Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 13 Black Dew Forest Trial GroundChapter 13 Black Dew Forest Trial Ground

After packing his luggage and resting peacefully for a night, Russell arrived at the towering city wall of Senluo City at 07:30 the next morning with his bulging luggage on his back.

There are all kinds of powerful creatures living in the wilds of the world of beast control. Any wild pet beast that breaks into the crowd may cause huge casualties. Therefore, cities near the wild areas are equipped with tall walls, and there are also legions of professional beast masters. stationed.

If you want to go to the Black Dew Forest Trial Ground, you have to pass through this wall.

There are a total of 50 maintenance personnel recruited at the trial site. Because the professional threshold is low and the pay is not high, the applicants are basically young people. A considerable number of them are students who should regard this part-time job as a field practice.

”Wow, that’s amazing!”

”Such a high wall is enough to resist purple-gold level wild beasts.”

Standing at the foot of the 30-meter-high city wall, many young beast masters who had never been to the wild expressed their admiration.

Standing on the city wall and looking at the young men and women chattering below as if they were out for a spring outing, Tu Tiezhu, the garrison instructor in charge of this maintenance task, sighed and shook his head helplessly.

Life in urban areas is still too peaceful, and these young people seem to have forgotten the horror of violent wild beasts.

When the time on the watch turned eight o’clock, Tu Tiezhu’s eyes condensed, his eyes flashed, and he counted the number of people from a distance of dozens of meters.

This is his beast control talent, a talent that is not very powerful, but is more practical than others - energy sharing.

This talent does not increase the pet beast itself, but it can significantly improve the energy feedback received by the beast master, and it can also slightly master the racial skills of the pet beast.

This type of talent is not easy to display in competitive battles where attacking the beast master is prohibited, but in the process of exploring and fighting in the wild, it can greatly improve the survivability of the beast master.

”48, 49, 50...”

Seeing that all fifty maintenance personnel had arrived, Tu Tiezhu took a big step and jumped directly from the city wall.

The next moment, cyan energy spurted out in mid-air, and a large dark cyan bird with metallic feathers appeared out of thin air, carrying Tu Tiezhu and falling steadily downwards.

This was his main pet beast, the gold-level pet beast Gale War Eagle with dual attributes of wind and steel. Tu Tiezhu’s superhuman vision just now came from his race’s natural ”Eagle Eye” skill.

call--

A giant eagle with a wingspan of three meters fell from the sky, and the strong wind almost blew away several young beast masters who gathered to watch.

Faced with the mature gold-level pet beast and seeing its sharp beak and giant claws at close range, the young beast masters finally remembered the dangers in the wild and calmed down.

”The city gates are about to open. Stop walking around and gather on the armored vehicles!”

The army attaches great importance to discipline. It’s time to set off. Tu Tiezhu shouted loudly without saying any nonsense.

Feeling the majesty radiating from him, none of the young people who had just left school dared to make any noise, and they all obeyed the order to line up and board the bus.

Following the crowd towards the 50-seater large armored vehicle, Russell felt a little nervous, but more excited.

After crossing the thick metal gate not far away, his career as a professional beast master has officially begun!

adventure!Become stronger!
Feeling the master’s emotions, Ayou also became eager to try in the beast control space.

With a heavy sound of mechanical operation, the city defense gate of Senluo City slowly opened, revealing a dense jungle before everyone’s eyes.

Countless towering ancient trees tower into the sky, and each branch is as thick as a small tree. From time to time, wild beasts poke their heads out of them, warily peeping at what’s going on below.

This is the original area that Senluo City has not been able to fully explore so far - the Black Dew Forest.

However, after decades of exploration, the periphery of the forest is now a semi-safe zone that has been reclaimed. Armored vehicles are slowly moving forward on the forest trails, while Tu Tiezhu and several stationed soldiers ride on their pet beasts to keep watch nearby.During the march, there were frequent noises in the surrounding woods, but there were a few mature pet beasts with rich combat experience guarding them. The wild pet beasts that came over quickly left in a hurry.

…………

After walking through the dense forest for nearly an hour, Russell noticed that the surrounding trees gradually showed signs of being pruned, and at regular intervals, he could see a columnar loudspeaker used to release expulsion sound waves.

These changes all mark that armored vehicles have arrived within the range of the Black Dew Forest Proving Ground.

Sure enough, a moment later, the armored vehicle stopped in front of a small camp surrounded by iron fences with ”Security Zone No. ” hanging at the door.

”Everyone should get off the car in an orderly manner, register at a safe point, and choose the maintenance area by themselves.”

After successfully arriving at the destination, Tu Tiezhu put away the Gale War Eagle and directed a group of maintenance personnel to enter the main tent of the No. safety zone.

In order to improve the trial effect, the Black Dew Forest Trial Ground contains not only the native creatures from the periphery of the forest, but also many pet beasts transported here from surrounding areas. It can be said that there are many varieties, and their habits and characteristics are also quite different from each other.

What Tu Tiezhu said about choosing a maintenance area means that part-time workers can choose the most familiar type of pet beast for maintenance based on their own abilities.

Safety Zone No. is located in the middle of the Black Dew Trial Ground. The distance to other safety zones is basically the same. When part-time workers choose a maintenance area, there will be dedicated professional beast masters to escort them to the surrounding safety zones.

”I am good at plant cultivation and can assist in planting cultivation materials in an area.”

”I am a recent graduate of Senluo Beast Control Academy, and I have a second-level certificate in raising pet birds.”

Regional allocation is related to the practical effect of part-time jobs. As soon as Tu Tiezhu finished speaking, everyone began to speak enthusiastically.

After some distribution, most people chose the prepared animal pens everywhere. There were a large number of wild beasts transported from long distances. Because they were wild and difficult to tame, they struggled along the way, and many were injured and weak. It was indeed a maintenance task. The heaviest place.

”What about you?”

After most of the crowd had dispersed, the registration staff noticed Russell standing at the door of the tent looking around like a curious baby.

”I’m good at breeding insect-type pets, and I want to go to Safe Zone No. 13.”

When the registration officer asked him, Russell answered simply.

As early as the beginning of registration, he selected the target area.

The NO.13 safety zone is close to the edge of the Black Dew Forest Trial Field. The trees there are shorter than those inside the dense forest. Due to the proximity to the stream and the humid climate, many mushrooms grow.

The object of Ayou’s training on dodge ability and energy accumulation this time is a bronze-level insect beast that lives in a mushroom-dense area - the thread ball spider.

”There are still vacancies in the maintenance position in the NO. 13 safety zone. Do you choose to go to the animal pen, or...”

After registering the zoning, the soldier continued to inquire about Russell’s intended detailed positions.

”I choose to go on my own and exercise my native wild animals.”

Before he could finish speaking, Russell pointed to a forest within the NO. 13 safety zone.

The thread ball spider is a native creature of the Black Dew Forest and does not need to be transported, so naturally it does not need to be kept in an animal pen.

Low-level insect-type pets reproduce very quickly, and maintenance personnel do not have to worry about the population size. The main maintenance task is to practice with the new wild pets and improve their combat capabilities as much as possible without harming them in order to buy tickets. Consumers entering the venue can get a better trial experience.

For him, who wants to help Ayou learn skills, moving freely is of course much more convenient than clocking in to work in the animal pen.

After completing a complete set of registrations, Russell boarded the armored vehicle again and followed a group of stationed soldiers on duty to No. 13 Security Zone.
