Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

55: Chapter 55 Personal Evaluation: Not as good as the monitor lizard. The commander of the Weisheng Aircraft Carrier, Salman, was a noble Brahmin. He had a thick beard and a very smug expression on his face at this moment!

As the commanders of the only two aircraft carriers in the Clean & Sanitary Country, the competition between him and Amir had been ongoing.

Today, the Weisheng Aircraft Carrier under his command was the first to set sail!

This was enough to prove that he was a very excellent aircraft carrier commander.

”Kiran, hurry up and bring out the Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft that the base allocated to us!”

After sailing out into the open sea!

Salman was very happy and gave orders to his subordinates!

Half a month ago, the base had purchased more than 100 core components from eight different countries, finally cobbling together a globally unique early warning aircraft.

Then!

They issued a public statement, claiming they had independently developed an early warning aircraft with super combat power that even the Dragon Kingdom didn’t have, and named it the [Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft]!

Soon, an early warning aircraft rumbled out.

Salman looked at the departing Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft with great satisfaction. He asked Kiran beside him:

”Kiran, how do you think our Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft compares to the Dragon Kingdom’s Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft? Who has the advantage?”

Kiran was a Kshatriya. His surname was slightly lower than that of a Brahmin, but he was still of royal lineage.

Hearing Salman’s question, he offered his analysis.

”Our Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft has a large monitoring range, a high degree of automatic digitization, vast memory processing space, and can resist powerful electromagnetic interference.”

”As long as an enemy aircraft carrier appears within two hundred nautical miles, our Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft can issue an alert!”

”Allowing our carrier strike group to make very sufficient combat preparations!”

”In short, in my personal opinion, the Dragon Kingdom’s Shenglong is not as good as the Monitor Lizard!”

Kiran spoke eloquently, even supporting his claims with data.

But at the end, he still said very modestly that it was just his personal opinion.

Salman was very satisfied with what he heard and nodded!

”It seems we can discuss cooperation with the Dragon Kingdom next time.”

”I heard their Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft still has a few small advantages.”

”For example, its early warning radius can reach three hundred nautical miles, it can simultaneously identify and track 200 different targets in airspace below 30,000 meters, control 30 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets for joint operations, and has super endurance for all-weather patrolling...”

”Aside from those 98 advantages, the rest are all flaws. Naturally, it’s not as good as our Monitor Lizard.”

Kiran said, ”Yes! We can consider applying to the base to exchange research results with the Dragon Kingdom.”

”I hope the application is successful! Otherwise, it would be a huge regret for the Dragon Kingdom.”

Salman said very magnanimously!

As an excellent aircraft carrier commander, he naturally hoped his opponents would be as strong as he was.

Otherwise, what would be the point of campaigning?

Just as the two were discussing exchanging research results with the Dragon Kingdom, a subordinate suddenly rushed in looking flustered and reported nervously:

”This is bad, this is bad, Commander! One of our fighter jets has a power leak! Pilot No. 7 has been knocked unconscious by the electricity!”

”What!”

Salman was shocked.

This was a major aircraft accident.

The cost of training a pilot and building a fighter jet was at least a billion, if not billions.

Often, capturing an enemy pilot meant one could demand a huge ransom from the other side!

”Quickly use the anti-electricity devices!”

Salman shouted.

If this leak continued, he would be electrocuted to death too.

For a moment, figures scrambled across the aircraft carrier, quickly working to prevent the electrical leak from spreading.

As the power leaked, the engine room also stopped functioning.

The Weisheng Aircraft Carrier came to a halt in the middle of the sea.

Not long after!

The Ganjing Aircraft Carrier arrived late, finally catching up to the Weisheng.

Amir already knew that the Weisheng had a power leak, and he deliberately sent a radio message to Salman.

”Commander Salman, why have you stopped? Do you need our help?”

”Tell him the Weisheng doesn’t need it!”

Salman snorted coldly and cut off the other’s radio!

”Hahaha! This feels great! Is this the joy of a reversal!”

”Ganjing! Full speed ahead! Roar!”

Amir excitedly gave the order!

Leaving the Weisheng behind.

As the Ganjing rushed out of the sea area and headed toward the South Indian Ocean.

The Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft ahead of the Pterosaur Cruiser suddenly issued an alarm.

[Pterosaur Cruiser, this is Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft No. 1. I have detected an aircraft carrier formation three hundred and ninety nautical miles away.]

[According to data analysis, there is a 99% probability it is the Ganjing from the Clean & Sanitary Country.]

[Based on the opponent’s travel speed, the two sides will meet in about one hour near 80 degrees East longitude and 4 degrees North latitude!]

[Please prepare in advance!]

”Hmm? Encountering an aircraft carrier from the Clean & Sanitary Country?”

In the command room, Long Xi raised her eyebrows slightly after hearing the alert from the Shenglong Early Warning Aircraft.

This fleet didn’t have an aircraft carrier; it only had cruisers.

The captain of the Pterosaur Cruiser, however, looked calm!

”Don’t worry, Miss Long Xi. According to our intelligence, the actual combat power of the Ganjing and Weisheng is extremely weak, barely making the top ten. They only come out for show. Forget our carrier strike groups—even if they see our cruiser formation, they will choose to steer clear to avoid conflict.”

”Top ten? That doesn’t sound weak.”

Long Xi didn’t catch the implication at first.

The captain smiled slightly and added, ”Currently, only 11 countries in the world have aircraft carriers. We say they are ’top ten’ because they are ranked tenth.”

The one ranked first usually says they are the strongest in the world.

The one ranked second usually says they are TOP 2.

The one ranked third usually says they are in the top three.

Those further down all say they are world-class.

As for the Clean & Sanitary Country, because they were ranked tenth, they could only say ’top ten’.

”Oh! Right, there really aren’t many who own aircraft carriers globally right now.”

Long Xi slapped her forehead.

The top military technology in this world, just like the Gene Warriors, was basically only distributed among the leading major powers.

As for the middle and lower tiers, it was all amateur hour!

”This fishing boat is still too slow; it lacks power.”

Jiang Chen, driving the pearl river 888, could clearly feel the fishing boat’s lack of power after entering the ocean.

After sailing for half a day, it felt like he was still stuck in the same place.

If he didn’t have the Beidou Positioning System, he would have thought he hadn’t moved at all.

Slowly!

The pearl river 888 appeared within the field of vision of the Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft.

It quickly alerted Amir: [Ganjing, Ganjing, this is Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft. I have detected a Dragon Kingdom fishing boat over two hundred nautical miles away, coordinates 110 degrees East longitude, 50 degrees North latitude...]

”50 degrees North latitude?”

Amir was stunned.

Do you think I didn’t study middle school geography? Where would 40 degrees North latitude even be?

Is that even the damn ocean!

[Error correction in progress! Fishing boat coordinates: 100 degrees East longitude, 10 degrees North latitude!]

[Correcting again...]

Finally.

Ten minutes later.

The Monitor Lizard Early Warning Aircraft announced its 28th corrected coordinates: [83 degrees East longitude, 5 degrees North latitude.]

”Advance!”

”A mere Dragon Kingdom fishing boat dares to wander around in our sphere of influence!”

”Drive it away!!!”

Amir finally got the coordinates and quickly issued the order.

At the same time!

He had someone start a global live stream.

Preparing to let the citizens see the ’unexpected harvest’ of the aircraft carrier Ganjing.
