“master, the underwater drilling platform in the ore vein has been completed, and the special materials collection center has been activated.”

that day, tang rui was fishing.

red lotus suddenly appeared and reported the situation to him.

“i know.”

after hearing this news, tang rui immediately handed his fishing rod to a nearby robot and went back to his room to change clothes.

ten minutes later.

tang rui, dressed in a diving suit, came up to the deck, gave a quick instruction to gao yang, and then jumped into the water.

as tang rui dove down to the seabed, the holographic scan of the neutrino radar clearly showed the long tunnels at both ends of the seabed ore vein.

however, the undersea tunnel was not the main concern.

tang rui was really interested in the inside of the seabed ore vein.

currently, there were sixteen small pipelines outside the ore vein, each constantly drawing in seawater.

thanks to special treatment, these pipelines did not create vortices while absorbing seawater and did not affect the surrounding marine environment.

when tang rui arrived at the seabed ore vein, a hole disguised as a rock opened.

he swam through the entrance.

when the entrance closed, the water inside started to drain, and both oxygen

and pressure returned to normal levels.

buzz…

then, the walls inside the entrance opened, revealing a passage.

tang rui walked through the passage.

“master, this passage is a secret passage and can also be used as an emergency escape route. red lotus has placed eighty life pods in the rock around the entrance.”

red lotus appeared and began to explain the interior to tang rui.

“master, from here, take the elevator; on the left is the normal underwater drilling platform control center, and on the right is the hidden special materials extraction center.

besides you, master, no one can enter the special materials extraction center. even if someone forcibly breaks through the passage, they will be killed by the laser weapons on both sides.”

after listening, tang rui rolled his eyes in resignation.

it was red lotus again, setting up another laser corridor.

this laser corridor’s power was certainly stronger than the laser weapons in the company’s mountain, as it had been upgraded and strengthened, so safety was not an issue.

soon, tang rui took the elevator to the right side’s special materials extraction center and, after passing through a 44-meter-long laser corridor, saw a control center of only 300 square meters.

the hall had only one circular holographic projection screen.

the screen displayed data on three types of extracted materials: deuterium, tritium, and uranium.

currently, the reserves of these three special materials were all zero, as the equipment had just been activated.

“red lotus, how’s the extraction speed?”

tang rui didn’t visit the heavy water centrifuge or the seawater purification and separation center below; there was nothing of interest to see.

he just wanted to know the extraction speed of these materials.

“master, due to the efficiency of geothermal power generation, the extraction speed is not very fast. but once the first batch of materials is extracted, we can build our own reactor, and then electricity supply will no longer be an issue, and extraction efficiency will increase rapidly.

based on the current speed, the first batch of materials will be extracted in three months, to be used for reactor construction.

once the reactor is operational, we can extract nine units of special substances every month.”

red lotus briefly explained the specific data.

“hmm, how much space is reserved below?”

“a total of thirty floors, 200,000 square meters of underground space is reserved below. if necessary, we can expand in four directions, adding up to 800,000 square meters of underground space.”

“that’s enough, let it be for now.”

after listening, tang rui nodded and, after a final glance at the data on the holographic projection, turned and left.

in fact, he was collecting these materials not for any other purpose.

mainly to make some small toys and conduct some experiments, as these materials were too special.

applying for them was troublesome.

so, it was better to just collect them himself, as the technology was simple, it just couldn’t be publicized.

now was a good opportunity.

taking advantage of building the underwater drilling platform, collecting the materials was killing two birds with one stone.

arriving at the left side’s underground drilling platform.

this place was much more normal.

after all, people would be stationed here in the future, so the facilities here were very complete, and the defense standards were even built according to nuclear defense construction levels.

apart from the control center work area and the equipment pipeline maintenance area, there was also a vast underground living area, entertainment area, materials storage warehouse, and combat readiness area.

normally, the combat readiness area was not open.

because there, tang rui had arranged submarine-launched surprise attacks, which, although not loaded with nuclear bombs, were indeed capable of launching.

from here, one could directly go to the undersea tunnel.

the undersea tunnel’s entrance and exit could be said to be the normal access for the underwater drilling platform.

the place he had entered earlier was the emergency escape route.

tang rui took a tour inside.

he felt very positive about it.

after all, it was built by red lotus, and all the facilities and equipment used were the best.

even underground, there was no feeling of stuffiness.

constant temperature, constant humidity, and there was even a seabed viewing platform in the entertainment area. just by opening the external armor, one could see the seabed.

but in bohai bay, there wasn’t much to see on the seabed.

however, in a few days, he could ask red lotus to plant some corals outside the viewing platform.

of course, whether they could survive was another matter..
