Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

69: Chapter 69 Somalia, Three Aircraft CarriersInside the Black Palace.

The Lord of the Black Robe watched the enthusiastic questions from countless media outlets at the hearing, a satisfied smile appearing on his face.

”Capturing this UFO was a great move!”

It immediately captured the attention of the entire world.

This is the demeanor that the world’s number one hegemon should have.

He summoned Lawton and Dr. X.

He said to Lawton, very pleased.

”Lawton, I’ve given it some thought, and you are still useful. How about this: you are reinstated to your former position. Continue researching that UFO and try to dismantle all the secrets hidden within it. How does that sound?”

Lawton was overjoyed and hurriedly expressed his gratitude.

”Many thanks, Lord of the Black Robe. Also, the interior of that UFO is extremely classified. Relying solely on me might not lead to a thorough study; I will need Dr. X to help as well.”

Lawton secretly pushed Dr. X forward.

The Lord of the Black Robe glanced at Dr. X and said indifferently, ”Dr. SB, is it? I’ve heard of you. I heard you are very skilled in chemical materials, but do you also understand UFOs?”

”Dr. SB?”

Dr. X’s expression stiffened.

Lawton hurriedly corrected him, ”Lord of the Black Robe, it is X, Dr. X.”

”Very well, Dr. SB, do you really understand UFOs?”

The Lord of the Black Robe seemed a bit hard of hearing.

He couldn’t tell the difference between SB and X.

Lawton was a bit embarrassed and wanted to explain, but Dr. X waved his hand.

He said, ”No one understands UFOs better than I do.”

”Good! I appreciate your confidence.”

”Dr. SB, I have high hopes for you.”

The Lord of the Black Robe patted Dr. X on the shoulder and dismissed them.

Lawton followed Dr. X out of the Black Palace.

In the car.

Lawton said to Dr. X awkwardly, ”My apologies, Dr. X. The Lord of the Black Robe might be hard of hearing; I hope you don’t mind.”

”No, he is not hard of hearing. He is just intentionally trying to keep me in check on behalf of the people behind him.”

Dr. X said indifferently.

Lawton was stunned, ”The people behind him?”

”On this continent, there are quite a few superhumans of unknown sequences, and I am just one of them.”

”Since this Lord of the Black Robe can sit firmly in the Black Palace, he would have met with disaster long ago if he didn’t have some power supporting him.”

Dr. X’s expression was calm.

Lawton looked serious and hurriedly pledged his loyalty, ”I only pledge my loyalty to Dr. X!”

Dr. X nodded.

The two returned to the biochemical experimental base.

They were just about to continue researching the iron pillar.

Just then.

A subordinate rushed over to report.

”Dr. X, Rachel’s trail has been found!”

”Rachel?”

Ever since her last contact, Rachel had been completely untraceable.

At first, Dr. X thought she was lurking in the Dragon Kingdom and couldn’t respond.

It wasn’t until the silence period passed that he faintly sensed something was wrong, so he sent people to investigate.

He took the file and looked at it.

His expression changed instantly.

It showed that some time ago, near a remote private street in Singapore, a person who had been struck into a stick figure appeared.

At the time, the body could not be identified.

As Dr. X’s subordinates investigated further, it was basically confirmed that this was Rachel.

”Died from mysterious lightning?”

Dr. X frowned.

Lawton, standing by, was also horrified to see that Rachel, a quasi A-sequence, had been turned into a stick figure.

What kind of lightning could turn the Daughter of the Sun into a stick figure?

Such terrifying thunder and lightning.

”Lawton?”

”Yes?”

”Didn’t you say you have always been loyal to me?”

”Of course!”

Dr. X put down the file and looked at Lawton.

”So, would you like to become the next Son of... the Sun?”

”Huh?”

After a brief moment of shock, Lawton broke out in a cold sweat.

The previous Daughter of the Sun had already turned into a stick figure.

If he became the Son of the Sun, would he also...

”Well?”

”I, I need to think about it?”

”No, you have agreed.”

”No, no, no, Dr. X, ah, SB, you...”

Lawton was instantly engulfed by a ball of artificial flames.

He let out screams, sounds of pain, and curses.

Dr. X watched him coldly.

If he could survive, he would be the next Fire Man.

He would have gained another helper.

...

Inside the Black Palace.

As night fell.

A woman with a tail appeared in the office of the Lord of the Black Robe.

The door closed automatically.

”Lizard Queen, you are here!”

The Lord of the Black Robe stepped forward quickly, his expression respectful.

Over these years, he had been able to sit firmly in the Black Palace; aside from the support of wealthy families, he certainly could not have done it without the assistance of this mysterious Queen.

The Lizard Queen waved her hand, a green tail dragging lightly on the floor. She said, ”I have a mission; send someone to carry it out.”

”Speak, your Majesty!”

”Over in Somalia, I heard that some pirates obtained a material called Briman Stone. Send someone to investigate where it came from.”

The Lizard Queen said.

Briman Stone is one of the raw materials for the Sigma Gene Serum.

And the Sigma Gene Serum is the only serum that can mass-produce A-sequence Gene Warriors.

However.

This raw material, Briman Stone, is very rare.

Even she, after traveling all over North America, had not found a single trace of it.

But now.

She heard that some pirates had obtained some from somewhere.

Of course.

Those pirates had met with an untimely death.

She could not find the source now, so she prepared to have the Lord of the Black Robe send people to track it.

”I understand, Lizard Queen. Leave this matter to me.”

The Lord of the Black Robe hurriedly replied.

Although the Lizard Queen was powerful, when it came to intelligence, he still needed to send his people to track it.

”Hurry up. I am worried that if the source of this news spreads, it will attract the attention of those old fossils in Western Europe.”

The Lizard Queen urged.

”Rest assured, if those old fossils dare to come, I wouldn’t mind letting them taste the ship-borne missiles on the aircraft carriers!”

The Lord of the Black Robe’s eyes burned with intensity.

In the area of Somalia, there are two aircraft carriers from the United States, both equipped with the most advanced nuclear strike systems.

They can even track superhumans flying in the sky.

And while high-sequence superhumans possess extraordinary power, none have been found so far who can withstand nuclear weapons.

The only problem is that superhumans won’t face nuclear weapons head-on either.

Most of them are sneaky.

They cannot be tracked or located.

”Still, don’t be careless. Some time ago, the Dragon Cry from the Dragon Kingdom was wandering around Somalia, and it only returned to port in the last few days.”

”If their aircraft carrier comes in to get involved, and we only have two aircraft carriers, we might not be able to suppress the entire Somalia.”

The Lizard Queen shook her head.

What she wanted was absolute suppression.

The Lord of the Black Robe said immediately.

”Then let’s send the USS Lincoln from the Atlantic Ocean over as well.”

Currently, out of the United States’ ten aircraft carriers, one is in the Arctic Ocean.

Two are in the Atlantic Ocean.

Two are in the Pacific Ocean.

Two are in the Somalia and South Indian Ocean area.

The other three are around the Antarctic continent, keeping an eye on the Dragon God from the Dragon Kingdom.

Since the Lizard Queen has spoken, let’s mobilize one aircraft carrier from the Antarctic continent and send it over!
