Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

100: Chapter 100 N+ Genes, Shrimp Soldiers and Crab GeneralsThe news of Longke Academy extracting the N+ Gene from the underwater kangaroo soon reached the Dragon Group.

This gene, named N+, is a skin gene naturally carried by an ancient creature, and many of its gene encodings can actually perfectly match with humans.

However, humans currently do not possess this gene.

Considering moral and ethical issues, as well as the fact that its impact is far greater than the Life No. 1 Serum.

Therefore!

Longke Academy did not choose to make it public this time.

Instead, they began secret research.

And the Dragon Group, as the mysterious department with the most in-depth research on gene serums, genetic mutations, and supernatural creatures in the country, naturally had the authority to know.

Especially since Longke Academy had both released the life no. 1 and extracted the N+ Gene.

Commander Long Kui of the Dragon Group could no longer sit still.

”This is unscientific!”

”So many experts in biological gene research, including Gene Warriors, are distributed in the Dragon Group, so why haven’t we had any major breakthroughs on our side?”

”Yet Longke Academy has had one breakthrough after another?”

”The status of the Dragon Group’s number one person is somewhat precarious!”

Unable to restrain himself, Commander Long Kui rushed to Longke Academy overnight.

He demanded a meeting with Shu Yin, the person in charge of the biological laboratory, Jiang Chen, and Xia Zhongxun and others!

Longke Academy.

Inside the highest-level conference room.

The whole process was sealed off.

Outside, there were Gene Warriors strictly on guard.

The person in charge of the biological laboratory was playing a projector, explaining their laboratory’s preliminary understanding of the N+ Gene.

”On that underwater kangaroo, we did indeed discover a very peculiar gene.”

”According to the guidance and suggestions of General Manager Jiang, it is currently defined as the N+ Gene.”

”This gene allows the skin pores of that kangaroo to open freely and absorb oxygen from the ocean.”

”And its lungs have not degenerated either.”

”Therefore, this kangaroo is actually an amphibian; it has pores to breathe ocean oxygen and lungs to breathe terrestrial oxygen...”

”Moreover.”

”We did a gene encoding for this N+ Gene and found that it can perfectly fit human genes.”

”From the current theory, it can be embedded into humans.”

”Of course, we haven’t done relevant experiments yet because it involves ethical aspects.”

The person in charge finished the preliminary explanation.

Commander Long Kui looked at the series of experimental processes, data, and pictures on the projector and nodded secretly.

This is exactly what he wanted to know most when he came here.

”Ethical aspects can be passed sooner or later.”

”I came here mainly to ask if the Dragon Group can continue the research on this N+ Gene.”

Commander Long Kui stated his purpose.

Xia Zhongxun immediately objected upon hearing this: ”Little Long, you are not being kind here. It’s not like our Longke Academy doesn’t have the ability to continue. You are cutting in line way too fast.”

Although scientific research results are ultimately for the benefit of people, as the leader of the Longke Academy faction, Xia Zhongxun naturally has to protect the interests of Longke Academy’s researchers.

No matter how big the Dragon Group’s background is, they can’t just cut in line!

”Dean Xia has misunderstood.”

”I know about your huge breakthrough in genes, but in terms of gene sequences, you might really not be good at it.”

Commander Long Kui said.

The most powerful thing about the Dragon Group is actually the cultivation of Gene Warriors. And this is exactly what Longke Academy lacks. Longke Academy is more about experimental research, while the Dragon Group needs to promote and practice it.

”Gene sequences?” Jiang Chen didn’t have much of an opinion on who would study the N+ Gene, but he suddenly became interested in this term he hadn’t heard of.

Commander Long Kui smiled slightly and explained without being stingy: ”According to our Dragon Group’s research, gene sequences have high and low levels, and they are divided into categories.”

”According to the difference in level, it is mainly divided into A-sequence and B-sequence.”

”According to the different types, they are divided into metal, wood, water, fire, earth, ice, snow, thunder, electricity... There are about twenty-three types of genetic mutation sequences discovered so far.”

”They are all related to some natural elements.”

”And this N+ Gene, I personally speculate, may be related to the water element.”

”If we continue to study it, perhaps we can enrich the gene sequences.”

All along, genetic mutations related to the water element have been rare. There are only a few in the world. Currently, the Dragon Group only has one guy who used to be a fisherman who mutated fish gills. And one of his genes is related to the water element. But that gene of his does not match others and cannot be replicated. But this N+ Gene is different; it seems to naturally match humans. If it can be successfully promoted among Gene Warriors, then he will have a batch of underwater Gene Warriors.

Jiang Chen and the others were also shocked after hearing Commander Long Kui’s explanation.

Good heavens. Underwater Gene Warriors. Is this going to occupy the bottom of the Pacific Ocean?

”Your cultivation direction is too terrifying. Why don’t you just build a Dragon Palace? Are you trying to be the Dragon King?” Jiang Chen couldn’t help but say.

Commander Long Kui slammed the table suddenly. He looked at Jiang Chen with ecstasy, grabbed his shoulders and said,

”Those who know me! It is Jiang Chen!”

”That’s right!”

”I had already thought about the idea of building an underwater Dragon Palace!”

”Underwater detectors are too expensive, and only one can go down at a time.”

”If we combine it with the Carbon-9 Molecule to withstand the underwater pressure and build underwater buildings! Then combine it with underwater Gene Warriors, then building a Dragon Palace, why not!”

Commander Long Kui looked at Jiang Chen excitedly.

Good boy. My intestinal worm. Everything I wanted to do, you helped me say it. Support me quickly!

Jiang Chen looked confused.

Xia Zhongxun looked at him: ”So, you really want to be the Dragon King?”

Shu Yin listened to this group of people discussing, feeling increasingly strange, and scratched her head: ”See the Dragon King?”

Commander Long Kui laughed: ”The idea of building a Dragon Palace is just my thought. As for who will be the Dragon King, I think we can let the one who contributes the most be it.”

”Who do you think has the greatest contribution?”

Xia Zhongxun immediately pushed Jiang Chen out: ”Jiang Chen caught this kangaroo. Everything is difficult at the beginning. I think he has the greatest contribution.”

”Yes, the name was also given by General Manager Jiang.”

Little assistant Shu Yin naturally supported General Manager Jiang with both hands and feet.

The person in charge of the biological laboratory also said: ”Although the N+ Gene was extracted by our laboratory, the inspiration for extracting the N+ Gene was also told to me by General Manager Jiang. His contribution is huge!”

”Good, since you all at Longke Academy unanimously think Jiang Chen is qualified to be the Dragon King, then I support it too.”

”I just hope that His Majesty the Dragon King will support us Gene Warriors in doing research on the N+ aspect.”

Commander Long Kui smiled. Who is the Dragon King is not important. The important thing is to take the N+ Gene to the Dragon Group for research.

”Support, support. Since you all support me so much, I naturally support it too.”

Jiang Chen knew that Xia Zhongxun wanted him to act as an intermediary between Longke Academy and the Dragon Group. Not only to promote the N+ Gene, but also not to let the Dragon Group take all the credit. Longke Academy must at least have a name.

”By the way, can I divide the positions for the Gene Warriors?”

”For example, Shrimp Soldiers, Crab Generals, Turtle Chancellor, etc.?”

Jiang Chen asked again.

Since he has become the Dragon King of the future Dragon Palace, aren’t those cultivated Gene Warriors just Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals?
