Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 25 Honey Pot ValleyChapter 25 Honey Pot Valley
Over the weekend, the Honeypot Valley located on the outskirts of Senluo City ushered in another beautiful day.

Under the bright sunshine, large groups of butterflies and bees chase and play among the blooming flowers. Gardeners and tourists come and go. From time to time, honey trucks exuding a rich and sweet smell slowly drive out, making it look beautiful and beautiful. A spectacle of abundance.

This is one of the top three apiaries in the entire southern principality. Hundreds of flowering plants are planted in the park to feed thousands of honeypot bees.

In addition, the honeypot company has also raised many plant pets in the valley that can improve the environment and protect flowers. Whenever the mountain wind blows, groups of small flower essences will float up holding petal umbrellas and move back and forth among the flower fields. , making people feel like they are in a fairy tale world.

Therefore, not only has a large-scale honey-making industry been built here, but it has also become an indispensable tourist attraction in Senluo City’s travel guide.

”It’s so beautiful.”

Taking the sightseeing bus to the entrance of Honey Pot Valley, Russell and Lu Yinning both expressed their heartfelt admiration when looking at the endless sea of flowers.

In order to protect the ecological environment in the valley, outside vehicles are not allowed to pass through the Honeypot Valley. After buying the tickets, the two began their sightseeing trip along the path among the flowers.

After walking for a while, several black and yellow insect beasts flapped their wings and appeared in front of them.

”This is the honeypot bee. The name is so appropriate.”

As a hardcore lover of insect beasts, Russell recognized the identities of these little guys at a glance.

This kind of black iron-level insect beast is only the size of a human fist. Except for a special horn on its back that looks like a clay pot, their appearance is almost the same as that of ordinary bees.

This is the main resident of the Honeypot Valley, the honeypot bee whose honey production is arrogant to other bees of the same family.

With the racial talent skill ”Quick Brewing”, honeypot bees can accelerate the reaction speed of nectar and invertase by consuming energy. When a honeypot bee collects a full jar of nectar and returns to the hive, what is poured out is already semi-finished honey. .

”I came here in the car with an empty stomach. Let’s try Honeypot Street’s special breakfast first.”

After walking for a while, the two of them reached a fork in the road. Lu Yinning wanted to go deeper into the valley to have a look, but Russell felt his stomach growl. He stopped and pointed to the ”Honeypot Business” hanging not far away. ”The street entrance with several big characters.

There is a small commercial street built by the Honeypot Company a few years ago. There is not only the company’s official high-quality honey store, but also many small souvenir shops related to bees, as well as restaurants specializing in honey-made desserts.

The travel guide has repeatedly emphasized that when visiting Honeypot Valley, in addition to the scenery, the most important thing not to miss is the high-quality desserts made from original ecological materials in Honeypot Street.

Anyway, the sightseeing ticket is valid for a whole day. As a traveler from a country with big foodies, how can you miss the opportunity to taste delicious food!

Urged by hunger, they soon came to a dessert shop called ”Sweet Pet”.

”Two classic honey cakes, one vanilla pudding, honey cone, sweet and sour lemon ice cream...”

Smelling the appetizing aroma in the store, Russell clicked on the hot-selling products. If Lu Yinning hadn’t grabbed the menu in time, he might have ordered all the special dishes in the store.

Probably because of the dual labels of ”original ecology” and ”honeypot special”, the price of desserts here is more than twice as expensive as in Senluo City. A breakfast cost more than 200 credits, and Russell felt a little uncomfortable when paying the bill. Flesh hurts.

Fortunately, the quality of these desserts did not disappoint him. Even the honey cake with the simplest preparation process was quite soft and silky and melted in his mouth.

The honey produced by honeypot bees is indeed a high-quality product that is exported to several principalities. The light sweetness is just right everywhere. Even if you burp after eating it, it will not feel sweet or greasy.

In contrast, Russell felt that the desserts he made occasionally were just a support...

After eating and drinking, he and Lu Yinning traveled along the business district and tourist area, and experienced tourist projects such as giant flower cradle, dandelion gliding, and making honey cakes by themselves. They had a great time.

At dusk, the two of them arrived at the last stop of the tourist area - the honey pot hive, carrying large and small bags of specialty products.

