rustle----

Through the soul connection, Russell sensed that Ayou’s consciousness, which had been lost for several days, was gradually recovering. This was a typical sign of successful evolution. He was so excited that he lay beside the incubation box and stared at the cocoon, fearing that he would miss anything. detail.

At this time, the proportion of life energy in the cocoon is 62% insect energy and 38% ghost energy. Under the premise of maintaining the dominance of insect energy, this is the best result that Russell tried his best to screen.

After almost two days and two nights of transformation, Ayou’s condition has become almost stable. Russell can feel the vigorous vitality in the cocoon, as well as its eagerness to break out of the cocoon.

After another half hour, the black mist slowly converged, and all the spilled life energy flowed back into Ayou’s body, and even the energy on the cocoon was swallowed up.

Ka-!
The next moment, the cocoon that had become dry and black due to the loss of energy shattered, and a black figure appeared in Russell’s field of vision.

Ayou, who had just emerged from the cocoon, was still a little weak. Its slender body lay quietly at the bottom of the incubator, and its unexpanded wings on its back looked wet.

At the same time as he broke out of the cocoon, a warm current instantly flowed through Russell’s body. In an unprecedented sense of comfort, Ayou’s detailed information appeared in his mind.

”UFO Hawkmoth

Attributes: insect, ghost

Bloodline Level: Silver
Life energy level: Level

Skills: Dark Scale Powder, Shadow Arrow
Growth progress: 10%

Among them, insect energy accounts for 6% and ghost energy accounts for 4%.

Ability development: None”

The level of the beast master is the same as the highest level of the pet beast contracted. After Ayou evolved, the life energy level was raised to the second level. Russell also naturally became the second level beast master. This was an expected gain.

But what he didn’t expect was that Ayou’s bloodline level would actually rise from bronze to silver.

Although the bloodline level is a standard set by humans to distinguish the potential of pet beasts, and it is not an insurmountable barrier, the classification standards from black iron to bronze, silver, gold, platinum, purple gold, and even the legendary crystal level have also gone through It was formed after hundreds of thousands of years of practice and based on the attributes of tens of thousands of pet beasts.

The ”Beast Control Encyclopedia” classifies the UFO Hawk Moth as a bronze-level pet beast, which means that at least in public perception, the vast majority of UFO Hawk Moths can only stay at the Bronze level throughout their lives.

Of course, there are several records about Silver-level UFO Hawkmoths that can be found in the alliance’s database open to all citizens, but those are the result of years of cultivation, which is completely different from Ayou’s situation of reaching Silver level as soon as he evolves. And words.

”The Cocoon of Evolution is indeed powerful enough!”

Ayou’s perfect first evolution made Russell even more confident in his goal of bringing a team of insect beasts to challenge city gyms and league competitions.

The only slight regret is that Ayou’s awakening skills after evolution are still a bit mediocre.

Among the two skills it currently masters, Shadow Arrow is a decent ghost attack skill. It is only slightly more powerful than skills such as resentment and fright, and has no special additional effects.

The skill effect of Dark Scale Powder is to use a special refraction effect to make its own flight path difficult to capture, passively increase the dodge rate, and active use will scatter powder that can cause temporary blindness. Overall, it is a more practical skill. Defense skills.

However, Dark Scale Powder is a racial talent skill of the UFO Hawk Moth. As long as the wings are not disabled, any UFO Hawk Moth can learn it. It is not the result of Russell’s careful cultivation.

After each evolution, the pet beast will enter a buffer period for digesting and receiving the results of evolution. At this time, it is very inefficient to continue to feed cultivation materials, so he plans to use this time to perfect Ayou’s skill combination.

There are generally two ways for pet beasts to learn skills. One is to directly purchase skill stones that contain skill inheritance. However, the skill stones available on the market are all conventional skills, which are not much better than Shadow Arrow. .

At the same time, this simple and crude teaching method also has certain side effects. After a pet uses a skill stone to directly learn a certain skill, its proficiency is likely to stay at the ”merely usable” level for a long time, making it difficult to continue to improve to the point of flexible use. .

The second is to learn the skills on your own through continuous practice and combat. The skills mastered by the pet beast in this way can be used proficiently from the beginning, and it is possible to learn the same series of advanced skills in the future.

