Bang bang bang…

A series of gunshots rang out in the dead of night.

This was followed by piercing screams and shouts.

However, all this went unanswered, at most causing the neighbors to grip their firearms tighter.

Texas.

As the state most influenced by cowboy culture and overflowing with guns, it had completely turned into a battlefield after the government lost control following the departure of the ‘Runaway Fleet’ from Earth.

Every day saw endless gunfights.

A small skirmish involved three to five people, but the real excitement was in battles with three to five hundred, and it was sheer madness when the numbers exceeded a thousand.

Initially, everyone was desperate.

They thought that Earth was doomed and there was no hope.

That’s why they went out seeking thrills, fearless even in the face of death.

Until yesterday… when the black dwarf star was destroyed.

The Earth was safe, and humanity was not going to perish.

This…

A group of crazed people were dumbfounded.

What to do next?

Restore order?

Who would do it?

Now, in the entire United States, apart from the middle class, only some small rich people were left, those with a net worth of tens of millions.

In this situation, restoring the original order was simply impossible.

Those accustomed to freedom found the current chaos exciting, and even began to form their own factions.

It was like a dance of demons.

Three to five hundred people occupied a street block.

A thousand to eighteen hundred took over a district.

Every day, from morning to night, the air was filled with a sense of freedom.

However, that night, at a farm in Texas, the situation began to change.

About five thousand people appeared, all wearing individual exoskeleton armor, accompanied by mechanical dogs, and followed by armored personnel carriers.

‘■Tonight’s mission is to head to the Sea of Blood Gang, Cult of the Dead, and Doomsday Camp, three large organizations entrenched in the city.

“The map has been loaded, the enemies marked, and all targets deemed as enemies by the system must be eliminated.

-Begin boarding the vehicles, we’re moving out.”

After giving orders to the five thousand people, the middle-aged man in charge of the farm returned to his room and entered the study.

There, another man was drinking tea.

“Mr. Han, by tomorrow we will control most of Texas, and we’ll need to restore public life. We hope you can provide assistance.”

“Of course, we’re partners, these are minor issues.

“Thank you very much.”

The conversation between the two was very harmonious.

Elsewhere.

Tang Rui, looking at the red and green dots on the big screen, was a bit

perplexed.

■■Red Lotus, are you sure all these red dots you’ve marked are murderers?”

“Yes, Master. According to your instructions, everyone’s actions have been monitored for the past half month.

Those marked with red enemy symbols are all individuals who participated in gunfights, committed murder, and violated women’s consent during this period.”

Hearing Red Lotus’s answer, what more could he say?

But the problem was, if all the red dots on the map were eliminated, how many people would be left?

-Red Lotus, show all the survivors, mark those with no criminal records in green, those who have committed robbery or theft but haven’t caused death or serious injury in yellow.”

“Okay, Master, Red Lotus is compiling the data.”

TWO seconds later, a lot of yellow dots and a few green dots appeared on the

big screen.

Wow.

Those marked with green, representing people without criminal records, accounted for less than five percent of the total population, while those with yellow marks, who had committed robbery or theft but without causing death or serious injury, made up forty percent.

The rest were all marked in red.

“Well, let’s proceed with the plan as intended.

After seeing this, Tang Rui didn’t bother asking any more questions. As the armored personnel carriers entered the city, the soldiers disembarked and, under the direction of the battlefield system, began attacking the enemies.

All those marked in red by Red Lotus were considered enemies.

Those marked in yellow were not enemies, but if they showed malicious intent, they could be shot on sight.

As for those marked in green, they were the ones to be rescued.

Bang bang bang…

The streets, previously filled with screams, now echoed with gunfire again.

However, this time, it wasn’t the criminals firing.

The criminals hardly had time to react before they were wiped out. “Report, the Skull Gang in the third district has been eliminated, and three injured survivors were found.”

“Continue the mission, the rescue team for the survivors will arrive soon.”

“Understood.”

The battlefield system recorded their achievements and issued new missions.

Eliminate the Skull Gang headquarters in the third district.

It used to be a five-star hotel but was now occupied by the Skull Gang.

There were no innocent people inside.

The soldiers, following the instructions from the battlefield system, used grenade launchers on the armored personnel carriers to cover the hotel with fire, followed by tactical infiltration.

For a time, the entire city resounded with the roar of gunfire and intense exchanges of fire, awakening people who had already fallen asleep.

Those in their rooms cautiously approached their windows, weapons in hand, to observe the situation outside.

“The National Guard?”

A survivor, upon seeing the situation outside, excitedly said.

Before, they had no good feelings towards the National Guard, but now they were extremely excited.

After all, even poor order was better than no order.

With the soldiers eliminating criminals and terrorists, the city finally returned to normal by the next morning.

Communication towers were repaired promptly.

Then, everyone could receive messages on their phones.

A force called the Texas Freedom Organization had taken control of the city and cleared out all criminals and terrorists.

Now, this organization was recruiting, preparing to organize people to restore production and build a government framework.

“Are you soldiers from the original government?”

Some curious people came out to the streets, asking the soldiers patrolling the roads, wanting to understand the situation.

“Shit, we’re not soldiers from that crappy old government, we’re soldiers of the Freedom Organization.”

Upon learning the specifics, the public didn’t think the soldiers were wrong. If it weren’t for that crap, why would the tycoons and political families have fle .

Of course, they were not very clear about the specifics of the Texas Freedom Organization, but it seemed alright.

At least they didn’t have to worry about getting into shootouts with gang criminals or having their food robbed when stepping out.

That afternoon, five transport planes landed at the city’s airport.

Food, drinking water, and relief supplies, all marked with Chinese characters, were delivered there.

With food and relief supplies, the establishment of order was initially stabilized.

As for restoring production?

That wasn’t possible in the short term.

After all, the entire framework had yet to be properly established, and various forms of support were still needed.

However, this support wasn’t free.

The signal base stations were built by Huawei, a mobile company opened a temporary office, Tencent promoted WeChat, and the Crimson took over the electricity grid…

In short, Chinese companies were busy.

Busy expanding their markets..
