Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

99: Chapter 99 Ancient Spaceship, Studying KangaroosTwo days later.

The thirteen cargo ships had not only finished unloading but had also been reloaded with rare minerals.

The cargo fleet departed from Zhujiang Port.

Jiang Chen was piloting pearl river 888, still following behind the last cargo ship.

”Hey, fresh tomatoes.”

Jiang Chen threw a few tomatoes from a bag to the kangaroo in front of him.

The kangaroo hadn’t been electrocuted to death, but it had been knocked unconscious for several days.

Now that it had woken up, it was already starving.

Fortunately, Jiang Chen had prepared plenty of plants, vegetables, and fruits, so it shouldn’t die at sea on the way back to the country.

The kangaroo lowered its head and began to munch away.

One of its front limbs had already been locked up by Jiang Chen using handcuffs and a mortar, so there was absolutely no chance of it running away.

Jiang Chen didn’t worry about it.

Feeding time over.

The cargo fleet began to accelerate towards the country.

Meanwhile, at Longke Academy.

A large truck transported a batch of top-secret items to the Zhujiang military airport.

These top-secret items were the Life No. 1 Serum successfully replicated by the Longke Academy chemistry laboratory.

However, there were only two hundred vials.

Although it had already undergone mammalian trials, it still hadn’t been commercialized on a large scale.

Instead, they produced two hundred vials, planning to send them to the Dragon God located on the Antarctic continent, as well as the Antarctic scientific research stations.

Because those two places had the most Gene Warriors.

The final effect of this serum still needed to be tested by the Gene Warriors first.

Boom!

At the airport, a large transport plane took off, heading toward the Antarctic continent.

Nine hours later.

Near 57 degrees south latitude, the large transport plane encountered the Dragon God aircraft carrier strike group.

It landed on the deck and delivered this batch of classified Life No. 1 Serum into the hands of the Dragon God commander, Commander Li Jing.

”Thank you for your hard work, go get some rest first.”

Commander Li Jing stood on the deck, directing his subordinates to move the five large crates of Life No. 1 Serum into the research laboratory one by one.

”This Longke Academy is impressive, they actually managed to produce this kind of high-sequence gene serum.”

A staff officer, after flipping through the basic information on this batch of serum, looked on with pleasant surprise.

Commander Li Jing picked up a bright green serum vial and squinted to examine it: ”It’s truly a bit unexpected. I remember that the Dragon Group had always been the ones researching gene serum-related things. I didn’t expect the Longke Academy laboratory to have a breakthrough as well?”

”I heard it was concocted by a genius female doctor at Longke Academy. As for how she concocted it, Longke Academy has kept it confidential, so it’s currently unknown.”

”Oh right, this female doctor is said to be from Dragon God Academy as well, she just joined not long ago. She’s truly a genius.”

Another staff officer said.

”A junior from Dragon God Academy?”

Commander Li Jing raised an eyebrow.

He had also graduated from Dragon God Academy a long time ago.

Although that was many years ago, hearing that such a talent had come out of Dragon God Academy now made him feel quite gratified.

”It seems the talent from my alma mater is becoming more and more abundant.”

”Next time I return to the country, I must snatch such talent onto the aircraft carrier to do research.”

Commander Li Jing pondered secretly.

”I’m afraid that won’t be so easy, with that old man Xia Zhongxun...” The staff officer laughed.

Commander Li Jing chuckled: ”Once we share a portion of the big treasure from the research station with their Longke Academy, I guarantee they will wish for the entire Longke Academy to come over here and do research.”

”The big treasure at the research station is indeed substantial, but isn’t it still under investigation?”

”That old man never makes a move without seeing the results first.”

The staff officer shook his head.

Zhongshan Station and Great Wall Station were the two major scientific research stations of the Dragon Kingdom located on the Antarctic continent.

Over these years, the scientists had endured the bitter cold in Antarctica, persisting in their investigations.

Finally, half a year ago, they made an astonishing discovery.

