Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

78: Chapter 78 Maldives, the Oil PrinceUnknowingly...

The Dragon Cry carrier battle group had arrived in the area of the Maldives.

Vessels exiting the Strait of Malacca, as long as they were headed for Somalia, would inevitably pass through the waters near the Maldives.

Therefore,

the Maldives became a world-renowned tourist attraction.

As the Dragon Cry was about to pass the Maldives, Long Xiaotian also monitored the USS Lincoln to the northwest through the early warning aircraft.

However,

he was not heading for the Arabian Sea in the north this time, but to Somalia.

[pearl river 888, the carrier battle group is about to start speeding up, please be prepared.]

Long Xiaotian sent a radio message.

Having put away life no. 1 and started fishing again, Jiang Chen hesitated for a moment upon hearing the radio.

With the Maldives as the center, the Arabian Sea was to the northwest, Somalia to the west, the Equator to the south, and there were still many misty areas around that had not been explored.

After thinking for a bit!

He responded to Long Xiaotian.

[Reporting to the Commander, I plan to train the Robotic Birds and Cuihua in these waters. Requesting to leave the formation.]

Soon!

Long Xiaotian had an assault boat deliver a batch of shells and ammunition to him.

[Stay safe. If there is a problem, call the command room’s radio directly.]

[Many thanks, Commander!]

Jiang Chen accepted the ammunition.

He had used up a batch while chasing pirates earlier; it was time to replenish the magazine.

The carrier battle group began to accelerate westward, preparing to pass the Maldives and enter Somali waters.

Meanwhile, the pearl river 888 continued to sail leisurely.

...

Maldives!

A world-famous tourist destination.

Many people getting married, traveling, vacationing, or just looking to find themselves would choose to come to this beautiful island isolated overseas to enjoy a paradise-like happiness.

At this moment,

outside a seven-star hotel in the Maldives,

on a private beach,

a woman wearing a bikini, with a graceful figure but slightly bow-legged, was wearing sunglasses and sunbathing under a parasol.

The woman was Princess Yingya Waner from Japan.

She had been vacationing in the Maldives recently, enjoying the sunbathing to get a healthier tan.

Just then,

on the beach not far away, a man wearing colorful large shorts walked over.

Carrying two glasses of foreign liquor, he walked toward Princess Yingya Waner and greeted her in broken Japanese: ”Princess Yingya, long time no see.”

”Hmm?”

Princess Yingya Waner took off her sunglasses and frowned at him.

This was her private beach; how did someone dare to intrude?

She looked toward the entrance and found that her three private bodyguards had been blocked by over a dozen stronger bodyguards, looking at her somewhat helplessly.

”Mr. Prince Sharate, it’s not very polite of you to intrude on this beach uninvited, is it?”

Princess Yingya Waner put on a thin wrap and stood up dissatisfied.

This Prince Sharate was a crown prince from the Middle East whose family mined oil; with assets worth trillions of dollars, he held the title of Oil Prince.

However!

She didn’t lack money and was even less interested in the Middle East.

Therefore, she didn’t have much interest in this so-called Oil Prince.

Especially,

seeing him enter this beach uninvited made her frown slightly.

Prince Sharate handed over the liquor and said very gentlemanly,

”Princess Yingya, don’t be angry. I fell in love with you at first sight at the banquet. Please forgive my intrusion.”

”After all, this is all because you are too beautiful.”

Prince Sharate spoke the lines he had learned with deep emotion.

Supposedly Japanese women liked this kind of sweet talk, so he had learned it.

However!

Princess Yingya Waner’s frown deepened.

What the hell ”all because I’m too beautiful.”

So,

this is my fault?

What kind of stupid logic is that?

”No need to apologize, just leave. Otherwise, I’m calling security.”

Princess Yingya Waner said coldly.

Holding the liquor, Prince Sharate felt a bit awkward and said: ”Princess Yingya, don’t be so heartless.”

”What, do you want to start an international incident?”

Princess Yingya Waner glared at him fearlessly. He was just a Middle Eastern crown prince; she was at least the Princess of Japan, a symbol of the nation.

Prince Sharate chuckled: ”Princess Yingya, what are you saying? Our countries are friendly and cooperative; how could I want to start an international incident?”

”I came mainly to invite you to sit on my private yacht.”

”You won’t refuse even this small request, will you?”

Prince Sharate looked at Princess Yingya Waner expectantly.

He heard that women from East Asia liked persistent men; if he pestered her a bit longer, maybe he could move her.

”What’s so good about sitting on a yacht? I’m tired of them.”

Princess Yingya Waner shook her head.

She had even visited warships; what boat could compare to a warship?

Unless it was an aircraft carrier.

”Princess Yingya, my yacht is no ordinary yacht. It was designed according to warship specifications. Not only are the materials military-grade, but even the security force is planned according to a destroyer.”

”Look, those people are all my private security force on the yacht—mercenaries, retired soldiers, a total of 190 people, all equipped with firearms.”

”The yacht is also equipped with a powerful communication system, linked to the United States’ Global Positioning System, and can contact my country’s Ministry of Oceans warships at any time.”

”You could say the combat capability of my yacht is no less than that of a destroyer.”

Prince Sharate excitedly introduced the power of his private yacht to Princess Yingya Waner.

It had to be said,

compared to an ordinary person’s yacht, this Oil Prince’s yacht was indeed powerful.

99% of pirates would turn and flee upon seeing it.

”So what? I’m not interested in that.”

Princess Yingya Waner shook her head.

A woman who has seen the ocean can’t fall for a stream.

Back on the Oasis in the Strait of Malacca, just a glimpse of the Pterosaur Cruiser almost made her legs go weak.

That was what you call love at first sight.

Your modified armed yacht is nothing.

”Then may I ask, Princess Yingya, what are you interested in? I can do anything.”

”As a man with great strength, I believe I can do it.”

Prince Sharate said very indignantly.

”I’m interested in cruisers. I’m interested in aircraft carriers.”

”Come on, Mr. Powerful, get me one.”

Princess Yingya Waner looked at him playfully.

”...”

Prince Sharate’s confident smile vanished instantly.

Damn.

Only a few countries in the world have aircraft carriers; where am I supposed to get one?

That thing isn’t something you can get just by having money.

No matter how rich his family was, without the technology, they couldn’t build an aircraft carrier.

Even if they had the technology, they wouldn’t dare build one.

If they forced it, some permanent member of the ’hooligan’ nations might say they found laundry powder in his house...

Prince Sharate rubbed his nose and chuckled: ”I didn’t expect Princess Yingya to like aircraft carriers.”

”However, there are no aircraft carriers near the Maldives.”

”Don’t mention those two from the Clean & Sanitary Country; those are just two toys!”

”Either the fighter jets leak electricity, or they’ve eaten too much Masala, or the GPS is turned off by the United States.”

”Their combat power might not even be as good as my armed yacht!”
