Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 140 Tree seed cultivation has achieved initial resultsChapter 140 Tree seed cultivation has achieved initial results
After receiving the successful sample provided by Russell, Feiyi Shipping Company paid special attention to it, and Xu Youshan brought back the company’s official reply on the same day.

The official document, which was full of business bragging, was written in thousands of words, but the main idea was very simple, that is, as long as we can cultivate success, we need money to give money and people to give people.

However, in terms of professional talents, Russell has no demand at all. After all, it is difficult for any kind of talents to compare with the cheating effect of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent.

As for materials and funds, Russell did put forward some requirements.

The first step is to naturally increase investment in pet beast cubs, equipment and breeding materials.

According to the information previously provided by Flying Wing Shipping Company, the materials used to build an airship require thousands of insect-type pets to be continuously produced for several months.

Russell plans to start with iron chrysalis silkworms and breed one or two thousand to start the product line.

Anyway, the evolutionary aura and similar racial influence of the silkworm pet beasts have been unlocked. From now on, one or two factories can be set aside for large-scale breeding, which will save the trouble of batch after batch.

At that time, Ayou’s lord authority can be further unlocked, and I don’t know what kind of new abilities he can get.

Moreover, the iron chrysalis silkworm has a silver-level bloodline that is rare among silkworm pets. Although the evolved iron-winged moth is also silver-level, generally speaking, it is still a black iron moth when it is a larvae, and a bronze moth when it evolves. Silkworm and Black-ringed Celestial Silkworm are much stronger.

The scale powder of the Ironwing Moth is a material that can effectively strengthen the strength of metal. It is also one of the commodities purchased by Flying Wing Shipping Company at a high price.

The weaver insect group is closely related to the dead leaf cloakworm, which saves the trouble of searching for lord-level pets of the same race.

As long as they wait until after the contract with Xiao Qi, their lord and evolution halo permissions will be unlocked naturally, so there is no need to rush.

Secondly, the Flying Wing Shipping Company is required to provide as many different types of lord-level pets as possible, as well as pure wild plant seeds.

The purpose of the former requirement is easy to understand. The advancement of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent relies on the expansion of Russell’s contracted beasts to control the group on the one hand, and on the other hand, the contact with different lord-level beasts.

Russell now wants to know what new abilities the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent can derive when the number of unlocked races reaches a certain number.

Naturally, the search for different tree species is to speed up Liang Kun’s research and development progress.

In fact, during this period of time, Liang Kun has developed several slightly valuable tree species.

For example, there are mulberry trees with higher leaf yield, and fruit trees that are naturally poisonous and can prevent most insect pests.

However, the special features of these tree species were not what Russell needed, so he just asked Liang Kun to keep a batch of seeds to try to cultivate them further, instead of starting large-scale transplanting.

Liang Kun said that wild plant seeds are more likely to mutate. Russell always kept this sentence in mind.

The shipping company’s business spans multiple regions, and it has access to more pet animals and plant species than most people.

Without requiring level or rarity, it is not difficult at all for them to simply collect the special insect beasts and plant seeds from each region.

Feiyi Shipping Company naturally agreed to this request, and would even send the existing inventory to Yu Chongwu in the near future.

…………

Continue to build,

Several small transport planes landed in front of Russell’s newly opened No. breeding ground.

The so-called breeding ground No. is actually another vacant factory building close to the original breeding ground. Anyway, it is used to raise silkworms and does not need any decoration. Just move the equipment provided by Feiyi Shipping Company into it and connect the water and electricity.

Perhaps because Russell gave them the strong hope they had never had before, the Flying Wing Shipping Company directly shipped two thousand iron silkworm larvae, as well as seeds that filled a small warehouse.

It’s a pity that most people don’t have any special demand for lord-level insect beasts, so the Flying Wing Shipping Company has to temporarily stock them. These young iron silkworms want to be affected by the evolutionary halo, provided that Russell conducts an energy screening for them.

Even if it only takes a minute or two to work on an iron chrysalis silkworm, the total time required will become a bit exaggerated when the numbers are added up.

At the thought of having to serve as a humanoid breeding machine in the breeding farm day and night again, Russell’s heart collapsed a little.

”I don’t know how many more times the talent needs to evolve before I can gain the ability to group-screen...”

Now, what he looks forward to most is to have more optimization abilities that can be easily cultivated when his talents are advanced next time.

But this is all a story for another day. Speaking of this batch of iron chrysalis silkworms, Russell still had to slowly select them one by one.

Fortunately, just a few days into the boring mechanical cultivation life, he unexpectedly received some good news.

One afternoon, Russell, who felt his body was hollowed out, was lying on the rocking chair and dozing off. Liang Kun suddenly hurried to the breeding ground.

He basically spends his time in the woods, and Russell doesn’t ask for attendance, so it’s rare to see Liang Kun around the Chongwu House.

Seeing Liang Kun running in with a happy face today, Russell was also happy in his heart.

Could it be that cultivating tree species has finally yielded good results?
And the facts were indeed as he expected. After receiving a whole warehouse of tree seeds sent by Feiyi Shipping Company, Liang Kun’s breeding work also progressed rapidly, and he soon cultivated a plant that was very needed by the Royal Insect House at this stage.

”This is a variant of the mulberry tree. I tried to add the ingredient Cordyceps sinensis, so the insect energy contained in it will be very abundant...”

Holding a brown seed, Liang Kun excitedly described the efficacy of the new tree species.

As he said, the quality of the mulberry tree cultivated this time does not have many special attributes, but it is rich in insect-type energy, which can greatly speed up the growth of insect-type pet beast cubs.

At the same time, worm silk is a low-level skill of the worm system, and is naturally formed from the energy of the worm system. Long-term consumption of this mulberry leaf can also increase the production of worm silk.

Russell seemed very satisfied with the fact that Liang Kun had the resources to achieve results so quickly.

”Boss, I’ll try harder and see if I can get rid of the excess energy.”

However, Liang Kun himself seemed not very satisfied, mumbling plans for further improvement.

”No, no, just cultivate it as it is now. You can try to increase the growth rate or output, but there is no need to purify the energy.”

Hearing this, Russell quickly stopped Liang Kun’s thankless idea.

With the blessing of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, the new tree species cultivated by Liang Kun have some chaotic energy, which is not an issue that needs to be considered at all.

In the daily feeding process, that little bit of messy energy can be automatically eliminated by the evolutionary halo, without any impact on the health of the pet or the quality of the product.

For Russell, the tree species studied by Liang Kun are not perfect, but are a natural technical barrier.

After all, it was impossible for Russell to completely fence off such a large forest or hire a lot of guards to patrol around.

As long as the reputation of the Imperial Insect House becomes more and more famous, sooner or later someone will go to the forest to steal some cultivation materials and take them home to study.

At this point, the small flaw that Liang Kun is currently brooding over will be able to protect the technology of the Insect House from being easily copied.
