Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 11 First Battle ExperienceChapter 11 First Battle Experience

After leaving the Chongwu House and walking along Fenglin Road for less than half a kilometer, the three of them came to a wide training ground the size of a basketball court.

In order to encourage the development of beast control for all, the league officially built many public training venues for the public to use. The properties are actually similar to public stadiums in the world, except that the venues are more solid and have low-level solar protection fields installed around them.

After all, it is a place for pet beasts to fight. If it is not fortified, the aftermath of the battle is likely to affect nearby people and buildings.

However, the defensive power of the low-level protective force field is very limited, so this public training ground is only open to beast masters below the fourth level.

Fenglin Road is close to the suburbs and is a bit remote. Not many beast masters usually come here to fight. After showing the identity information of both parties to the administrator at the entrance of the training ground, Russell and Lu Dahu entered the training ground smoothly.

”Hey, old man, let’s go and join in the fun.”

”There’s someone competing. The one on the left seems to be the handsome boss of the Insect Control House?”

”I think the one on the right is more handsome, he’s 1.8 meters tall~”

As the light blue defensive force field rose, onlookers in twos and threes began to gather near the training ground.

Although there are not many professional beast masters, exciting beast master battles have always been one of the main pastimes for people after dinner.

If you can encounter a live battle in the streets and alleys, as long as it is not very busy, most people will stop and watch for a while.

Standing at one end of the training ground, Russell raised his hand and summoned Ayou.

A burst of light flashed, and Ayou flew out from the beast-controlling space. Its gray wings showed a hazy and mysterious crystal texture in the sunlight. The light and shadow flowed as it flew, making it look really beautiful.

It’s a pity that few people can appreciate this beauty in the battle of beasts where strength is the most important thing.

”...?”

Lu Dahu’s expression became a little strange when he saw that his good brother’s initial pet was actually a UFO Hawkmoth that was considered weak.

Compared to him who hesitated to speak due to brotherly affection, the comments made by passers-by were much more straightforward.

”Is this little guy obsessed with raising silkworms and selling silk, so much so that he actually contracted a UFO Hawkmoth?”

”The Demon Dog vs. the UFO Hawkmoth seems like nothing to see. The battle will be over within ten seconds.”

These complaints are indeed not pleasant to listen to, but they are not unreasonable.

The fire element restrains the insect element, the evil element also suppresses the ghost element, and the demon dog’s bloodline level and life energy level are also significantly higher. In this battle, Ayou is at an all-round disadvantage.

However, Russell was not shocked by these remarks at all. Instead, he felt aroused after hearing all the doubts.

The first battle with an unfavorable reverse attribute, isn’t this the standard treatment that only the protagonist gets?

”Ayou, are you confident?”

Taking a deep breath, Russell sent a message to Ayou through the spiritual connection.

fight!fight!
Ayou’s current intelligence is still relatively limited. It answered concisely and concisely, but it was also not timid at all.

”Battle begins!”

At this time, the whistle from the administrator’s mouth sounded at the right time.

Before the whistle blew, Lu Dahu had already put away his stunned expression and quickly entered a fighting state.

As a top graduate of the combat department, he knows that giving your opponent the greatest respect is to give your best in any competition.

”Devil Dog, jump up and use Hell Strike!”

Although the Devil Dog was strong, it did not master long-range attack skills. In order to avoid being beaten on the ground, Lu Dahu decisively chose to attack first.

Upon receiving the order, the devil dog bowed its hind legs, then jumped up high and pounced towards Ayou in mid-air.

Although moth pet beasts are good at continuously turning and dodging in the air, there is a big gap between them and birds in terms of flying height. The devil dog’s full leap can reach a height of three to five meters, which can completely threaten the Ah flying at low altitude. quiet.

At the same time, a group of intense black flames quickly condensed on its right front paw. Several meters away, Russell could still feel the heat contained in the dark flames and the violent dark aura.

With Ayou’s small body, if he was hit by a heavy blow from the Black Prison, he would probably lose his ability to fight on the spot.Fortunately, ordinary land creatures cannot use their strength again after leaping into the air. It is not difficult to predict the direction and angle of the attack. Ayou flapped his wings and dodged to the side, easily avoiding the demon dog’s probing blow.

