The Catalog Level needed to be raised; the next level-up required a full two thousand Experience Points. Clearly, this was not something that could be reached in just three or five days.

Glancing at the changes in the Catalog, Su Pingʼs mind was hardly on this matter. He shouted directly, ”Gather!”

Over time, the wolf pack had become familiar with his commands. Before long, including Old Sha and Woodhead, close to thirty Forest Wolves of various sizes had gathered. Including Xiao Qing in Su Pingʼs arms, they were all present and accounted for.

Given that the Shared Connection ability was so remarkable, Su Ping naturally wanted to make good use of it. However, at present, he could only connect with fifteen wolves at a time. Clearly, these fifteen needed to be carefully selected.

His own Xiao Qing and Old Sha were certainly necessary. He also wanted to experiment whether Xiao Qingʼs Mutated Skills, Poison Vine Strangulation and Heart of the Poison Wood, could achieve a shared effect through the connection. As for the others, naturally, those with higher Talent should be chosen.

However, the main Skills to be trained were not Vine Strangling or Accelerated Growth, the Forest Wolvesʼ two main combat Skills. Instead, it was the seemingly less useful Sunlight Absorption. But in fact, this Skill was one of the main growth Skills for Forest Wolves. Its significance was extraordinary.

Soon, Su Ping had chosen the fifteen wolves with the best Talent, including Xiao Qing, Little One, and Old Sha. The method to train the Sunlight Absorption Skill was even simpler: fifteen Forest Wolves of various sizes basking in the blazing sun together! Then, they absorbed the Light Power from the sun.

The Forest Wolvesʼ Sunlight Absorption ability was very practical. It could accelerate a Forest Wolfʼs growth and reduce its need for food and water. Bask in the sun to improve? The fifteen connected Forest Wolves, including Old Sha, were puzzled. But they did not resist Su Pingʼs command in the slightest; all chose to obey.

However, a Forest Wolf standing by was somewhat baffled. Woodhead watched its Forest Wolf companions lying uniformly on the grass, basking in the sun, then looked at the stern-faced Su Ping. This top-tier Forest Wolf, born with a silver spoon in its mouth, looked skeptically at Su Ping.

Could it be that our master was really deceived by this guy? Could such a training method be effective? Could it help *me* become stronger? Was this Breeder really reliable? Although, it had to be said, living here with him was quite comfortable, happy, and satisfying.

However, such skepticism lasted only two hours before suddenly, a light shone forth. It was the mutated wolf, Xiao Qing, who had leveled up! She had advanced from an ordinary Fourth Rank to an ordinary Fifth Rank. Once again, she had reached the same Level as Su Ping.

But that wasnʼt all. Not only had her Level increased, but in just that short time, the sunlight converging on Xiao Qingʼs body had also become even more dazzling. Under the noontime sun, she shone like a glittering emerald. She was dazzling beyond compare!

Her Level has increased? How is that possible? Woodhead was green with envy. In such a short time, this mutated little wolfʼs Sunlight Absorption reached the Proficient Level? Although it felt this Skill wasnʼt very useful, only adding some endurance during daylight battles, Skill improvement, especially at later stages, was transformative! So this is how Forest Wolves grow?

As a Forest Wolf that had reached the peak Racial Potential of its kind, Woodhead was confused. In the past, its master had trained it through battles and Magic Potions. It had never experienced this before.

Could it be that this seemingly unreliable and weak human Beast Tamer was actually a genius?

Woodheadʼs limited thinking ability and meager wisdom plunged it into doubt regarding its life as a wolf and its master, Qin Xiaoxue. However, when it looked at Su Ping, its eyes grew brighter and brighter.

It understood that its future was definitely not limited to being just a Forest Wolf. Not to mention, Qin Xiaoxueʼs second Pet Beast—which Su Ping had never seen—was naturally growing with a Racial Potential far surpassing its own. But its current foundation would greatly influence its future development. This human could really make it far stronger!

And for some reason, Woodhead felt that Su Ping looked particularly agreeable today.

Ignoring Woodhead, who was off to one side, Su Ping looked at the changing Xiao Qing with undisguisable excitement!

It really worked! The Skill cultivation effect of Shared Connection was like a Skill cultivation accelerator! Although progressing from the Beginner to the Proficient Level for a Skill was something most Pet Beasts could achieve through natural growth and some practice, how long had it taken Xiao Qing?! Indeed, this ability had great potential!

Su Ping clenched his fist. Sure enough, in less than an hour, starting with Little One, several other Forest Wolves who were only at the Beginner Level of Sunlight Absorption had breakthroughs. Moreover, this breakthrough in ability was accompanied by a certain increase in their own Levels.

In less than half a day, under the enhancement of Shared Connection, Su Pingʼs wolf pack had significantly improved.

If he could maintain this rate of improvement, and especially as his own Realm continually increased, the more wolves that could share the connection, the easier it would be for all the Pet Beasts in his wolf pack to reach the Perfection Level in their Skills! And Su Ping believed that this day would not be too far off!

As he was contemplating this, the Forest Wolf Catalog provided feedback once more:

[Discovered adult Forest Wolf, intimacy has met the requirements, Catalog Level Experience +15!]

[This is an adult individual. For every subsequent day spent with it, Forest Wolf Catalog Experience +1!]

Su Ping was stunned. The intimacy of his entire wolf pack had already reached the standard. With Old Shaʼs help, these wolves had become like his closest kin. The only one whose intimacy hadnʼt met the requirement was Woodhead, who was off to one side.

Sure enough, when Su Ping looked over at Woodhead, the sense of closeness that emanated from it made him smile with satisfaction.

Indeed, even a Pet Beast contracted to someone else could meet the requirements. If thatʼs the case, the Skill training business he had been contemplating could actually be launched!

However, he had been delaying Qin Xiaoxue for so many days and had not given Woodhead the last bottle of the Heart of Woods Magic Potion. Wasnʼt it all for today?

Once Woodheadʼs intimacy reached the standard, it could take the Magic Potion, which would at least slightly increase his Catalog Level Experience. With that in mind, what was there to hesitate about?

Su Ping quickly went into the room and took out the ʼHeart of Woodsʼ Magic Potion from the refrigerator. Under Woodheadʼs surprised and expectant gaze, he slowly opened it.