”It was an ancient spaceship...”

”It had been frozen for at least ten thousand years...”

Those scientists who returned from the expedition, wrapped in snow-padded coats, their lips purple from the cold, but their eyes shining with a burning intensity, like the sun.

According to their preliminary judgment, this astonishing discovery was enough to allow humanity to enter the interstellar era!

Of course.

Currently, the research work was extremely difficult, coupled with the secrecy, as well as the polar day and polar night phenomena in Antarctica, the scientists had their days and nights reversed, and also had to face life-threatening dangers...

Therefore!

Progress was very slow.

Especially recently.

Around the Antarctic continent, besides the Dragon God, even the three aircraft carriers from the United States, not knowing if they had discovered any clues, had also been patrolling the surrounding waters...

This made the scientists at the research station even more cautious.

They went out for research in batches, at irregular times.

To avoid exposing the specific location of that spaceship.

”Someone come!”

”Gather all the Gene Warriors.”

”First, form a warrior team to be the first to use life no. 1!”

”If there are no accidents, execute in batches!”

”Testing time, exactly one month!”

”Yes.”

...

Around mid-July, Jiang Chen arrived back at Zhujiang Port.

The underwater kangaroo did not experience any discomfort from moving from the southern latitude to the northern latitude.

On the contrary, under Jiang Chen’s feeding, it was lively and active.

Although it wasn’t like the Jindai Bird, which could speak, it was, after all, B-sequence, and could understand human nature.

It stood up curiously, looking around.

”Captain Jiang, Captain Wei, thank you for your hard work! Come on, brothers, let’s sing a song of gratitude for the two of them!”

Zhang Dayong, seeing the destroyer and the small fishing boat heading toward the military port, immediately spoke up on the radio to express his gratitude.

[pearl river 888, Weilong Destroyer, listen to me, thank you!]

Over the radio, the cargo ship crew’s unison song of praise also came through.

”...”

The small fishing boat accelerated and quickly entered the port.

”Captain Wei, I’m going to escort this kangaroo to Longke Academy, I’ll be off first!”

Jiang Chen escorted the underwater kangaroo and headed toward Longke Academy.

Underwater kangaroo ⊙﹏⊙: What exactly did I do wrong? Why are you escorting me!

Jiang Chen brought the underwater kangaroo back to Longke Academy.

Inside the academy, many people saw Jiang Chen bringing a kangaroo with its front limb cuffed, and they gathered around one after another.

”Holy crap, isn’t that a kangaroo? General Manager Jiang, did you steal this from Australia?”

Everyone was stunned.

Jiang Chen rolled his eyes: ”Where would Australia get an underwater kangaroo? How can you call it stealing? I caught this in the wild; it’s for research.”

”Call the person in charge of the biology laboratory over; I have a big treasure to show them.”

Soon.

Not only did the people from the biology laboratory come over, but even hundreds of experts from the chemistry laboratory and others also flocked over upon hearing the news.

”Jiang Chen, we were just looking for you. How did you give Shu Yin inspiration last time?”

”Exactly, you’re a mecha researcher, where did you get inspiration for serum? Some of us suspect you’re an alien and are preparing to...”

Jiang Chen hurriedly pushed the underwater kangaroo forward: ”Instead of studying me, you’d better study this kangaroo. I caught this kangaroo in the Banda Sea area; it can breathe underwater. There must be a major discovery!”

”A kangaroo that can breathe underwater? Did it grow fish gills?”

Everyone immediately focused their gaze on the kangaroo.

”Take it away, get it to the laboratory, and study it well!”

A group of researchers immediately stepped forward.

Underwater kangaroo o(╥﹏╥)o.

”Watch your handling, don’t kill it.”

Jiang Chen reminded.

Being able to extract the N+ Gene is the key; if it dies, it’s gone.

The underwater kangaroo had a resentful expression.

It seemed!

It also really wanted to sing a song of ”Listen to me, thank you.”
