Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 137 The cultivation beginsChapter 137 The cultivation begins

After reading the information at hand and checking the status of the pet beast larvae through the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, Russell showed a confident smile.

It seems that completing this huge cultivation order is much easier than I imagined.

Strictly speaking, the cost of cultivation may be relatively high this time, but judging from the doubts that need to be solved and the scope of trial and error required, it is actually simpler than cultivating Rainbow Veil.

In fact, Feiyi Shipping Company has made sufficient attempts before and accumulated a large amount of cultivation information.

It can even be said that they have found the right direction to cultivate iron silkworms and weaver worms to improve the quality of insect products.

For example, as mentioned in the report, a formula that can enhance the concentration of mucus-like substances in the body of pet silkworms and indirectly increase the tenacity and yield of silkworm silk is of considerable value.

As long as there are slight improvements, not only the iron chrysalis silkworms can be eaten, but also other silkworm pets in the insect house can actually eat some secretly...

However, in the eyes of Flying Wing Shipping Company, these are abandoned projects that have incurred huge costs but have no returns.

After all, the theoretical production time of each generation of silkworm pets is only one and a half years. It only improves the strength of silkworm silk, but leads to direct extinction. That is a typical breeding failure case.

Tian Xiuqi once said when he purchased Rainbow Veil that for such short-lived production pets, not only the product quality must meet the standards, but also they must be successfully bred for more than three generations before they can be considered successful.

Of course, the failure to successfully complete the cultivation task does not mean that the cultivation experts previously hired by Feiyi Shipping Company were poor.

In fact, this is mainly a matter of natural laws.

If just feeding a certain material could painlessly improve the abilities of a pet beast and pass it on from generation to generation, the crystal-level pet beasts would have been crawling all over the ground.

Think about it this way, the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent that can directly use the Source of Evolution to forcibly add points, and the ”Cocoon of Evolution” that can use the Evolution Halo to slowly promote growth, is really awesome!

In this way, the difficulties encountered by shipping companies are indeed difficult to solve. Russell thinks it is simple because he is a fool.

Because of cheating, I can easily get in touch with all kinds of big bosses, and I can talk about cooperation with them on an equal footing. This feeling is really cool...

Of course, having a powerful beast-controlling talent at your side doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want.

Even with the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, Russell can only see the changes in insect beasts more intuitively, and can filter energy through painless trial and error.

His main pet beasts, Ayou and Daodao Mantis, have to spend a lot of effort to learn rare skills.

It is not difficult for Russell to fulfill this kind of order just to increase the strength of the pet beast’s original ability.

If anyone wants to force the big silkworm to learn dragon language magic, even if he offers 1000 billion, he probably doesn’t have that ability...

In other words, if he had this kind of ability, Russell would have already dominated the world of beast control by himself.

However, among the military pets, there seem to be quite a few insect-type pets.

After all, war is different from competition. It has never been an occasion where one-on-one combat effectiveness is important.

The battles between the pioneering war and some forces suffered a lot of losses, and it was impossible for all the contracted beasts to go into battle.

In the probing battles of the advance troops, most of them used domesticated but non-contracted mid- to low-level pet beasts as cannon fodder.

Insect-type pets that are good at climbing, lurking, and camouflaging, have good perception capabilities, have low IQs and are easy to tame, and eat little, are naturally favored by many legions.Maybe in the future, Yuchongwu will really develop a military industry?

.........

At this time, Lu Yinning’s voice suddenly came to Russell’s ears:
”Brother Russell, these iron chrysalis silkworms and weaver worm larvae have been settled. What cultivation materials do you want to order? It’s best to tell me in advance.”

While Russell was wandering about, Lu Yinning, who had become more and more skilled in managing the insect house business, had already arranged various matters for the experimental pets. His professional attitude was not even inferior to that of the professional managers of Feiyi Shipping Company.

However, her attitude towards Russell was not as polite and distant as the employees’ relationship with Ms. Tong Mingzhu. Even after becoming a manager, Lu Yinning still affectionately called Russell her brother.

For this reason, Lu Dahu was very jealous, but every time Lu Yinning recounted Russell’s various achievements like a treasure trove, he was silenced.

After the opening of the Dream Mental Sanatorium, Yuchongwu’s business ushered in another wave of rapid development, and Lu Yinning became more and more energetic.

She doesn’t even want to go to graduate school now. She said that she will sign a long-term contract as soon as she graduates and retire at Omushiya...

In Lu Yinning’s words, the research institute has long been ruined. After graduation, her salary of around credits will be even lower than her current salary, and her boss may be very irritating.

How is it like now? Not only is the salary high, the boss has a good personality, and the working environment is happy.

Moreover, what I learned at the Insect Control House was no less than what I learned at the Senluo Beast Control Academy.

Those classmates heard that she participated in the cultivation process of Rainbow Veil, and all of them were surprisingly sweet. They kept shouting ”senior sister, boss” and even shouted that they wanted to come to the Imperial Insect House for an internship.

In the past two days, Lu Yinning was so excited that she didn’t sleep all night when she heard that Russell had negotiated a deal with the internationally renowned Flying Wing Shipping Company.

In order not to be looked down upon, she compared everything with the business manager sent by Tong Mingzhu, and she was so busy that she almost had her head hanging upside down.

At this moment, Lu Yinning was reporting her work happily with dark circles under her eyes, wiping the sweat on her forehead. People couldn’t help but want to rate her as a model worker...

Seeing this, the real boss Russell, who was a little embarrassed, quickly put back his overly divergent thoughts and handed the reports in his hand to Lu Yinning.

”First buy a few copies of the ingredients for the formulas mentioned in these experimental materials, and I’ll see if I can improve them based on the previous ones.”

Simply solving the problem of bite force will not achieve the results Ms. Tong Mingzhu wants.

While strengthening the bite force of iron silkworms and the need for weaver worms to molt, Russell plans to ”waste use” of the formula they previously developed.

In this way, you will save yourself the trouble of searching for suitable materials to strengthen the silk and mucus.

”Also, go to the trading center to see if these materials are still in stock recently, and buy more.”

As the saying goes, form complements form, and the several materials he initially selected were basically derived from some pet animals with relatively developed mouthparts and similar body shapes to worms.

As for the issue of absorption, Russell is really not too worried about the nourishing effect of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent.

After all, under the touch of the energy thread, even the giant silkworm can form a delicate balance of water, fire and light attributes in its body.

Using their mouthparts to bite open the protective layer created by themselves is the basic ability of iron silkworms and weaver worms, so the possibility of rejection should be lower.
