Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 267 Is the Dragon Kingdom not afraid of an energy crisis?Inside the command room of the Aerospace Carrier, the atmosphere was serious and orderly.

The person in charges from various areas stood tall with focused expressions!

At this moment, they were gathered in the command room, reporting on the status of the Aerospace Carrier to Su Chen one by one.

”Report, Chief Engineer Su, the energy sector is completely normal!”

”Report, Chief Engineer Su, the engine is completely normal!”

”Report, Chief Engineer Su, the temperature control facilities are completely normal!”

...

The Aerospace Carrier had already been at an altitude of ten thousand meters for quite some time.

During this period, the performance of all functions could be described as perfect!

Everything was flawlessly normal, and there were no abnormal fluctuations in the data.

It was like a precise mechanical beast, methodically fulfilling its mission.

General Zhao Yong looked at Su Chen with excitement; his weathered yet still bright eyes sparkled with irrepressible exhilaration!

His lips trembled slightly, as if he wanted to say something but was a bit nervous, and it took a while before he spoke: ”Little Su, does this mean...”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was also looking at Su Chen with full anticipation!

His eyes revealed eagerness and longing, and his body leaned forward slightly, unconsciously!

It was as if he was afraid of missing every word Su Chen was about to say.

Before General Zhao Yong could finish his sentence, he saw Su Chen flash a confident and gratified smile at him and Commander Liu Chengzhi, then nod vigorously and say: ”Yes!”

”This means that our Aerospace Carrier is operating perfectly within the planet!”

”Once our Eternal Day Project is implemented, we can proceed to start the extra-planetary testing of the Aerospace Carrier!” His voice was steady and powerful, yet it could not hide his excitement and pride.

Upon hearing this, Commander Liu Chengzhi was so excited that his face flushed red, and his voice raised a few notches as he said: ”Then isn’t that very soon?”

”Isn’t it said that the Eternal Day Project is going to be implemented today?”

His eyes were full of longing.

It was as if he had already seen the spectacular sight of the Aerospace Carrier shuttling through the vast universe.

Su Chen nodded again and replied with a firm tone: ”That’s right! To be exact, it is about to be implemented immediately!”

As he spoke, his gaze turned to General Zhao Yong, and he said solemnly: ”General Zhao Yong, I am now handing over the command of the carrier to you. I need to go to the ground! Next, we will demonstrate our matrix power generation network!”

He knew very well that at this moment, the eyes of the whole world were focused on the Aerospace Carrier through various channels!

This was undoubtedly an excellent opportunity to promote the Eternal Day Project, and it must not be missed!

It must be made clear to the whole world that the Dragon Kingdom is about to have a major breakthrough in the energy field!

It will be a cheap and easy-to-use form of energy, and in the current global energy crisis, this energy developed in-house will definitely be unprecedentedly popular; the significance of this is self-evident.

Without any hesitation, Su Chen immediately walked quickly to the return capsule.

After entering the return capsule, he skillfully and quickly set the return route, and as a series of operations were completed!

With a ”whoosh” sound!

The return capsule, like an arrow released from a bowstring, shot out violently and sped towards the ground, disappearing from everyone’s sight in the blink of an eye.

...

On the Aerospace Carrier, Elder Qin was standing calmly in a place with a wide view!

Meanwhile, the US Secretary of State was accompanying him, looking slightly uneasy.

While it was called a friendly chat, it was actually more like Elder Qin was quietly displaying the prowess of a great power!

Every subtle movement, every seemingly casual word, contained the confidence and majesty of the Dragon Kingdom.

The neat and mighty figures of the Space Mecha Legion, the powerful deterrence exuded by hundreds of Electromagnetic Naval Guns, and the shocking act that almost nuked Japan—all these things were observed without omission by the US Secretary of State.

At this moment, the Secretary of State’s heart was completely numb!

The shock brought to him by the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier was simply too great, like surging waves crashing against his psychological defenses wave after wave, making him terrified to the extreme.

He asked himself over and over in his heart: ”If they were to go to war with the Dragon Kingdom now, could his own country withstand it?”

However, every time he sought an answer in his heart, the result he obtained made him feel incomparably helpless!

The confidence that was originally full was like a castle on the beach, constantly collapsing under the washing of the tide, until it vanished into nothingness.