But learning skills on your own also has its drawbacks, that is, the process of learning is full of uncertainty. How long does it take to practice to understand, whether the direction of understanding is wrong, and whether you will learn a completely useless skill after working hard, these are all issues that must be faced.

But Russell is not worried about this problem at all.

Since the insect-type pet information displayed in ”Cocoon of Evolution” includes the ”Skill Development” column, it can probably display the development progress and skill types.

As long as there were no mistakes in the final result and the understanding process took a little more time and trouble, he could afford to wait.

”What skill is better to master...?”

Russell thought about the insect and ghost skills he knew in his mind.

If he could choose, he would certainly want Ayou to directly learn powerful high-level skills such as Night Claw and Ghost Surprise Attack, which also have additional effects such as locking and fear.

It’s a pity that Ayou is only at the second level of silver level. Even if you use skill stones, it is almost impossible to master high-level skills, let alone comprehend them on your own.

Of course, being unable to learn high-level skills does not mean that your combat effectiveness must be very low.

The situation in actual combat changes rapidly, and it is not just about talking on paper and blindly comparing the level of pet beasts and the power of skills to judge the outcome.

As long as the low-level skills are properly matched and the effect of one plus one is greater than two, the effect in actual combat is not necessarily worse than the high-level skills that have been barely mastered.

For example, Ji Yunchuan, the legendary beastmaster known as the ”Son of the Wind” and ranked second among the four kings of the alliance, has his signature pet beast, a frost clouded leopard with platinum bloodline.

Frost Cloud Leopard, a pet beast of this level, is still somewhat popular in Senluo City, but when it comes to the high-end competitions of the Beast Control League, especially the King of Heaven Ranking Competition, the Platinum-level bloodline is quite ordinary, and even somewhat unattractive. .

However, Ji Yunchuan’s frost clouded leopard mastered the two low-level skills of Cloud Stepping and Wind Pressure. Under the skillful command of the beast master, it was able to defeat a large group of opponents whose blood was superior to its own.

Relying on continuously stepping on the clouds to reach a high altitude, and continuously superimposing wind pressure during the jump, this unique skill called ”Wind Rolling Remaining Clouds” has been used to defeat the Purple Gold Level Thunderdramon’s unique skill ”Sky Sky Thunder” without falling behind. of amazing power.

If Thunderdramon hadn’t had an advantage in attributes and its endurance was much higher than the agile Frost Cloud Leopard, the first and second picks among the current Four Heavenly Kings might have been exchanged.

Not afraid of the disadvantages of bloodline, using the ingenious combination of low-level skills to the extreme, this way of winning with the weak overcoming the strong and full of unyielding will is particularly suitable for the insect beasts with inherent deficiencies.

If Ayou could be like the Frost Clouded Leopard, facing powerful enemies in the league despite theoretical disadvantages in all aspects, the insect-type pet beast would be proud and proud...

call--

As if sensing the owner’s fighting spirit, a ghostly shadow rushed out of the incubation box.

At this time, Ayou’s wings were fully extended. It waved its crystal clear wings like gray gems and flew excitedly around Russell.

Become stronger!fight!
After the evolution, Ayou’s intelligence has obviously improved a lot. Through the spiritual link, Russell can already clearly feel the simple information transmitted by it.

”Doesn’t this mean that moth pet beasts are timid? Does the cocoon of evolution also have the effect of increasing fighting spirit...?”

Recalling the record in the ”Beast Control Encyclopedia” about the UFO Hawkmoth being timid and cautious and good at escaping, and then comparing it to Ayou who kept flapping his wings as if he was about to fight a battle, he couldn’t help but feel that something was wrong with the painting style.

However, the description of the ”Dark Scale Powder” skill in the illustrated book is quite accurate. The flight path is erratic and difficult to catch with the naked eye. This is exactly the intuitive feeling Ayou gave Russell while flying.

”High dodge characteristics, coupled with ghost skills... this combination seems feasible!”

Seeing Ayou jumping up and down like a ghost shadow, Russell suddenly had a flash of inspiration in his heart, and he suddenly had a new idea about its growth plan.