Although it is called a beehive, it is indeed a place where honey bees store honey and support the queen bee. However, this ”honeycomb” is not entirely made of beeswax, but a huge transparent domed glass building.

The transparent glass allows the honey storage room to fully receive sunlight, accelerates the evaporation of water vapor, further increases honey production, and also gives visitors the opportunity to observe the life of the bee colony.

Bees are diurnal insects. As it gets darker, groups of honeypot bees carrying nectar return to their hives in an orderly manner. Under the command of the queen bee, they pour honey into the hexagonal nest.As the king of all honeypot bees in the valley, the queen bee is a gold-level insect pet beast. Her body shape is similar to that of an adult human. Her secret golden wings shine brightly in the sunset, and her two long tentacles reach to The wider the end, the more it floats around the body like a ribbon.

The most unique thing is that the queen bee also has a small ring of horn on her forehead, like a golden crown, which is very consistent with the image of a noble queen.

In terms of fighting alone, Queen Bee may not be as good as gold-level pet beasts such as Bloodfang Greedy Wolf, but it has the skill of the will of the swarm and can command all bee beasts within several kilometers nearby.

Unless the opponent’s defense is so strong that even the Silver-level Guard Bees cannot break through it, or has a powerful group attack ability that kills hundreds of Honey Pot Bees in an instant, even Platinum-level enemies will not be able to escape being beaten to death by the group. fate.

However, such a scene has not appeared for hundreds of years.

Honeypot Valley is the most important industrial line of Honeypot Company. The company has hired several high-level beast masters to be stationed here, and they also cooperate with the Senluo City garrison. Unless they encounter adult purple-gold-level pet beasts, they are fully capable. Keep interlopers out of Honey Pot Valley.

Including the queen bee, all the honeypot bees in the valley have been raised by the honeypot company since childhood. They have almost no hostility towards humans. Instead, they sometimes take out the finely brewed flower nectar and give it to tourists.

For this kind of gift, the honeypot company will not charge tourists, so hundreds of tourists come to the honeypot hive every day to admire the elegant figure of the queen bee at close range and also want to try their luck and see if they can Can’t get enough of that evocative jar of nectar.

Today, Russell has become this enviable lucky man.

Not long after he stepped into the honeypot hive, the queen bee, which was flying slowly around the honey storage room, seemed to sense something. It leaned down and landed, extended its tentacles and handed Russell a ball of nectar sealed with beeswax.

”Hey, this kid is so lucky. The last time I drank Baihua Honey, I spent more than 1000 credits on it. It was just a small cup...”

“Anyway, it’s just the ticket price, so it’s not a bad idea to take a photo with the Queen Bee up close~”

The other tourists around were either envious or excited, but without exception, all of them were attracted by the nectar.

Except for Russell, who was very close, no one noticed that the Queen Bee’s compound eyes seemed to contain some complicated emotions.

”At night... please come to the bluebell field.”

As they looked at each other, a majestic female voice came into his mind.

However, before the confused Russell could react, the queen bee had already fluttered away and flew back to the heights of the hive.

Faced with this sudden spiritual transmission, Russell stood there and fell into deep thought for a long time.

There seems to be no spiritual ability in Queen Bee’s records. Even with the strength of the gold-level pet beast’s mental power, it is far from reaching the level of telepathy that an average person can master.

But the voice just now was extremely clear, and it couldn’t be that he was hallucinating.

Could it be the special ability of the clan king, the lord’s pet?
Or is it because of the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent?

And what does it mean to go to a field of bluebells at night?
For a moment, Russell’s head was filled with questions.

From the experiences of Contracted Ayou and Daodao Mantis, it can be seen that the insect-type pet beasts can more or less feel the great benefits of the ”evolutionary cocoon” to their own growth, and thus have a natural affinity for him.

Therefore, Russell judged that this matter was definitely related to the ”Cocoon of Evolution” talent, but he was temporarily unclear about the purpose of Queen Bee.

But no matter what, it was difficult for him to ignore this spiritual message.

Anyway, this queen bee is the contracted pet beast of the chief honey brewer of the honey pot company. It is bound by the beast control space and cannot attack humans without permission.

He just went to the flower field to meet the queen bee as scheduled. Even if he didn’t gain anything, he wouldn’t suffer much loss.

After thinking over and over again, Russell decided to stay in Honeypot Valley for one night.
