Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 123 Becoming a Pet Beast CrazyChapter 123 Becoming a Pet Beast Crazy
Sensing that his opponent’s condition was not normal, Daodao Mantis immediately stopped trying to deal damage, and instead flapped his wings and retreated two or three meters back.

And what happened next proved that its decision was quite correct.

The big wolf dog flinched for only a second after being injured, and then became ferocious, casting an extremely crazy and bloodthirsty look at Daodao Mantis.

Haha...haha...!
Immediately afterwards, it let out a gasping sound that seemed to be particularly hungry, and the saliva flowed out from the iron mesh of its mouth several times more.

Hearing this special gasping sound, the beast master of the big wolf dog turned around, his expression seemed a little surprised and nervous.

Now is the critical moment to besiege the alliance’s high-level beast masters, and these members of the Fire Stealing Group are naturally extremely nervous.

Although the Fire Stealing Group got a lot of information from ”Tinder” and knew that the alliance members were acting alone this time and majored in the poison system, they had the upper hand through preparations in advance, but the strength of their opponents was there, and they Nothing can go wrong.

If Turandot and the three-headed dragon snake escape the trap, even if they are equipped with a full set of poison protection equipment and can avoid being poisoned for a while, they will be caught up by the three-headed dragon snake and eaten alive.

However, when the beast master saw that the pet beast attacking the big wolf dog was actually a large sword mantis, the tension in his heart suddenly dissipated.

Although he couldn’t figure out why the fighting here was so fierce and a mantis suddenly ran out to cause trouble, this insect-type pet beast was recognized as one of the weakest and was really nothing to be afraid of.

The beast control master of the Fire Stealing Group was very confident that the big wolf dog he had carefully cultivated would be able to eat the mantis alive in just half a minute.

After checking the small commotion behind him, he quickly walked to the big wolfhound, used a key to open the iron mask that restrained it, and then continued to concentrate on besieging Turandot, who was constantly hiding with the help of the surrounding trees.

Ho... ho ho...!
Breaking away from the shackles of the iron mask, the big wolf dog kept roaring wildly, and rushed towards the mantis with its bloody mouth.

As it ran, its mouth full of fangs would occasionally shake off bits of meat and saliva. Its aura was completely unlike the usual routine of testing first and then attacking fiercely.

In other words, this big wolfdog seems to have no concept of fighting in its heart. It only knows... pure killing!
Kill other pets and eat them to fill your belly!
Even though he was standing far away in the tree, Russell still felt a numbness in his scalp, not to mention the fact that he had to face the giant wolfdog directly.

Seeing a crazy-looking and extremely aggressive fourth-level gold-level pet beast charging towards him, Daodao Mantis, which was currently only a third-level silver-level pet beast, felt that his whole body could not help but tense up, and his limbs seemed to be numb. Some are disobedient.

This is a typical state of being intimidated. Even if the opponent does not really have the ability to intimidate, when the momentum is completely suppressed, one’s own combat effectiveness will decline in all directions.

The big wolf dog’s physical strength is much stronger than that of the broadsword mantis. If his own strength is compromised and his movements are deformed, he will really be defeated in a matter of seconds.

Seeing that Daodao Mantis was frightened by the crazy big wolf dog, Russell frowned.

At the same time that Daodao Mantis took action, Ayou had already quietly flown in the direction of the Water Purification Elf. It was estimated that it would take a total of seven or eight seconds to fly with the power-charging skills.

Worried that there would be too much battle damage, he even hesitated and began to debate whether to let Ayou launch a slit shadow arrow to support Daodao Mantis first.

However, in the next moment, another dragon roar full of domineering and perseverance suddenly sounded from the bottom of Dadao Mantis’s heart.

This dragon’s roar that seems far away yet seems to be right next to his ears is exactly the roar of the Bone Crushing Ax Dragon when he unleashes his war will.

It was this roar that inspired the unparalleled fighting spirit skill, and a bug rushed into the group of rabbits and ghosts to kill everyone.

Sa-!
”He’s just a local dog, no matter how crazy he is, he’ll stay like that!”

Recalling the scene of the Moon Demon Rabbit’s fierce battle with the Bone-breaking Tomahawk Dragon, and the true power of the dragon, Daodao Mantis instantly got rid of the intimidation state.

It quickly adjusted its fighting posture, locked its compound eyes on the approaching wolfhound, and was ready to fight to the end.Seeing that Daodao Mantis was back to its original state and feeling the high fighting spirit coming from the spiritual link, Russell breathed a sigh of relief.

As long as Dao Dao Mantis can perform normally, he is actually not too worried.

Although the Great Wolf Dog’s bloodline has reached the gold level, it is a comprehensive and balanced pet beast, and its combat power ranking is not high.

In an almost crazy state, the attack power of this big wolf dog seemed to have increased a lot, and its power was greatly increased when using evil attributes skills such as frantic biting.

However, correspondingly, its combat rhythm and combat consciousness are approximately zero. In addition, without the command of a beast master, it is basically a mad dog that only relies on instinct to pounce and bite.

The basic physical skills that Daodao Mantis has been training recently, including the Mantis Fist skill that he is still learning, happen to be focused on flexible guerrilla combat and do not confront his opponents head-on.

Facing the big wolf dog that was always trying to tear him into pieces, Daodao Mantis was highly concentrated, constantly dodging and moving, and gliding with the help of surrounding trees from time to time, always walking around the big wolf dog in a nonchalant manner.

However, in order to achieve the purpose of attracting attention, the mantis did not dare to run too far, so it was hit several times, half of its wings were bitten off, and one of its legs was bitten off.

Seeing this scene, Russell couldn’t help but feel a little distressed, but he didn’t panic.

Broken limbs are not considered serious injuries, which is another benefit of insect-type pets.

As long as it is not fatally injured, or the opponent’s attack contains attributes such as continuous curse or inability to heal, even if the insect beast’s limbs are broken, they can grow back during the next molt and evolve.

For ordinary insect-type pets, the number of natural evolutions is very limited, usually only once or twice in a lifetime, so this ability can only be used once or twice.

However, as Russell’s contract pet, he can enjoy complete healing benefits once for each life energy level.

Daodao Mantis was badly beaten at the moment, but as long as it could survive this situation safely, Russell could completely make up for it once the reward from the Beast Control Alliance arrived.

In addition, Russell also discovered a small surprise.

In this near-death battle, the proficiency of Daodao Mantis’s Mantis Fist and Unparalleled Fighting Will skills are rapidly improving.

…………

While Daodao Mantis was delaying time with his physical bravery, Ayou finally completed his mission.

Under the cover of the night and nearby battles, it quietly activated the Shadow Form and Nightmare Butterfly Shadow skills in mid-air, mobilized the energy of its entire body, and brewed seven Netherworld Explosions.

Before launching the attack, Ayou even forcibly dispersed his mental power, squeezed out a shadow arrow from his wings, and firmly fixed the water elf in place as he prepared to dance his energy body.

Although the Shadow Sewing Arrow skill cannot prevent the opponent from releasing long-range skills, it can at least prevent the water purification elves from moving, ensuring that the Nether Explosion can hit successfully.

Crash...?
Feeling that his body suddenly went stiff, and still confused about the situation, the water purification elf made a confused sound, and instinctively raised his hand to release a spring of purification towards himself.

Under the influence of specialized purification skills, the Shadow Sewing Arrow, which should have been controlled for more than three seconds, dissipated in less than half a second.

But at the same time, a dense gray energy mass suddenly appeared next to the Purifying Water Elf with a cold and destructive aura.
