Beast Taming: Becoming a Bug-type Elite Four Member Starting with Silkworm Raising

Chapter 23 Fierce BattleChapter 23 Fierce Battle

Waiting for Ayou to completely escape from fear and return to the best condition, Russell quickly issued a new strategy to it:

”Ayou, continue to use Butterfly Shadow. When the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf opens its mouth, you can spread the scale powder directly.”

Whether it is Butterfly Shadow or Nether Explosion, you must keep your mental power stable before releasing it. Before starting to counterattack, you must first solve the problem that the fear howl can interrupt Ayou’s skills from a long distance.

After receiving the order, Ayou flapped his wings and turned into five phantoms again, hovering over the Bloody Greedy Wolf.

Seeing Russell repeating his old tricks, Xiang Heng thought he was at the end of his rope.

It can be seen from Ayou’s performance just now that its strength is indeed much stronger than the ordinary UFO Hawkmoth, but the UFO Hawkmoth is not a durable beast after all. In a protracted war, Xiang Heng is naturally willing to accompany it.

Whenever Ayou dispersed his phantom, he would order the Bloody Greedy Wolf to howl in fear, then pounce into the air, trying to attack Ayou who revealed his true form.

Fortunately, Russell had planned a strategy for Ayou in advance. No matter what Xiang Heng planned, as soon as the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf raised his head, Ayou would immediately scatter a large amount of scale powder to block his sight, making his subsequent attacks in vain. return.

The advantage of mental control is that it can penetrate most defensive skills and is difficult to resist, but the effect will decrease with continuous use.

After several rounds and maneuvers, the fear effect caused by the fearful howl on Ayou has become very weak.

When another wolf howl failed to disperse the butterfly shadow in the air, Russell seized the opportunity and immediately let Ayou condense the ghost energy.

”Have you developed resistance? However, the consumption of using phantom skills multiple times in succession is not small. Blood-fang Greedy Wolf, stop howling and attack directly.”

Seeing this scene, Xiang Heng also realized that the fear howl lost its effect in a short period of time, but he had anticipated this situation, and then calmly commanded the Bloody Greedy Wolf to use normal attacks to continue to consume Ayou’s energy. .

Even if the efficiency of attacking to break the phantoms is not as high as the howling of fear, one jump can still break one or two phantoms. As long as this flapping moth has no other means of counterattack, it is only a matter of time before the energy is exhausted.

Probably Russell never chose to attack, which gave Xiang Heng the illusion that Ayou’s attack ability was weak and he could only dodge to delay the attack. Seeing Ayou running away in front of the Blood Pressure Greedy Wolf, he couldn’t help but feel a kind of cat scratching in his heart. The playful mood of the mouse,
But Xiang Heng’s arrogance did not last long. After a few breaths, he immediately realized the intensity of Ayou’s attack.

When the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf pounced on the phantom again and fell back to the ground to adjust its posture and prepare to take off again, Ayou quietly completed the charge of Nether Explosion.

hum ---

Accompanied by a low buzzing sound, a gray ball of light quickly emerged in front of the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf, and then exploded with a bang. The violent air waves caused ripples in the high-level protective stance that could withstand attacks below level six.

Based on the high power of the skill, even if the level and attributes are inferior, this Netherworld explosion is enough to severely damage the Bloodfang Greedy Wolf.

Unfortunately, Xiang Heng’s blood-fang greedy wolf was indeed very powerful. With its keen fighting instinct, it sensed danger in advance and jumped back in time to avoid the frontal impact of ghost energy.

Only hit by the aftermath, the Bloodfang Greedy Wolf’s forelimbs were slightly injured, but it did not affect his ability to continue fighting.

Unexpectedly, the first person injured in the battle was the Bloody Fang Greedy Wolf, and an extremely heated discussion immediately began in the audience.

”What the hell...this UFO Hawk Moth actually learned Nether Explosion?”

”To be able to reach the group stage, I still have two tools.”

”You guys have gone to sleep during class. Nether Explosion is just an ordinary low-level skill. Why is it so strange that a pet with ghost attributes can learn it?”

”But I remember that the charging time of this skill is about five seconds. The opponent stood still for such a long time, and the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf couldn’t interrupt the spell casting. His strength is still not very good.”

Xiang Heng frowned when he heard the discussion started to reverse direction.

The ace pet beast that he was proud of was almost killed by an inconspicuous UFO Hawkmoth. He put away his playful expression and ordered the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf to run quickly in the arena.

Xiang Heng did not plan to attack rashly again before he was sure what other methods the UFO Hawk Moth had.

