“Our satellite was destroyed.”

“The Korean warship has lost contact.”

In an American underground base, the members of the think tank listened to the compiled news and all fell silent.

Why did this happen?

Extreme weather was one thing, but why did such a tremendous amount of energy erupt?

“What do you think caused this?”

“Could it be the main cannon of the alien spacecraft?”

“Hmm? Quite possible.”

“It might be that when we interfered with the alien spacecraft, it triggered its automatic defense system, leading to all this.”

“But there’s a problem. The alien spacecraft has been buried underground for so long. Even if it’s an automatic defense, there’s no need for an attack of this energy level.”

“Maybe this was the weakest weapon of the alien spacecraft.”

“What do we do now?”

“Let’s send a Korean submarine to investigate.”

At this point, Korea was completely baffled by the series of events.

The drilling platform was gone.

The warship lost contact.

The soldiers were dead.

Not only did they gain nothing, but they also took a heavy blow and were now dazed and confused.

Now, America was instructing them to send a submarine to investigate the situation, which seemed like taking advantage of them.

“Okay, we will dispatch a submarine to investigate immediately.”

Korea responded without hesitation after receiving the notice.

As for the radiation issue in that sea area.

It wasn’t their concern.

They weren’t the ones going to drive the submarine to investigate.

Three hours later.

Korea’s submarine sent back a message: there was nothing on the seabed.

Receiving this answer, both Korea and America were unwilling to believe it and organized another group to investigate the seabed.

This time, a deep-sea research submarine was used.

Upon entering the deep pit on the seabed and seeing the glass-like crystalline bottom, both America and Korea fell silent.

It was gone.

The alien spacecraft was no more.

After a thorough search, a few palm-sized fragments of the alien spacecraft were found at the bottom of the pit.

“The light we saw earlier was probably the self-destruction of the spacecraft.”

“No, I don’t think so. It could also have left.”

“Gentlemen, now is not the time to dwell on this issue. What do we do next?”

This question was met with another round of silence.

The alien spacecraft was gone.

So was the alien technology.

Their previous strategy was based on acquiring alien technology, a temporary concession, and then a later burst.

Now that the alien spacecraft was gone.

They had made concessions, but the hope of a later burst was almost none.

With conventional weapons, they had giant mechs, which were unsolvable.

In overall strategy, they were now beginning to dominate space, completely overshadowing them.

If they went for broke, it would be a global disaster.

But under normal circumstances, who would do that?

Even when they were badly beaten, the mushroom bombs were still kept at home.

Now those bombs were under their supervision.

So, going for broke was nonsense.

“Everyone, we’ve received a message from across the ocean, demanding an explanation for the Korean nuclear test.”

Everyone exchanged glances upon hearing this.

The other side was right.

Korea was indeed a bit out of line, daring to conduct a mushroom bomb experiment near their neighbor’s territorial waters.

“Contact the other side. Tell them we invite their investigation team to join us in investigating Korea. We will urge Korea to compensate for all the losses.” “Right, I remember Korea had some shady dealings with certain individuals from UNESCO, registering some of our cultural heritages through backdoor trades. We can’t overlook such actions. We believe a re-evaluation is necessary.”

“I support this joint investigation. We must thoroughly investigate and show no leniency.”

Each person present was extremely intelligent.

Now that the alien spacecraft was gone.

So was the fortune of the United States.

They all knew what would happen next, so there was no point in trying to make it harder for the other side. It was meaningless and could even backfire. Without a viable plan, they would not act rashly.

Since they were already conceding.

It was better to just let go completely.

After the meeting ended.

Others would take care of the remaining matters.

Likewise.

The once-confidential news was no longer necessary to be kept secret, so after leaving, they each called various capitalists to sell the news at a good price.

At a manor in an American farm.

“Master, Mr. Eisen called with very important news.”

“What news?”

“A half year ago, an alien spacecraft was discovered at the bottom of Korea’s sea…”

The butler recounted the situation in full detail.

“Alright, I know. Go and donate a hundred million dollars to Mr. Eisen’s charity foundation.”

“Yes, Master, right away.”

After the butler left, the old man picked

up the phone and called his arch-rival.

“Did you get the news?”

“I know. What do you want to say?”

“I think clean energy is the future of mankind. What do you think?”

“I think your mouth stinks.”

“Really? If you really think so, I’d be very happy.”

“Don’t make too big a move when selling stocks.”

“Sell? I don’t plan to sell. Why don’t we give it away as a gift instead of selling it for that bit of money?”

“What do you mean?”

“Any nation that reaches the pinnacle, its capital will expand greatly. Then, do you think the capital of that nation will be different from ours?”

“Your mouth really stinks.”

After hanging upl, both old men closed their eyes, calculating everything.

At this time, the top American capitalists were all planning for the future.

They knew too well how terrifying the expansion of capital could be with the backing of the world’s strongest nation.

Because that’s how they rose to power.

So, at this time, their first thought wasn’t how to conflict with the emerging capital but how to join it.

After all, they were too familiar with this game.

Such high-level secrets were unknown to the middle tier and even the sub-top tier.

Tang Rui was in the know.

But he didn’t bother with these matters.

After the incident, he started earnestly accumulating origin points, determined not to be reckless until he had accumulated 1000 points.

But this incident.

Caused a significant international stir.

Nations were unaware of the true nature of the incident but saw America’s reaction.

They actually cooperated domestically to investigate Korea.

Although it was called a joint investigation, the Americans sent not only did not hinder the investigation but even helped provide a lot of information.

This led to Korea quickly building a heavy water reactor experiment base with American help.

The investigation team even found industrial centrifuges in operation.

This was a big revelation.

The investigation team was baffled.

But since evidence was found, there was nothing to argue about.

Compensation was due.

In less than a week, Korea signed the compensation agreement.

A total of 568.24 billion US dollars was paid.

Including mental distress compensation, seawater pollution cleanup fees, fishing ground loss compensation, environmental pollution fees, and more..