”Ayou, fly back and forth around the devil dog, looking for opportunities to sprinkle scale powder into its eyes.”

The first round of confrontation was slightly better. Russell did not choose to launch an offensive in mid-air. Instead, he unexpectedly directed Ayou to fly back against the devil dog.

Taking advantage of the air to attack ground targets is indeed a conventional combat idea, but it does not work in all situations.

Although the shadow arrow shoots very fast, its damage range is only in a straight line, while the devil dog has a strong figure and excellent endurance. After landing in the air, it kept running and moving, obviously guarding against Ayou’s counterattack.

If you blindly pursue a safe distance and hide too far away, it will be difficult for the shadow arrows shot from a distance to hit the opponent.

The devil dog’s endurance is much stronger than Ayou’s. A war of attrition seems to be beneficial to Ayou who has the advantage in range, but in fact it is slowly losing.

Therefore, Russell decided to take things by surprise and make a surprise attack.

The subsequent change in the battle situation fully proved that his strategy was correct.

Neither Lu Dahu nor Devil Dog expected that a UFO Hawkmoth would dare to fight a gold-level hand-to-hand pet beast in close combat. They saw a ghostly black shadow flash past in front of them, and it was caught off guard by the Dark Scale Powder. Face full.

Roar……!
The eyes are one of the most fragile organs in most creatures. Suddenly a large amount of irritating scale powder was sprinkled into the eyes, and the devil dog couldn’t help but howl.

”While now, use Shadow Arrow continuously!”

After successfully making the devil dog blind, Russell immediately asked Ayou to launch a fierce attack.

As Ayou continued to flap his wings to gather energy, shadow arrows fell one after another like raindrops. Even though the effect of ghost-type skills on evil-type targets was somewhat attenuated, the demon dog was still defeated and kept wailing.

”Devil Dog, run and wait for your vision to recover while moving.”

Unexpectedly, underestimating the enemy for a moment actually put him at an absolute disadvantage. Lu Dahu quickly changed his strategy, from a strong attack to a roundabout defense.

After all, Dark Scale Powder is not a specialized control skill, and the blindness effect caused by it will not last long. As long as this period of time is delayed, he is confident that he will never suffer a second loss.

After receiving the order from the beast master, the devil dog barely opened its eyelids and ran around the field with its still blurry vision.

”Ayou, fly close to the devil dog and continue the offensive.”

Unexpectedly, Russell’s playing style was particularly shameless. Taking advantage of the poor eyesight of the devil dog, his running speed was greatly reduced. He simply let Ayou chase after him, obviously not wanting the devil dog to recover its eyesight easily.

As long as you dare to open your eyes, you will be rewarded with another ball of scale powder.

”...Why is this UFO Hawkmoth so powerful?”

Seeing the devil dog being beaten with no room to fight back, Lu Dahu couldn’t help but begin to doubt his life.

Although this situation was caused by his own underestimation of the enemy, and Russell’s command was also wonderful, the various qualities of his UFO Hawkmoth also refreshed Lu Dahu’s understanding.

Timid and timid, weak in ghost attributes, and lacking in ghost abilities, these descriptions are completely opposite to Ayou.

Lu Dahu even felt that he was facing a creature like a violent shadow bat...

He must quickly think of a way to break the situation, otherwise even if the devil dog has the advantage, there will always be times when he cannot withstand such continuous attacks.

…………

However, just when Lu Dahu was frowning, Russell’s tired voice suddenly came from the other side of the training ground.

”Phew, I admit defeat...”

It turned out that Ayou was too excited for the first battle. After firing dozens of shadow arrows, the energy in its body had been drained out. At this time, it was barely able to flap its wings and keep afloat. It still had the strength to continue chasing the demon. Dogs beat severely.

If the pet beast is over-consumed, the beast master will also fall into a weak state.

This is the consequence of young bugs not knowing how to exercise control...

Facing this sudden victory, there was not much joy on Lu Dahu’s face.