Seeing that Xueya Greedy Wolf was no longer attacking, Russell decided to take advantage of the air superiority and let Ayou release Nether Explosion continuously, bombarding it indiscriminately.

However, the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf ran very fast, and Xiang Heng specifically ordered it to run a few steps and then immediately change directions. This made it difficult for Ayou to lock the blood-fang Greedy Wolf’s running trajectory and predict the release location of the Netherworld Explosion.

hum-

buzzing————

Several consecutive Nether Explosions failed to hit the target. Instead, Ayou, who had consumed more than half of his energy, appeared a little tired.

Observing this, Xiang Heng felt like he was in control of the overall situation again.Russell’s command level is not low, and he is not a reckless man who attacks without thinking. If there were better attack methods, he would not choose such an unsustainable combat method.

When the opponent is already on guard, it is likely that this UFO Hawk Moth has no other better attack skills when it continuously releases Nether Explosion that consumes a lot of energy.

Moreover, taking advantage of Xueya Greedy Wolf’s continuous efforts to avoid Netherworld blasts, he also silently recorded the vacuum period of Ayou’s attack.

No more, no less, exactly four and a half seconds.

In other words, as long as he dodges a netherworld blast and manages to get close within four and a half seconds, the Bloodfang Greedy Wolf has a chance to win the battle in one fell swoop.

”Bloodfang Greedy Wolf, run back, attack immediately after dodging the next attack.”

Feeling that he had successfully tested Russell’s full strength, Xiang Heng smiled and sent a new order to the Bloody Greedy Wolf.

A few seconds later, Ayou waved his wings, and the gray light ball exploded again.

While Xiang Heng was observing the interval between Ayou’s attacks, Russell and Ayou were also constantly observing the running trajectory of the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf. The location of this Nether blast was very tricky. Even though the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf was highly vigilant and tried its best to avoid it, its body There was a new injury on the side.

Feeling the pain of being eroded by the ghost energy, the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf staggered twice, but it quickly stabilized its figure and continued to charge towards Ayou with its teeth bared.

In about two seconds, Xueya Greedy Wolf endured the pain and rushed below Ayou.

In the third second, Ayou flew backwards for a short distance, and then condensed the ghost energy again.

In the fourth second, the Bloody Greedy Wolf jumped up with all its strength under Xiang Heng’s command.

”Right now, jump up and use Howl of Fear, then connect with Bloody Fangs!”

Seeing that the time was right, Xiang Heng decisively let the Bloody Greedy Wolf launch the final fierce attack.

As time goes by, the diminishing effect of mental control will slowly reset, and releasing it at close range can inherently improve the effect of sonic skills. Xiang Heng has full confidence in whether the wolf howl can interrupt the opponent’s skills this time.

As long as there is no annoying phantom interference, the UFO Hawkmoth, who is in a state of fear, has no way to resist the attack of the Blood-fang Greedy Wolf.

However, just when the Bloody Greedy Wolf opened its big mouth and Xiang Heng felt that the victory was determined, a gray ball of light suddenly appeared between it and Ayou.

”Ayou, Netherworld Explosion!”

At the other end of the arena, Russell also issued the last order to Ayou almost at the same time.

When the Nether Explosion hit the air continuously and Xiang Heng suddenly ordered the Bloody Greedy Wolf to turn back, he could see the opponent’s intention.

Seizing the vacuum period of skill release to close the distance is a conventional tactic for melee beasts to deal with long-range beasts.

As long as you can accurately judge the opponent’s attack mode and the length of the vacuum period, this uncomplicated tactic can have a winning effect.

But Russell did not panic because of this. The approaching of the Bloody Fang Greedy Wolf was also an opportunity that he could not miss.

After an all-out attack, Ayou’s remaining energy would be enough for it to release three or four more Nether Explosions at most. If it couldn’t win before then, it would be a direct defeat.

When the Bloody Greedy Wolf leaps and cannot use its force, the Netherworld Explosion is most likely to hit.

Therefore, he quietly ordered Ayou to position the release position of this Netherworld blast in front of him.

Shortening the release distance can slightly reduce the charging time.

Although this time may only be a difference of or seconds, it is enough for the Nether Explosion to take shape before the wolf howl sounds.

…………

The next moment, the Nether Explosion exploded with a bang, and the two pet beasts in the air flew out at the same time.

”What an unexpected result! Both the UFO Hawk Moth and the Bloody Fang Greedy Wolf have lost the ability to fight, and the score is now one to one!”

A low-level battle could go through such twists and turns, and in the end both sides fought hard to lose. Even Lindsay, who had to host thousands of battles every year, was a little excited.
