Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 219 I’m still being conservative!Commander Liu Chengzhi subconsciously looked up and saw a massive Space Mecha appear in his line of sight.

Its massive body was like a flying small fortress, exuding a powerful sense of oppression.

Commander Liu Chengzhi was deeply shocked by this spectacular scene, and he nodded!

No wonder the base had to be built in the mountains; such a huge guy would indeed be very easy to be discovered by the outside world.

Although the Space Mecha itself has a Stealth ability, it cannot be kept on during testing, or it would affect the accuracy of the recorded data and monitoring.

At this moment, Commander Liu Chengzhi was suddenly attracted by another strange sight in the sky.

He saw a squadron of First-generation Mecha appearing in the sky.

The number of these mecha was quite terrifying, totaling two or three hundred!

They were neatly arranged in the air, resembling a forest of steel.

Commander Liu Chengzhi was stunned, his eyes filled with surprise and confusion.

”What are these mecha for?”

He asked subconsciously.

Zhao Cheng had long since become accustomed to it and replied indifferently:

”Oh, you mean those? They’re for patrol!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was even more confused.

”So many mecha patrolling together?”

Zhao Cheng slightly raised his chin and retorted:

”Are these mecha many? Isn’t it just a company?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was dumbfounded by his words.

”What do you mean ’just a company’! Is a company of mecha not enough? These mecha could wipe out the Eagle Sauce!”

Zhao Cheng looked at Commander Liu Chengzhi with some surprise.

”Old Liu, aren’t you our country’s foreign sales representative for mecha? You should know about our country’s mecha reserves!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi said helplessly:

”How would I know! The higher-ups just told me to sell as much as I can, saying that there are plenty of mecha! I felt there were at least four or five hundred.”

Zhao Cheng understood Commander Liu Chengzhi’s confusion and said with a smile:

”No wonder a mere company of mecha could make you so excited.”

”You really don’t know anything about our Dragon Country’s mecha reserves!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was taken aback, then he realized: ”According to what you mean, did I underestimate it?”

A trace of proud confidence appeared at the corner of Zhao Cheng’s mouth!

”It’s not just underestimating, it’s far too little. The command given to us by the higher-ups is...”

Zhao Cheng looked cautiously to the left and right, and after confirming there was no one else, he lowered his voice and said:

”According to the normal establishment, we are to build a Mech Legion of one division.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was dumbfounded; his mouth opened slightly, and he couldn’t speak for a long while.

”A Mech Legion of one division?”

”That would be over eight thousand mecha!!!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi’s voice was a bit stuttering.

”So, have we finished building them all????”

Commander Liu Chengzhi asked anxiously.

Zhao Cheng waved his hand.

”How could it be that easy to build! We’ve only managed to build about seventy or eighty percent so far!”

Boom!!!!!

Commander Liu Chengzhi was completely shocked.

He was dumbfounded by Zhao Cheng’s answer.

He quickly calculated in his mind: according to the old establishment, a division in our army had about 10,000 to 12,000 people, but with the military reform, a division now has about 8,000 to 10,000 people.

Even if calculated based on 8,000 people, seventy or eighty percent would be at least over five thousand.

This means that the Dragon Country has now manufactured at least over five thousand First-generation Mecha.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but exclaim:

”No wonder they can just take hundreds of mecha capable of defeating the Eagle Sauce and use them as a patrol team!”

”So our country is already this fierce!”

Zhao Cheng was still talking about how hard it was to build them, while Commander Liu Chengzhi muttered to himself!

If it’s hard to build, how did you manage to build several thousand mecha?

At this time, Zhao Cheng spoke again:

”Old Liu, there’s something I really don’t understand.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi replied: ”Go ahead.”

Zhao Cheng said: ”You see, although the First-generation Mecha are not as powerful as the Space Mecha, we shouldn’t sell the First-generation Mecha as merchandise!”

”This thing is quite powerful! Extremely advanced! Especially that Artificial Intelligence, I could chat with it for a whole year!”

”And the cost of a mecha is only a few hundred thousand. Even if you sell it, how much can you sell it for? A few hundred million at most.”

”Are we short of that little money?”

”Am I right or not?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi was stunned for a moment. A few hundred million?

He was almost amused by Zhao Cheng’s words.

”You don’t even understand technology as well as The Oil Tycoon.”

Zhao Cheng said unconvinced:

”How do I not understand technology? It is precisely because I understand technology that I feel such advanced mecha should not be sold.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi quickly explained:

”No, no, no, what I mean is, you don’t respect technology.”

Zhao Cheng was even more unconvinced!

But then he heard Commander Liu Chengzhi say again:

”We sell each of these mecha for thirty billion.”

”Oh... thirty billion... What??? Old Liu, how much did you say the mecha sells for???”

”Thirty billion???”

A mecha with a cost of a few hundred thousand could actually sell for thirty billion!

This huge price gap left Zhao Cheng so shocked that he couldn’t speak.

He widened his eyes, as if he couldn’t believe his ears.

In his understanding, a mecha with a cost of a few hundred thousand, no matter how powerful, could not possibly sell for such a high price.

Commander Liu Chengzhi shrugged, his tone carrying a hint of taking it for granted:

”Otherwise? Sell such awesome mecha for a few hundred million? As you said, are we short of those few hundred million?”

His words revealed confidence in the strength of the Dragon Country and a firm understanding of the value of the mecha.

After hearing Commander Liu Chengzhi’s words, Zhao Cheng realized that his previous thoughts were indeed too simple.

A mecha costing a few hundred thousand selling for tens of billions—although it seems unreasonable from the comparison of cost and price, who told it to be a high-tech product?

The advanced technology and powerful performance contained in these mecha are indeed worthy of such a high price.

However, a trace of worry arose in Zhao Cheng’s heart: ”It’s so expensive, will anyone buy it?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi smiled slightly and said:

”Didn’t we just transfer eighty-two mecha from your side two days ago?”

Only then did Zhao Cheng remember: so those mecha that were transferred away were all sold?

He was only responsible for production, and as for the use of these mecha, that was a decision from the higher-ups, so he hadn’t paid much attention to it.

He didn’t expect that they had all been sold.

Goodness, eighty-two units, thirty billion each—that’s over two trillion sold, damn it.

This thing is too profitable!

It seems he was too narrow-minded before.

Looking at it this way, the First-generation Mecha can indeed be sold.

No, it’s not that they can be sold, they should be sold like crazy!

”Old Liu, with such huge profits, why have you only sold a few dozen?”

Zhao Cheng changed his face instantly:

”Publicize it, promote how good our mecha are! Strive to sell more!”

”If it were me, I’d sell hundreds or thousands of them!”

Hearing Zhao Cheng’s words, Commander Liu Chengzhi’s mouth twitched involuntarily.

”You really change your face too fast, damn it. I don’t know who was just yelling about not letting me sell them, and now you’re telling me to sell them like crazy...”
