Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 147 Winning 1Chapter 147 Winning

As the battle gradually became more intense, the atmosphere in the audience reached a climax.

”How handsome! I actually see the feeling of a swordsman in a pet beast?”

”The insect-type pet beast is actually really handsome. It’s different from what the school teacher said...”

”That’s a person’s own ability. Do you have the ability to train Daodao Mantis to this level?”

”I’ll blow it later. Whether it can withstand the rain of flying leaves and arrows is another matter!”

This is not the first time these old viewers have seen Ye Qingyu use a special move, but the recent challengers are too weak. The last time they saw this move ”Flying Leaves and Arrows” was nearly ten days ago. .

Moreover, the one who challenged the gym at that time was a second-generation warrior with a fire-type purple-gold pet beast. He relied on attributes and levels to defeat him almost all the way, which was slightly lacking in enjoyment.

Because he has been too busy recently, Russell really hasn’t added much information about the Green Leaf Gym. He is a bit unfamiliar with the ”Flying Leaf Arrow Rain” trick.

Facing Ye Qingyu’s menacing killing move, Russell could only ask Daolang to retreat a little distance and deal with it as carefully as possible.

hum-

As Ye Qingyu’s shouts resounded throughout the battlefield, the forest tree demon also let out a low cry that seemed to echo in the empty valley.

Immediately afterwards, all its remaining leaves glowed with emerald green light, and then shot into the air.

”...What kind of skill is this?”

Seeing a scene he had never seen before, Russell was a little dazed.

But he soon saw the power of the first killing move of this Greenleaf Gym.

A few seconds later, accompanied by a whooshing sound through the air, the leaves that were shot into the air began to fall back one after another.

The leaves hardened by plant energy have good penetrating properties. Added to the gravity generated by falling, the power of these flying leaves is doubled, and they are stuck on the ground like sharp arrows.

Judging from their attack power, which was almost completely submerged into the soil, it was estimated that they would leave a large scar on Daolang’s body.

What’s even worse is that the coverage of this skill is ridiculously wide.

If the flying leaf storm is like a hurricane that sweeps across the battlefield, then the flying leaf arrow rain can be called a rain of arrows that pierces the entire field.

Even if Daolang cut off most of the branches and leaves of the forest tree demon in advance, this rain of flying leaf arrows still covered most of the field and lasted for more than ten seconds.

If the tactics were wrong and the combat power of the forest tree demons was not weakened in advance, what Daolang would have to face now would be a rain of arrows that would cover almost the entire battlefield and would last twice as long.

It only covers half of the field. Under the deliberate guidance of the forest tree demon, this skill is still very difficult to avoid.

Fortunately, Flying Leaf Arrow Rain and Flying Leaf Storm are both flying leaf skills with entities, so the blind spot is still the user’s body.

”Hurry up and join the forest tree demon!”

Realizing that this skill could also be avoided by dealing with the flying leaf storm, Russell quickly sent an order to Daolang to stay close to the forest tree demon.

Although doing this will inevitably lead to attacks from some melee skills, the melee combat ability of this forest tree demon is obviously not as good as its long-range attack ability. Based on the principle of choosing the lesser of two evils, close combat will always be successful.

At the same time as he received the order, Daolang also felt the strong plant-based aura coming from the air, and witnessed the flying leaves that were so powerful that they could easily shoot deep into the soil.

With the spirit of being cowardly, it quickly rushed to the forest tree demon, allowing the other party to beat itself with branches and vines, but refused to let go.

Facts have proved that Russell’s decision was very correct.

Relying on the cover of the forest tree demon’s body, Daolang successfully avoided most of the arrows. Even if he was occasionally scratched by a few flying leaves, it only caused some innocuous minor injuries.Regarding this somewhat cunning strategy, Ye Qingyu just smiled and did not raise any objections.

After all, it was just a gym battle, not a life-and-death fight. She would not order the forest tree demon to target herself with a rain of arrows and attack Daolang by killing one thousand enemies and damaging eight hundred to herself.

After a while, the rain of arrows that continued to fall from mid-air gradually subsided. In the process, Daolang was slightly injured, but overall it was not serious.

On the other hand, on the forest tree demon’s side, the explosion just now caused it to consume almost all its leaves.

As a pet beast that uses leaves as its main means of fighting enemies, running out of leaves naturally means losing its ability to resist.

Next, Daolang only made a few symbolic attacks, and Ye Qingyu announced that Russell had won the first battle.

”I’m going to send out a second pet now. Do you choose to change the pet?”

While taking back the forest tree demon and sending out Lotte Sunflower, she also asked Russell very thoughtfully.

This is another humanized setting for the gym challenge.

In most competitive battles, replacing a pet means partial forfeit, and the replaced pet is not allowed to play again.

Taking into account the novice status of the challengers, the gym battle is not demanding in terms of changing pet beasts.

If the second pet beast cannot successfully pass the level, the first pet beast can continue to fight.

As the saying goes, don’t give away free benefits. Faced with the opportunity to change pets without any restrictions, most people will of course choose to change their pets so that the starting pets that have just finished a game can rest for a while.

As a stable player, Russell is naturally no exception.

Although he won the first battle, he was not confident enough to think that Daolang could fight one against two.

After Ye Qingyu sent out Lotte Sunflower, Russell also took back Daolang, and then sent out Ayou who had been shouting in the beast-controlling space for a long time.

call……

”It’s finally my turn. Who wants that stinky mantis to avenge me? I’ll do it myself!”

Ayou was very indifferent to Daolang’s previous rhetoric.

Everyone is an offensive pet beast, but he is still Russell’s first signature pet beast. When did he need protection from others?

With a sure-win attitude, Ayou flapped her wings and flew into the battlefield, provocatively spraying two handfuls of scale powder at Lotte Sunflower.

Although it is not facing the old opponent of the forest tree demon, it is still full of fighting spirit and is ready to show off in front of Russell and let the guy Daolang know that he is the trump card!
”It’s very energetic...”

Seeing Ayou flying up and down, Ye Qingyu pursed her lips and smiled.

Compared to the last time we fought.Russell’s UFO Hawkmoth has not changed much, but it is also improving steadily. It should be at the late third level now.

However, Lotte Sunflower is a gold-level pet beast after all. It has also been specially cultivated with leaves, and its overall strength is even stronger than the forest tree demon.

Russell defeated the forest tree demon with a fourth-level pet beast. Then, this late-level third-level UFO Hawkmoth had to face the Lotte Sunflower, which was also late-level third-level and had the home field advantage.

”Good luck, boy...sun cannon!”

As soon as the preparation countdown passed, Ye Qingyu, who was a little excited, immediately took the lead in launching the attack.
