Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 230: Breakthrough in Room Temperature Superconductivity? The Secretary of State prepared to explain his idea in detail, the smug smile on his lips never fading.

He looked intensely at the high-ranking officials of the USA, his eyes revealing an excitement that was hard to conceal.

”What do you all think, if we were to announce in advance that Dragon Kingdom is using Room-temperature superconductivity materials for power transmission, would it be a blow to Dragon Kingdom?”

The Secretary of State’s voice echoed in the conference room, each word like a pebble thrown into water, instantly stirring up waves in everyone’s hearts.

Upon hearing his words, the group was taken aback, then froze, as if struck by a paralysis spell.

But soon, they reacted, a glimmer of pleasant surprise flashing in their eyes.

”This is Dragon Kingdom’s secret! If we leak it, it will definitely be a blow to them!”

Someone shouted excitedly, their voice cracking from the thrill!

”By then, the whole world will probably be in an uproar. They actually conquered Room-temperature superconductivity and are even using this technology to build a power grid!”

”Once this news gets out, it will be like an atomic bomb exploding; the sensation it causes will be absolutely beyond imagination!”

”Most importantly, Dragon Kingdom is actually making a fortune in silence and not sharing such advanced technology with us globally. This is too selfish!”

”Maybe we can even use global public opinion to force them to share the technology with us!”

Another person added, eyes flashing with greed, as if they had already envisioned the scene where Dragon Kingdom, under the pressure of global public opinion, was forced to hand over the Room-temperature superconductivity technology.

”Forget about sharing, the main thing is that I’ll be happy just to see them get frustrated!”

”Haha, this Dragon Kingdom always makes us unhappy; this time, it’s time to let them taste some bitterness.”

Others chimed in, gloating on the sidelines.

Everyone expressed great support for the Secretary of State’s idea.

And this was not the extent of the Secretary of State’s plan. He paused briefly, a glint of cunning flashing in his eyes, and then continued:

”Not only that, aren’t they planning to close their borders around the Spring Festival?”

”We will schedule a state visit right at that time and see what they do.”

”That’s a good idea too!” someone responded immediately!

”Dragon Kingdom will definitely be conflicted then: should they continue with their plan to close the borders, or reject our visit!”

At this moment, President Biden, who had been sitting in the main seat deep in thought, frowned slightly and said uncertainly:

”What if Dragon Kingdom rejects our state visit?”

”This isn’t a joke. If they don’t give us face, we’ll be left in an awkward position.”

The Secretary of State waved his hand confidently and said:

”They won’t!”

”Even if they want to go to war with us, exchanges before the war can allow them to probe each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Dragon Kingdom won’t easily give up such an opportunity.”

Everyone nodded after hearing the Secretary of State’s analysis.

After careful consideration, they decided to proceed according to the Secretary of State’s plan!

Just thinking about how they could severely disgust Dragon Kingdom next made them feel immensely happy. The emotions that had been suppressed for so long seemed to have found an outlet, and everyone was immersed in the excitement of being about to cause trouble for Dragon Kingdom.

...

United Assembly.

The joint meeting was held under the chairmanship of the USA.

Usually, the central hall of the joint meeting was packed with people, with representatives from various countries bustling about, extremely lively.

However, the situation this time was somewhat different; the meeting venue was noticeably much quieter, with about 20% to 30% of countries not in attendance!

This made the atmosphere of the entire venue seem a bit strange.

Representative Gu Chuanwen attended the meeting with a calm expression. He was dressed in a crisp suit, his steps steady and powerful, each step exuding the composure and confidence of a representative from a great power.

The nearby Bear Representative looked at the slightly empty venue, couldn’t help but be puzzled, leaned in close to Representative Gu Chuanwen, and whispered:

”Why does it feel like there are fewer representatives attending the assembly this time?”

”This isn’t very normal; this kind of situation hasn’t happened before.”

Representative Gu Chuanwen said in a calm tone: ”It should be related to the energy crisis!”

”I heard that quite a few countries have gone bankrupt due to the impact of the energy crisis!”

”Although on the surface no one knows who caused the energy crisis, all countries actually know it in their hearts; it definitely has something to do with the USA!”

”These bankrupt small countries also have their tempers; they directly refused to attend this meeting!”

”Anyway, they are just some small countries, and the USA doesn’t care.”

His voice wasn’t loud, but every word clearly reached the ears of the Bear Representative, making him nod slightly.

The meeting officially began. The USA Representative slowly walked onto the stage, a seemingly friendly smile on his face, and said to the representatives of various countries below:

”Hello everyone!”

”Today I have prepared a piece of good news that I want to share with everyone. This news concerns all of humanity and is a good thing of great significance to us.”

His words immediately sparked a heated discussion below the stage, the buzzing sound like a swarm of bees.

The Bear Representative snorted disdainfully and whispered to Representative Gu Chuanwen:

”Would the USA tell us if they had good news? Unless they are the biggest beneficiary, anyone who believes their nonsense is their pawn.”

Representative Gu Chuanwen didn’t speak, but just raised his eyebrows slightly. He was actually quite interested in the ”good news” from the USA Representative and wanted to see what they were really up to.

The USA Representative looked at the people discussing heatedly below the stage, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned. The louder their discussion, the more excited he became, just like a magician performing, enjoying the expectant gazes of the audience.

Once the commotion in the venue quieted down a little, the USA Representative then continued: ”

This good news is that we have achieved a breakthrough in Room-temperature superconductivity technology!”

As soon as these words were spoken, the previously noisy venue immediately fell silent, as if time had stopped at that moment.

The representatives of various countries widened their eyes, faces full of disbelief, their gazes fixed on the USA Representative on the stage.

The USA Representative continued: ”To prevent some people from not understanding this technology, please look at the big screen!”

As he spoke, he gestured for everyone to look at the big screen.

The screen displayed dense text and images, detailing Room-temperature superconductivity technology and its related application scenarios.

In the energy field, it can be used for power transmission to save electricity, enable energy storage, and can also be applied to Nuclear Fusion devices, which means that energy utilization efficiency will be greatly improved, and energy problems may be fundamentally solved.

In the transportation field, maglev trains, superconducting maglev trains, aircraft, etc., will all usher in revolutionary breakthroughs because of Room-temperature superconductivity technology, and their speed and performance will far exceed current levels.

In the communication field, it can also enable quantum communication, and the speed and security of information transmission will reach a whole new level.

Watching the USA Representative’s introduction, the representatives of various countries below exclaimed in surprise, every person’s face filled with shock and envy.

”Is Room-temperature superconductivity that powerful? This is simply technology from the future!”

”As expected of the USA, they actually managed to research this technology!”

Representative Gu Chuanwen frowned slightly and looked at his team. They exchanged glances and didn’t speak, but their hearts were full of suspicion regarding the USA’s claims.

The Bear Representative widened his eyes in shock!

Obviously, he was familiar with the difficulty of Room-temperature superconductivity technology. Hearing those words from the USA Representative, he was the first to lose his composure and couldn’t help but blurt out:

”Isn’t Room-temperature superconductivity very difficult to achieve?”

”The USA actually succeeded?”

”This... how is this possible?”

”Representative Gu, aren’t you surprised?”

”Say something!”

A trace of doubt and unease showed in the Bear Representative’s eyes.
