones in hand.

Xia Zhongxun responded calmly to the camera: ”Our country’s Brain-like Chip has been out for some time!”

”For now, it is only supplied to Future Auto.”

”As for the future, once production expands, we will consider supplying a portion of the Brain-like Chips to enterprises and countries that are friendly to our country!”

Not far away, Tesla founder, Musk, did not follow Lawton away.

He was a multinational capitalist.

Why walk away from something that could make money?

So!

He walked over and asked Xia Zhongxun very politely.

”Elder Xia, although we at Tesla are a United States enterprise, we have always been very friendly toward your country.”

”Could you supply some chips to us at Tesla while also supplying Future Auto?”

With the appearance of Musk, the media went even wilder.

Even a giant enterprise from the United States was publicly seeking the Dragon Kingdom’s Brain-like Chip.

Xia Zhongxun gave him a faint glance and said dismissively: ”That depends on our arrangements. If there are any leftover defective products, we can give you some; if not, you’ll just have to wait in line.”

Having said that!

He led the group away, leaving behind Musk, who had been full of anticipation but now had a darkened face.

He had actually been rejected!

[Hahaha, so satisfying. They cut off our Future Auto chips before, regretting it now?]

Netizens were amused.

However, there were still bootlickers who said sarcastically: [Can you have some perspective? The international giant Tesla has taken the initiative to seek cooperation, and you won’t accept it? Be careful of regretting it!]

[Get lost, you idiot!]

[Get lost, you idiot!]
