Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 205 Cold fusion is more than just a conjecture!Within the vast and busy area of the Longhang Shipyard, there was an exceptionally eye-catching test site.

At this moment, the completed Aerospace Carrier stood there silently, like a steel fortress, exuding an awe-inspiring aura.

Its magnificent exterior shimmered with a metallic luster under the sunlight, as if declaring to the world the arrival of a technological revolution.

The Aerospace Carrier was immense in size.

To maximize work efficiency while ensuring the smooth progress of subsequent testing, the design team had carefully deliberated from the very beginning of construction, ingeniously overlapping the test area with the construction site.

In this way, the moment the Aerospace Carrier was completed, it could seamlessly transition into the testing phase, like a warrior ready to step onto the battlefield, needing no extra preparation and ready to demonstrate its strength at any time.

Looking at the completed Aerospace Carrier before them, everyone present could not help but feel extremely excited.

Excitement and pride shone in everyone’s eyes, as if they were seeing not just a massive aircraft, but a brilliant crystallization of future technology.

The exterior design of the Aerospace Carrier was full of a sense of technology; its sleek lines outlined a unique silhouette, as if it were a product from a future world.

The various advanced equipment and devices it was equipped with shimmered with a mysterious light under the sun, leaving people captivated.

Its massive size gave people an unparalleled sense of shock, as if it could break through all constraints, soar between heaven and earth, explore the unknown universe, and even conquer it!

The researchers involved in building the Aerospace Carrier felt a complex mix of emotions at this moment, filled with deep reflection.

To create this great crystallization of technology, they had made efforts and sacrifices unimaginable to ordinary people.

Just like the researchers who dedicated themselves to the creation of Nuclear Weapons back in the day, they shouldered the nation’s mission and responsibility, and for the sake of confidentiality, had to hide their work content and progress from their families.

This led to many problems in their families; long periods of separation and unspeakable secrets caused misunderstandings and rifts between family members, and left them physically and mentally exhausted.

However, when they saw the Aerospace Carrier before them, which embodied their countless efforts and sweat, they felt that all the suffering and exhaustion they had endured had become incredibly worthwhile.

It was a sense of satisfaction from seeing their persistent pursuit of a dream rewarded, and a sense of pride in contributing to the country’s scientific and technological cause.

The person in charge stood before the Aerospace Carrier, tears of excitement involuntarily welling up in his eyes.

He gazed at this achievement that he and his team had struggled for day and night, his emotions as turbulent and difficult to calm as a surging sea.

General Zhao Yong looked at the Aerospace Carrier before him, equally deeply shocked.

He could not help but exclaim: ”Su Chen, that kid, really has talent! To actually design such an awesome thing.”

”If this were exposed to the whole world, it would scare other countries to death!”

”Especially the US, they would definitely be shocked out of their minds.”

”Hahaha, I’m really looking forward to seeing how they react!”

General Zhao Yong’s words were filled with admiration for Su Chen and anticipation for the future influence of the Aerospace Carrier.

However, General Zhao Yong also realized a realistic problem, and he frowned as he said:

”This thing is our trump card; it cannot be exposed easily.”

”But with such a massive size, it’s going to be hard not to expose it!”

”This really is a problem. When Su Chen arrives, I must ask him if he has any solutions!”

At this moment, the person in charge was already impatient to start the testing work, and he looked at General Zhao Yong eagerly, saying:

”Why don’t we start the testing immediately? We can’t wait any longer.”

General Zhao Yong waved his hand and said:

”If it’s just us, who will be in command?”

”This is no small matter; we must have someone experienced and capable to oversee the whole situation.”

The person in charge was stunned for a moment. Can’t General Zhao do it himself?

Wait...

The person in charge asked tentatively:

”General, do you want me to...”

General Zhao Yong laughed and scolded: ”Get lost, you’re even less qualified than I am.”

The person in charge chuckled: ”That’s what I thought.”

The person in charge suddenly realized something and slapped his forehead, saying:

”Chief Engineer Su! Oh my, look at my brain; when it comes to being in command, it definitely has to be our Chief Engineer Su!”

”Let’s quickly call Chief Engineer Su and have him come over.”

”Now that all the work is finished, we are just waiting for him to come and direct the testing work.”

General Zhao Yong nodded and said: ”Don’t be impatient, I’ll have someone call him right now!”

Obviously, the person he had in mind who could take command was also Su Chen!

...

Eternal Day Project construction site.

As soon as Su Chen’s figure appeared, it immediately caused a small commotion.

A group of experts quickly swarmed toward him like a tide; their eager appearance would lead those who didn’t know better to think they were racing against time to report important work!

In fact, the Eternal Day Project had already entered its final phase, with most of the main work completed. There wasn’t really much left for these experts to handle, and they had mostly been in a relatively relaxed state before this.

However, all the changes stemmed from a conversation between Professor Mai Zhenzhe and Su Chen a few days ago.

A few days earlier, the two were communicating as usual!

Perhaps Professor Mai Zhenzhe had a sudden burst of inspiration, or perhaps his long-standing thoughts had found an outlet at that moment!

On a whim, he suddenly brought up a certain conjecture.

This conjecture was not an ordinary idea, but the Cold Nuclear Fusion conjecture, which was highly controversial yet full of infinite charm in the scientific community.

In the field of traditional Nuclear Fusion, scientists knew well that achieving Nuclear Fusion required extremely high temperatures and pressure.

This is because atomic nuclei all carry a positive charge, and there is a powerful Coulomb repulsion between them. Only under extreme conditions can this repulsion be overcome, allowing the atomic nuclei to fuse together and release enormous energy.

However, the introduction of the concept of Cold Nuclear Fusion was like a boulder thrown into the calm lake of the scientific community, stirring up a thousand waves.

It boldly envisioned achieving Nuclear Fusion under relatively low temperatures (far below the temperatures required for conventional Nuclear Fusion) and normal pressure, which was undoubtedly a huge challenge to traditional theory.

Looking back to 1989, Fleischmann and Pons claimed to have observed the ”Cold Nuclear Fusion” phenomenon in an experiment involving the electrolysis of heavy water.

They used palladium electrodes to electrolyze heavy water and were pleasantly surprised to find that the experimental setup produced abnormal heat, and they detected small amounts of neutrons and helium-4, which might be products of Nuclear Fusion.

This news exploded in the scientific community like a thunderclap, instantly attracting the attention of scientists worldwide.

However, subsequent developments were full of twists and turns; many research teams tried to repeat this experiment, but the results were uneven.

Some experiments seemed to observe weak abnormal phenomena, as if seeing a glimmer of hope in the darkness.

While others found absolutely no evidence to support Cold Nuclear Fusion, which left people deeply confused once again.

Until now, Cold Nuclear Fusion has still not been widely recognized as a real physical phenomenon.

The key reason is that there is currently no universally accepted theory in the scientific community that can clearly explain how atomic nuclei overcome the massive Coulomb repulsion to fuse under such mild conditions.

When Professor Mai Zhenzhe mentioned this conjecture, Su Chen just smiled calmly:

”Cold Nuclear Fusion is not just a conjecture!”

”In fact, we have already turned this conjecture into reality!”

”Even...”

”Earlier than ordinary Nuclear Fusion reaction technology!”
