Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 212 What?! The tycoon is back again?!Su Chen smiled and said, ”I won’t tease you anymore!”

”After a month of stability testing, the stability of the Aerospace Carrier is excellent.”

”The data from this period is completely normal. Next is the final, concluding test I mentioned earlier!”

Hearing this news, Commander Liu Chengzhi was so excited that he nearly jumped from his chair, his voice trembling slightly with exhilaration:

”Does that mean our Aerospace Carrier is on track to put on a great show for the entire world at the Spring Festival Gala?”

Su Chen paused for a moment, surprised, and asked, ”You already know?”

Commander Liu Chengzhi smiled smugly and said, ”Of course, I heard it all from Elder Zhao.”

”To be honest, what shocked me even more is that our top leadership actually agreed.”

”However, it is indeed time for us to unsheathe our sword.”

”Before you arrived, seventy percent of our country consisted of conservatives; otherwise, why would we have been so forbearing? But since you burst onto the scene, our national defense strength has skyrocketed. Guess what? Those conservatives, damn it, have now become more hawkish than us hawks!”

”They are the ones firmly supporting the idea of teaching the whole world a lesson!”

Commander Liu Chengzhi grew more and more excited as he spoke, his face beaming with pride and exhilaration!

It was as if he could already envision the Aerospace Carrier stunning the world at the Spring Festival Gala.

He continued with a teasing tone:

”I never expected the conservatives to be even crazier than us hawks once they toughened up!”

”Some of them even suggested flying the Aerospace Carrier directly to Eagle Sauce’s Area 51!”

”Just to see if there really are any Extraterrestrials!”

”If there are, we’ll just grab them!”

”And ask them why they only appear in foreign countries and not in our Dragon Country—do they look down on us???”

Su Chen was amused by his words and replied with a smile:

”Sounds good. I’m also curious if there really are any Extraterrestrials in this world.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi then continued:

”Since the Aerospace Carrier’s testing is going so smoothly, you definitely won’t be able to have New Year’s Eve dinner with us on the day of the Spring Festival Gala!”

”You’ll certainly have to participate in the live broadcast of the Spring Festival Gala; after all, you’re the key figure!”

”Your aunt was even planning to invite your parents and sister to spend the New Year with us!”

Su Chen nodded calmly, saying thoughtfully:

”Given the situation, it’s really hard to say!”

He shrugged helplessly:

”I don’t even know how to explain it to my family right now. They still have no idea what I’m actually doing.”

Hearing this, Commander Liu Chengzhi suddenly laughed and teased:

”Your parents probably still think you’re diligently attending school, not realizing you’re already leading a nation’s technological development and even influencing the fate of the entire globe! You really are comparable to a protagonist in a power fantasy novel.”

Su Chen chuckled and said:

”What power fantasy protagonist? I’ve read a few of those novels before, and honestly, they didn’t feel that satisfying.”

Both of them couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

After the laughter subsided, Commander Liu Chengzhi said:

”By the way, I heard your sister is studying at Luo City University!”

”I’ll be heading to Luo City University for a military lecture in a while. Should I give her a heads-up so they can prepare themselves? Otherwise, I’m worried they might be shocked when the time comes.”

Su Chen thought for a moment and said seriously:

”Better not. I intend to remain anonymous and contribute to the country from the shadows.”

Su Chen said this casually, but to his surprise, there was silence on the other end of the line.

Commander Liu Chengzhi replied, equally seriously:

”Su Chen, unsung heroes are certainly worthy of respect, but I believe they deserve to stand in the spotlight and receive everyone’s flowers and applause.”

”Once the Aerospace Carrier is unveiled, there will be no need to keep your identity as the Chief Engineer a secret.”

”By then, our country will inevitably appear before the entire world in a position of overwhelming dominance. I don’t think any nation will dare to provoke us again! And no one will dare to harm you!”

Su Chen smiled calmly. He didn’t care much for fame or fortune; he had much greater goals in mind. He said slowly:

”I’m indifferent to all that!”

However, Su Chen could discern from Commander Liu Chengzhi’s tone!

