For Help

“Tang Rui, dressed in bumpkin fashion, arrived in Beijing.

This time he did not wear a suit, but clothes tailor-made from a tailor shop in Jinling.

It was hard to describe the style.

Anyway, it was very comfortable to wear and looked very handsome.

There wasn’t much to say about the award ceremony.

Although he was the youngest one there, there were also quite a few young people among the awardees.

A thirty-something researcher, calling them young was certainly not an exaggeration.

The whole award process went smoothly and harmoniously.

There were no incidents of showing off or being humiliated.

There were quite a few people who came running to build relationships and get familiar.

After all, the biggest topic in academic circles during this period had been the national future aerospace strategy.

Each of these plans involved real money investments.

Each plan’s chief designer had significant autonomy and decision-making power.

Funding and such were not a big issue.

For such projects, basic funding was guaranteed, and there was no need to run around departments for funds.

But in these plans, there is something more important than funding, and that is staffing.

Tang Rui hadn’t paid much attention to this issue recently.

But he still managed to understand some aspects of it.

The future research institute model would see some changes.

The current research institutes were a bit rigid.

But it’s not realistic to completely restructure research institutes.

After all, researchers and scientists were not civil servants.

You could recruit as many civil servants as you wanted, but researchers and scientists were not so plentiful.

So, the current model needed to be modified.

It involved creating a new framework.

The current aerospace plans were of this framework, still in the experimental stage.

If this model had problems, then after the plan ended, everyone would go their separate ways.

If this model didn’t have problems and even achieved good results, then the framework could be directly finalized.

That was why the staffing for each project this time was more precious than usual.

Tang Rui was not interested in participating in such matters.

So, after the meeting ended, he went to find Professor Yu.

Compared to major universities, he was more willing to cooperate with the military.

Moreover, the projects he was responsible for were all related to weaponry, so the military was naturally involved.

So, he left the staffing issues and a bunch of troublesome matters to Professor Yu and the military.

As long as the people under him showed real ability once the project started, nothing else was important.

He stayed in the capital for a few days.

If not receiving awards, then attending meetings, busy as ever without actually doing anything.

“Professor, I’m heading back now that things here are wrapped up,” he said after the necessary meetings were over.

Tang Rui then directly left, not daring to stay in the capital any longer.

“Okay, I’ll get you the personnel details by the end of the month. Take a look then and confirm.

The entire project will start early next year, so make a comprehensive plan on your end.”

Professor Yu nodded, not minding Tang Rui’s hasty departure.

In his view, the young Tang Rui should focus his energy on scientific research and not bother with other matters.

No one dared to target him anyway.

As for the matters Tang Rui disliked dealing with, they were actually big opportunities for others.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t connect with Tang Rui.

“Alright, then Professor, I’ll be leaving now,” Tang Rui nodded and then got ready to leave in his car.

But just then, Professor Ouyang suddenly ran over, urgently calling out to Tang Rui.

“Director Tang, wait a minute, I need your help urgently.”

“Slow down, I’m not running, don’t rush.”

Seeing Professor Ouyang running over, gasping for breath, Tang Rui quickly got out of the car to meet him.

“Don’t worry, I know my own body, I can hold on for another ten years without any problem,” Professor Ouyang stopped and said with a smile after catching his breath.

“That’s for sure, not just ten years, even thirty years won’t be a problem,” Tang Rui quickly agreed.

“Alright, let’s not talk about this, I urgently need your help with something, and don’t worry, it’s not about a meeting.”

“What’s the matter?” Tang Rui asked curiously.

He previously researched magnetic fields and wormholes, and was considered an expert in the field of physics. But Professor Ouyang, as a big name in high-energy physics, should not need his help given their different fields.

“There’s a problem with the magnetic field research at the High-Consumption Hadron Collider.”

Problems with the Hadron Collider research?

That shouldn’t be happening.

As the most impressive and expensive piece of experimental equipment in the domestic natural science field, the best technology must have been used.

Tang Rui did not withhold any proprietary technology, such as superconducting materials, high-strength materials, supercapacitors, etc., all of which were made available to the Hadron Collider project.

Logically, with so many advanced technologies, there should be no problems, especially not with the magnetic field, which is the least likely to have issues.

“What’s wrong with the magnetic field?” Tang Rui asked curiously.

“Professor Li is planning to increase the scale of the Hadron Collider, so the requirements for the acceleration magnetic field are higher.

The issues you wrote about in your paper regarding magnetic field transformation and control excited him, and he made improvements to the new equipment.

But there were problems with the improvements. The magnetic field strength calculated and designed based on your formulas reached 180T.

But when actually created, the magnetic field strength was only 163T, missing 17T, and they can’t find the reason.”

Professor Ouyang explained the situation to Tang Rui.

“Let me calculate.”

After hearing this, Tang Rui immediately asked Honglian to calculate whether there was any problem with the 180T magnetic field strength.

The result was that there was no problem.

The magnetic field strength could definitely be raised to 180T, and with superconducting materials, as long as the electrical energy keeps up, there should be no problem.

“Where are they? I’ll go take a look.”

Tang Rui thought for a moment and asked.

He was also curious about what went wrong.

“At the High Energy Physics Research Institute.”

“I’m going there now.”

“I’ll go with you.”

After greeting Professor Yu, the two got into Tang Rui’s car and headed to the High Energy Physics Research Institute.

Forty minutes later.

The motorhome entered the gates of the High Energy Institute.

“Professor Tang, I’m sorry to trouble you with this,” Professor Li said as he approached Tang Rui.

“It’s alright, I was free anyway. It’s a great opportunity for me to come and learn. Thank you, Professor Li.”

After a round of mutual business flattery, the three arrived at the laboratory.

Professor Li handed Tang Rui the data they had been researching these days.

“This is the data from our experimental tests. The discrepancy between theory and reality is too great. We’ve been searching repeatedly but can’t find the problem. We can only ask for your help now.”

“Okay, let me take a look.”

Tang Rui took the materials and began to look through them..”
