Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 142 Active Mithril MixtureChapter 142 Active Mithril Mixture

In order to ensure that the efficacy of the breeding material would not be weakened, after obtaining the mithril ore, Russell immediately prioritized the evolution of the mantis.

First of all, he injected the source of evolution accumulated through the natural growth of the Big Mulberry Silkworm and the Black-ringed Celestial Silkworm into the proficiency of the Mantis Fist.

The infusion of the source of evolution is essentially an infusion of energy. While improving skill proficiency, it can also increase the proportion of energy of the same attribute in the pet’s body.

When the comprehension progress of Mantis Boxing exceeded 90.00%, the growth progress of Daodao Mantis also reached 90.00%.

According to the previously planned development idea, Russell slightly lowered the proportion of steel energy in the body of the mantis.

Two-thirds of the insect-type energy, plus one-third of the steel-type energy, are distributed very evenly.

This ratio can gradually improve the weak attack and defense disadvantage of the Great Sword Mantis, but it will not over-harden the body and lose the advantage of flexibility.

It is a little regrettable that the Iron Chrysalis Silkworm, whose initial bloodline level is Silver, cannot be accepted by Ayou as his younger brother for the time being.

Every time Ayou shows his strength in the No. breeding ground, they will also show their admiration and yearning.

However, it may be because the difference in strength is not big enough. After worshiping, Russell did not receive any news about the expansion of Ayou’s ruling group.

Therefore, he planned to order another batch of large silkworms, and first unlock Ayou’s lord’s posture to the third level.

The condition for unlocking the second to third level lord status is to have 300 ruling tribesmen. Ayou now has more than tribesmen. With the current financial resources of Yuchongwu, it is not difficult to double the number.

Of course, the most important thing now is to let Dao Mantis evolve smoothly and usher in the transformation of strength.

After the growth progress reached 90.00%, the status of Daodao Mantis changed significantly.

The sluggish state it had been in after being injured has completely improved. From time to time, it also sent Russell messages that the carapace on its body felt too small and that it was a little panicked.

There is no doubt that this is the signal that the mantis is about to shed its skin and advance to the fourth level.

Russell was still a little excited about the fact that he would soon have a fourth-level pet beast and truly enter the ranks of mid-level beast masters.

In the world of beast control, the third level and the fourth level are a typical watershed.

According to the classification of silver-level third-level maturity and gold-level fourth- to fifth-level maturity, the image of third-level pet beasts in the public mind is generally either that of a weakling or a cub.

The fourth-level pet beasts are gradually beginning to be treated as important combat power and resources.

Correspondingly, fourth-level beast masters can be regarded as the mainstay of the entire beast master world.

A combat-type fourth-level beast master, he is enough to serve as the captain of the urban patrol team, as well as the venue supervisor of some junior competitions, etc., which sounds a bit high-end.

In a team, several fourth-level beast masters with excellent wild survival skills are fully capable of hunting and exploring the outer and central areas of most wild areas.

If you are a production or cultivation type beast master, with level strength, you are fully qualified to join companies such as Honeypot Valley and Senluo Clothing Company and become a mid-level technician.

From the perspective of a professional beast master who specializes in competition, if you can have two powerful fourth-level beasts, you will have a good chance of sprinting into the annual finals of city events.

Of course, it is not an easy task to cultivate a qualified fourth-level pet beast.Just like today’s college students are divided into outstanding graduates and blank slate graduates who have nothing but a diploma.

It is also a fourth-level pet beast. If you have the level, but the development of basic abilities and the configuration of skills are too high, it will be difficult to truly occupy a place in the world of beast control.

If you want to cultivate a pet beast with good individual qualities and skill combination, in addition to devoting resources, you also need sufficient time.

Even if Russell has the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent to ensure that there will not be too big a bottleneck in the growth of the pet beast, the time, energy and money that should be spent cannot be saved.

It can even be said that because the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent has raised the upper limit of the growth of insect-type beasts, the resources and efforts he has to pay for it will only be more.

Especially at the critical moment when the pet beast is advancing, there is no chance of losing any of it.

The metamorphic growth of the insect type is a feature that many races do not possess. If this process is utilized well, the evolutionary improvement can be further amplified and the plasticity of the pet beast can be improved.

However, if you are careless and make a mistake, you may stretch your hips to the end. Not to mention the growth of strength, even the life of the pet beast may not be saved.

Fortunately, he was diligent enough some time ago and conducted energy screening for the newly arrived pet beasts one by one.

Now that Flying Wing Shipping Company’s orders have entered a state of steady development, Russell just had time to prepare the advanced materials needed for the Great Sword Mantis.

The mithril blend formula provided to Russell by the auction house is called active mithril mixture.

This is a special formula that maintains the properties of mithril as much as possible while being able to incorporate other biological materials, which just meets Russell’s need to add breeding materials.

The principle of making this solution is actually very simple. It is to add various auxiliary materials with dissolving, neutralizing and energy releasing effects, slowly melt the mithril ore into liquid through heating, and then drink it.

Of course, the properties of mithril ore and another biological material will certainly be degraded in the process.

In the words of the auction house staff, it is impossible to convert metal into a liquid that can be eaten and digested without losing any of its properties.

At least, based on the current technological capabilities of the beast-controlling world, it is unlikely.

As for the reduction ratio, it depends on the ratio of buffer added by the manufacturer.

The more neutralizing buffer is added, the more the original properties of mithril are lost; the less neutralizing buffer is added, the more toxic the final solution will be.

The specific number of additions will be discussed based on the different circumstances of each person’s pet animal.

If some ore-based pets native to the Western Principality take this ingredient, the staff will definitely recommend not adding it at all. It is best to drink it as it is after it melts slightly.

But for pet beasts like the Great Knife Mantis, which have no rock or steel attributes and are only silver-level and weak, the opinion of the auction staff is to add them according to the highest proportion.

In order to maximize the effectiveness of the advanced materials, Russell naturally would not add moderators according to this ratio.

However, Daodao Mantis is a flesh and blood body after all, and he doesn’t dare to really let it learn those elemental and mineral creatures.

After much thought, Russell decided to add a demulcent to the active mithril mixture at one-fifth of the recommended ratio, which is the ratio that ordinary purple-gold-level pets can bear.