He had high hopes for the Aerospace Carrier, practically regarding it as the pinnacle of technological achievement!

But in his view, the Aerospace Carrier was merely the beginning!

There was still a long road ahead to conquer the universe.

Commander Liu Chengzhi realized he was being a bit long-winded, scratched his head with a smile, and said:

”One last thing: I had a dream the night before last.”

”I dreamt I was fishing by the river with you, and you actually caught a hundred-jin fish.”

”Because the fish was too heavy, you, damn it, just had a Space Mecha take a landing net down and haul it up.”

”Tell me, do you think my dream holds any significance?”

Su Chen answered without hesitation, ”It means abundance year after year—it’s a good sign! It means you’re about to come into some wealth.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi curled his lip and said disdainfully:

”Oh, give it a rest. What do I need wealth for? I’m not short on money.”

”Rather, our country is working on both the Aerospace Carrier and energy projects, so the treasury is a bit tight. Instead of me getting rich, I’d rather our country make a windfall!”

The two ended the call with laughter.

After hanging up, Commander Liu Chengzhi glanced leisurely at the calendar on his desk; there was only one month left until the New Year.

He rose slowly, walked to the window, and gazed up at the vast, boundless sky, his eyes gleaming with anticipation and longing.

A breathtaking image involuntarily surfaced in his mind!

At the sacred moment of midnight on New Year’s, the Aerospace Carrier appeared majestically in the sky like a steel behemoth, piercing the darkness of the night and shining with brilliant radiance.

Furthermore, this scene wouldn’t just be witnessed by the people of our nation; it would make a stunning debut before the eyes of the entire world.

Commander Liu Chengzhi imagined the scene of that day, and an indescribable surge of excitement welled up within him.

He could almost see the amazed expressions of people across the globe and hear the waves of cheers, admiration, and shock.

When that time comes, what will be Eagle Sauce’s reaction?

Will they be shocked into silence, or will they be filled with jealousy and anxiety?

And what kind of panicked or fawning reactions will Eagle Sauce’s lackeys have?

At the thought of this, Commander Liu Chengzhi couldn’t help but clench his fists and shout excitedly:

”Awesome! Damn, that’s awesome!”

”Just thinking about it is satisfying!”

He could almost see the Dragon Country shining on the world stage thanks to the Aerospace Carrier, becoming the center of global attention. The nation’s prestige and status would reach unprecedented heights, perhaps even leaping to become the true leader of Blue Star!

It’s time to swap places with Eagle Sauce!

Wonder if that seat is uncomfortable?

Just as he was lost in his daydream, a crisp ringtone suddenly cut through his thoughts.

He turned back to his desk and saw that the headquarters’ dedicated line was displayed on the phone, causing his heart to tighten instantly.

He answered the phone, and Elder Qin’s steady, slightly authoritative voice came through.

Elder Qin said concisely:

”Little Liu, there’s a mission that requires your attention.”

”Oil Country has expressed interest in purchasing Space Mecha; you need to go and negotiate the deal with them.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi immediately perked up and responded:

”Elder Qin, I understand. I guarantee I’ll complete the mission!”

However, he couldn’t help but feel surprised, thinking to himself:

”Good heavens, has The Oil Tycoon finally tasted the benefits of the Space Mecha?”

”They only bought a few dozen Space Mecha with the Desert Alliance a while ago, and they already managed to wipe out Daishin. Now, they want to buy more?”

After hanging up, Commander Liu Chengzhi grinned and thought:

”Well, that brat Su Chen was spot on—we really are about to make a fortune!”

”Though, we probably won’t make too much this time!”

For one, Oil Country is facing an energy crisis, so their funding has certainly been significantly impacted.

Secondly, Oil Country already has quite a stockpile of Space Mecha; in their region, unless they plan on going to war with Eagle Sauce, buying more won’t be of much use.

But a small profit is still a profit, so I certainly won’t turn it down!

With that, Commander Liu Chengzhi immediately had his subordinates arrange the logistics for the meeting with Oil Country.

The next day, representatives from both sides held a grand meeting!
