Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 202 What a load of bull!”What the hell is good news!”

Smith shouted with some agitation, ”Professor David, do not try to define Room-temperature superconductivity with something like human progress!”

”You are not just a human; you are also a scientist for our Eagle Nation!”

”If the Dragon Nation really manages to develop Room-temperature superconductivity, this is definitely not good news for us!”

The rapid development of Dragon Nation’s technology made Smith feel extremely frustrated; his face was full of anxiety and unease.

David, however, retorted unconvinced, ”I firmly believe that the Dragon Nation developing Room-temperature superconductivity materials is good news for humanity!”

”It can promote human progress and drive future development!”

”It will allow us to experience more and witness more within our limited lifespans!”

Clearly, David was also a fanatical supporter of technology!

In his heart, technology had no borders; it was this damn politics that restricted the development of technology!

If scientists from all countries could gather together to conduct research, humanity might have already achieved a technological explosion!

Space colonization and conquering outer space would not be a dream!

Just as the two were arguing fiercely, a burst of hurried footsteps sounded outside.

The two turned their heads to look and discovered that the person coming was Professor Hillar.

This was a scientist around sixty years old, but he looked very robust!

Because he paid great attention to maintenance, although he was over sixty, he looked like he was only around forty!

Smith hurriedly greeted him, wanting to introduce the situation to him, but was directly ignored by Hillar.

Hillar’s gaze turned eagerly toward David, and he said, ”Where is the Room-temperature superconductivity material you mentioned?”

”It is right inside the Laboratory, Teacher.” David immediately came forward!

For this renowned teacher, he felt respect from the bottom of his heart.

Hearing David’s answer, Hillar quickly put on a white disposable lab coat!

He strode towards the table where the small section of cable was placed.

Seeing the material in front of him, Hillar frowned, immediately revealing an inexplicable look of surprise.

It seemed there was something that made him feel incredulous!

However, he did not ask more questions, but threw himself wholeheartedly into the testing work.

First was the basic physical test of the material.

He carefully measured the density of the cable, using high-precision instruments to perform multiple measurements to ensure the accuracy of the data.

Every data reading was extremely cautious; his eyes were focused and firm.

After repeated measurements and calculations, the density results showed no problems.

Next, he proceeded with thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry, among other analyses.

Hillar placed the material into a professional thermal analysis instrument, set the program, and carefully observed the curve changes displayed on the instrument screen.

As the temperature rose or fell, the instrument recorded the material’s thermal stability, phase transition temperature, and other thermal properties during the heating or cooling process.

He observed while recording data, occasionally comparing it with past experimental data and theoretical values.

After a long period of analysis, the results indicated that there were no problems with the material’s thermal properties.

Next was the electrical performance test, which was one of the key steps in verifying superconducting materials.

Hillar connected the complex circuits, plugged the cable into the test system, and adjusted the current and voltage parameters.

His eyes were fixed on the pointers of the ammeter and voltmeter; as the current gradually increased, his heart leaped into his throat.

When the current reached a certain level, he was surprised to find that the resistance actually approached zero, and the data was very stable.

This result made him gasp; he knew this was an important characteristic of superconducting materials, but such perfect zero-resistance performance still left him feeling shocked.

Then came the magnetic levitation test; Hillar brought a strong magnet close to the cable.

A magical scene occurred: the cable seemed to be lifted by a mysterious force, steadily levitating in the magnetic field.

This meant that the material had good superconducting properties and diamagnetism, further proving that it might be a Room-temperature superconductivity material.

Hillar observed this phenomenon excitedly, with an excited glow flickering in his eyes.

Finally, stability and repeatability tests were conducted.

Hillar tested the cable multiple times under different conditions, including changes in factors such as temperature and magnetic field strength.

He discovered that no matter how the environment changed, the material’s superconducting performance remained stable, and the results of each test had a high degree of repeatability.

This result gave him an extremely high evaluation of the material’s reliability, far exceeding any superconducting material currently known to Hillar.

Hillar was incredibly surprised; he held the test data in his hand, his mouth slightly agape, unable to close it for a long time.

Seeing his expression, David asked eagerly, ”This is indeed a Room-temperature superconductivity material, right, Teacher!”

Hillar held the cable in his palm; at this moment, his hand seemed to be trembling.

Under the nervous gazes of David and Smith, Hillar slowly nodded and indicated, ”This is indeed a Room-temperature superconductivity material.”

”It is the exact Room-temperature superconductivity material that my team has been struggling to develop but never achieved a breakthrough in!”

”I thought I would never see it in my lifetime, but now, it is... Hahaha, God, you have finally opened your eyes!”

Compared to Hillar’s excitement, Smith was on the verge of a breakdown, his eyes flickering, saying nothing.

His heart was filled with shock and helplessness; even Hillar, this big shot in materials science, confirmed that this was a Room-temperature superconductivity material, so it could almost be concluded that this was undoubtedly a Room-temperature superconductivity material.

The Dragon Nation actually really developed Room-temperature superconductivity materials; how on earth did they do it?

He hadn’t leaked any blueprints regarding Room-temperature superconductivity materials either; how did they manage to research it?

Eh? Wait, what is going on, it feels like I am the spy?

I am the intelligence chief of the Eagle Nation!

How could I be a spy?

Although he had indeed accidentally facilitated the Dragon Nation’s technological explosion before, that was because they had the capability!

He was definitely not a spy!!!!

While Smith was still comforting himself, Hillar had already recovered from his surprise.

He looked at David and said, ”David, you really make me proud.”

”Among my group of students, I have always believed that you are the most talented one.”

”Today, you certainly did not disappoint me!”

David felt a bit embarrassed by his teacher’s praise; on the face of a man in his forties, a trace of shyness appeared.

One must know that their teacher was always serious and rarely praised anyone, especially his own students.

Moreover, he had previously despised him for being stupid, once saying he was the dumbest among his students!

David was still a bit puzzled as to why his teacher was praising him for no reason.

Soon he figured it out and hurriedly explained, ”Teacher, this Room-temperature superconductivity material was not manufactured by our team.”

Hillar frowned, then suddenly realized, and said, ”I knew it; you kid is so stupid, how could you develop Room-temperature superconductivity.”

David was obviously used to his teacher’s way of speaking and did not mind.

Hillar then asked, ”Then which team developed it? It really is surprising!”

David stated, ”It is not a team from our country; it was researched by the Dragon Nation!”

Hillar was stunned, turned to look at David, his eyes wide as saucers, and said in surprise, ”The Dragon Nation? The Dragon Nation is capable of developing Room-temperature superconductivity? You must be joking!”

Smith explained, ”This cable was obtained from the Dragon Nation by our spy.”

”What, this thing is still a cable?”

Hillar was completely shocked; he had thought this thing looked like a cable at first, but didn’t think much of it.

After all, applying Room-temperature superconductivity material before it had even been released was simply a fantasy to them!

It was equivalent to a newborn baby already knowing how to run errands.

At this moment, hearing Smith’s words, Hillar completely lost his composure.

He realized that the Dragon Nation had not only developed Room-temperature superconductivity technology, but had also quickly implemented its application.

And there were only two possibilities: either they had developed Room-temperature superconductivity technology long ago!

Or their applied research, like their theoretical research, had surpassed his own country... It was truly the global top!
