Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 951: Master and Disciple Effect

”Master, Iʼve brought you some food.” Nathan knocked while bringing a tray of food. After that talk, Vivian had been locking herself inside her hut.

Nathan couldnʼt help but hang his head low. He might have overdone it. He shouldnʼt have told her about it. At the same time, there was no way to lie to her if he planned to leave this continent. So, sooner or later, she would find out about it.

Telling her in advance would give her more time to process everything. And if she couldnʼt take care of herself, Nathan would be here for her.

After waiting for a while but getting no response, Nathan put down the tray while saying, ”Iʼm leaving the food in front of your door, so please eat it, Master.”

Nathan let out a sigh before walking away. While he was having a problem with his master, the others seemed to be solving their problems.

Alavenya had been working hard, especially with Xingtian. With the approval of her father, her fighting style had become more and more refined.

Of course, Nathan had to come by from time to time to heal her. However, Alavenya seemed to be preparing to form a lifebound contract.

The same applied to Selena, who was currently staying with her father in the Ashton family.

Noelle and Flora already made a lifebound contract, so after the trip, they simply took care of their own matters. Noelle was slightly frustrated because on the previous trip, she couldnʼt fully show her strength.

However, Duke Murmur kept bragging about how he did everything by himself due to his gryphon, which infuriated Noelle. In the end, both of them fought most of the time, refining their swordsmanship even further.

Meanwhile, Flora was focusing on strengthening her spirit, specifically evolving the remaining spirits by utilizing Nathanʼs contract.

She had been doing everything to gather the necessary items for them, but it would still take time for her to gather all of them. Nathan had told her to take her time since he planned to leave for the solo trip in ten days.

Last but not least, Sera. She was facing a huge problem.

Unlike Alavenya and Selena who had figured out what they wanted and which familiar would become their lifebound familiar, Sera was completely different.

She wondered if she should choose darkness or light. If she chose darkness, Asmodeus would definitely be happy, but Raphael would do anything to stop her, and vice versa.

That was why Asmodeus and Raphael argued, making her wonder which one was on the right path for her. In the end, she had to stop them from arguing and think about it properly before choosing a path.

Nathan observed them from afar before eventually reaching Elder Thompsonʼs workshop. This time, he didnʼt plan to ask him to make anything. The three weapons were already useful enough on the battlefield.

Instead, the real purpose of his visit was none other than a young girl called Iris.

*Bang!*

*Bang!*

Iris kept firing her sniper rifle, her aim becoming more and more accurate. It hadnʼt been long since she started training under him, but at this rate, no one among her peers could match her strength by the time she came to the academy.

However, there was something weird about Iris.

After not visiting her for a long time, Nathan noticed that the ena around her body had become much more developed.

This energy was supposed to be ripe in two years, so they were planning to send her to the academy when she was 15 years old.

Yet, for some reason, the energy from within her body had almost bloomed. It was as if someone ripped it open.

At this rate, it wouldnʼt take long for her to become a summoner.

”Master!” As soon as Iris noticed Nathanʼs arrival, she put down her weapon and bowed to him.

”Oh! How are you doing?” Nathan made a gentle smile while patting her head.

”Iʼm doing extremely well.”

”Is that so? Well, I can see that. Your ena…” Nathan paused for a moment, wondering if Charlotte had told her about it or not.

”Ah, yes!” Iris nodded furiously. ”Teacher Charlotte told me that my progression speed was something she had never seen before. At this rate, it would only take me a few months to be ready to become a full-fledged summoner.

”Although I donʼt know whatʼs going on, it doesnʼt seem to be a problem, according to Teacher Charlotte.”

”…” Nathan was speechless. There could only be one possible reason for this phenomenon. It was his luck.

As originally intended, making her his disciple allowed her to mature much faster.

”This happens only after you become my master. Thank you very much, Master!” Iris smiled. ”I donʼt know what youʼve done, but thank you for always taking care of me. I wish I could grow fast and help you in the future, Master. I will definitely not disappoint you as a summoner!”

Nathan smiled wryly. At this point, he couldnʼt help but wonder if Iris wasnʼt originally a summoner. But his luck changed her fate, turning her ordinary self into that of a potential summoner back when they first met.

Of course, there was no way he could confirm it. Either way, this was a good thing. If Iris could grow a bit more in the next one or two years, she should have no problem fighting on the front line. At the very least, the city would become much safer.

Nathan smiled and asked, ”In that case, how about we practice together?”

”!!!” Irisʼ eyes lit up. She never thought Nathan would have the time for her. After becoming his disciple, Iris had learned everything Nathan had done from Charlotte.

She understood how hard Nathan had been pushing himself, so she didnʼt intend to drag him down.

After all, everything she could achieve here was due to him bringing her out of that slum. He had changed her life.

”Is that… alright?” Iris asked, a bit hesitant. In the end, she didnʼt want to take a lot of Nathanʼs time.

”Of course, itʼs fine. You need to learn everything, starting from positioning to how to mess around with your enemy. Itʼs best if you can learn how to trash talk your enemy to mess with their focus.” Nathan grinned playfully.