However, right in the midst of this extreme shock and self-doubt, the experience of studying at the military academy suddenly flashed through his mind.

At that time, the teacher stood in front of the blackboard, solemnly and earnestly emphasizing repeatedly that they should learn a kind of fighting spirit!

That spirit was that even when facing a situation where the enemy was numerous and they were few, even if the gap in weapons was despairingly large, one must never give up resistance.

One must be like the soldiers of a certain country, even if they only had millet and rifles in their hands, even without air support or powerful artillery, they could still be invincible by relying on tenacious will and fearless courage.

And the ”certain country” that the teacher asked them to learn from at that time was the Dragon Kingdom!

But now that he thought about it, the Dragon Kingdom was the originator of this fighting spirit; you might be able to barely learn and imitate it, but if you want to surpass it, that is probably an impossible thing.

What’s more, the current Dragon Kingdom is no longer what it used to be.

The former Dragon Kingdom relied on the spirit of indomitability and self-improvement as an invisible weapon of attack; even simple millet and rifles in their hands could exert powerful combat effectiveness, making enemies dare not underestimate them.

Today’s Dragon Kingdom has not only perfectly inherited that high-spirited fighting spirit without losing a bit, but also possesses such powerful and advanced weapons to arm itself; this is truly cultivating both internal and external strength, like a tiger with wings!

Thinking of this, he felt more and more that facing such an enemy, wanting to win was simply a fantasy.

That deep sense of powerlessness gave him the feeling of his conviction collapsing, as if the beliefs and pride he had always held onto had become vulnerable.

Now, facing Elder Qin, he no longer had the arrogance he had before, and he had become exceptionally docile and polite, as if he had changed into a different person.

Standing beside Elder Qin, his posture and expression were exactly like a subordinate, and it even made people feel that there was a hint of humbleness.

However, he did not forget his mission; he did not directly surrender to the Dragon Kingdom, but calculated in his heart, trying to find a breakthrough from other aspects.

So, he began to inquire about the Dragon Kingdom’s energy situation intentionally or unintentionally.

He pondered to himself that although the Dragon Kingdom’s Aerospace Carrier looked mighty and extremely deterrent, the prerequisite was that this big guy had to have energy support!

If there was no sufficient energy, it was just an iron lump with nothing but appearance; it couldn’t fly at all.

If it couldn’t fly, then no matter how powerful it was, what was the use?

The more he thought, the more he felt how necessary the energy plan his country had formulated was, but it was a pity that the progress seemed to have not been very smooth.

He looked at Elder Qin, scanned the huge Aerospace Carrier, and then deliberately asked in a curious tone: ”Mr. Qin, the energy consumption of such a terrifying big guy like the Aerospace Carrier must be unimaginable, right!”

”Your country is currently deep in an energy crisis, can you still hold on?”

Speaking of this, his eyes rolled, and a plan suddenly came to his mind.

He felt that he had found an entry point to negotiate with the Dragon Kingdom, so he immediately put on a seemingly sincere smile and said with a chuckle: ”It just so happens that our country has reserved a lot of energy. Why don’t we help your country solve the energy crisis, and in exchange for your country’s Aerospace Carrier manufacturing technology... What do you think of this proposal!”

In his view, he had come up with a win-win solution that could help the Dragon Kingdom solve the current tricky energy problem, allow the Dragon Kingdom to be prosperous and peaceful, stabilize the domestic situation that was slightly chaotic due to the energy crisis, and also allow his own country to obtain the dream of Aerospace Carrier manufacturing technology; it was simply killing two birds with one stone.

However, this proposal fell into Elder Qin’s ears, but he only felt it was incredibly ridiculous.

Elder Qin just looked at him with a smile, his eyes full of irony, as if he had seen through his little thoughts at a glance.

This silent response made the Secretary of State feel his face burning immediately; he wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into immediately, feeling so embarrassed that he wanted to disappear from here immediately.

He also realized that he seemed to be a bit anxious; this proposal was indeed a bit abrupt, but he still felt in his heart that his idea was not wrong!

Wasn’t the Dragon Kingdom currently struggling in an energy crisis?

This was clearly a win-win solution, or was it... that the Dragon Kingdom was not afraid of the energy crisis breaking out at all?
