after reinforcing the cruise missiles, tang rui had red lotus start production. the most crucial part was the high-explosive battery.

the production of the batteries required a modification of the production line, but once adjusted, the output became impressively high.

at least faster than a chicken laying eggs.

by the fifth shipment, according to red lotus’s calculations, they could produce 8000 units.

if there were another shipment tomorrow, they could have as many as they needed.

not only was the production speed notable, but the biggest advantage of this cruise missile was its low cost.

the cost of the battery was a mere 350 yuan.

the combined purchase price of the shell, chip, motherboard, motor, and propeller was only 427 yuan.

this meant the cost of manufacturing one cruise missile didn’t exceed 800 yuan, an obscenely small amount of money to pay for a missile.

even ten bullets for the close-in weapon system 1130 were more expensive than this.

in the blink of an eye, two days had passed.

the transport planes had made eight round trips. after the initial few trips carrying supplies and materials, the rest were exclusively for transporting cruise missiles.

after learning about the performance and cost of the cruise missiles, han shu like tang rui, thought the best idea was to carry out a massive bombing campaign.

hence, the following three shipments.

after these supplies and materials were delivered, han shu began final arrangements and mobilizations.

all twelve special teams were equipped with supplies and left the base, their destination unknown.

all armored units gathered outside the city.

two anti-aircraft systems, custom-made by tang rui for han shu, were placed—one in the sudanese capital and the other at the base.

then they just waited for the enemy to make the first move.

they couldn’t attack first.

the tribes hadn’t rebelled yet; they couldn’t give them an excuse or simply eradicate them.

so, they could only wait for the enemy to act.

in fact, the wait wouldn’t be long; the enemy was bound to act within two days.

if it weren’t for the self-destruction of the american satellite.

they would have acted yesterday, not waiting until now.

the next evening.

tang rui, han shu, and several staff officers, using holographic projection equipment, held a meeting inside the command center.

according to satellite monitoring, the enemy was about to act.

“the message has been sent to the sudanese side. their troops have already withdrawn from the hada region. it’s currently an empty city, just waiting for the enemy to arrive,” a staff officer said, pointing at a military strategic location on the holographic projection.

“the enemy has begun to move.”

at this moment, everyone saw the red dots moving on the holographic sand table, indicating the enemy’s movements.

“brother han, can you guess the enemy’s command intentions?” tang rui asked han shu after seeing the enemy’s move.

“of course, without this god-like perspective, i might not have been able to guess. but with it, if i can’t even predict the enemy’s movements and intentions, then i shouldn’t be here.

“based on the enemy’s movements over the past two days and their arrangements, on the surface, they intend to first occupy the hada region, using it as a bridgehead to cut off our support path.

“but actually, they don’t plan to strike our tail. instead, they are preparing to attack the hada region on our flank, and then annihilate us there.

“the enemy’s strategic goal, according to their intentions, is to annihilate us completely, so they devised this tactic.”

han shu confidently explained, drawing several lines and marking a few points on the electronic sand table.

the surrounding staff officers, after listening, nodded in agreement.

they too had deduced the enemy’s intentions from the information, as having a god-like view made it evident.

“so, what should we do? directly eliminate the enemy’s flank troops, or break through the middle and go straight into the enemy’s rear?” tang rui asked, looking at the map on the sand table.

although he hadn’t studied military command, he had played real-time strategy games, and this war, if the soldiers were replaced with electronic units, was just like a game.

“no, we should follow the enemy’s plan and directly attack hada, the bridgehead,” han shu said, shaking his head.

“use their strategy against them?”

tang rui thought this after listening, but couldn’t fully grasp han shu’s overall strategic intention.

“you could say that, because our goal is different from the enemy’s. hence, our execution of tactics will definitely be different.

the enemy’s goal is simple: to win this war and capture the sudanese territory,

so all their tactics will revolve around this purpose.

but we are different. our goal isn’t just to win. with our current equipment and intelligence capabilities, winning is too easy. so, our fundamental goal is to deplete the enemy’s living forces, keeping them here.”

han shu shared his thoughts.

or rather, these were not just his thoughts, but that wasn’t important.

what was important was achieving this purpose.

tang rui pondered.

no problem there.

they had too many trump cards, superior equipment, and overwhelming intelligence.

in this situation, just aiming to win seemed a waste.

so, they could drag it out.

play around with the enemy.

okay, so what do we do next?”

tang rui said, looking at the red dots on the sand table. the enemy had already entered the hada region but hadn’t encountered the sudanese army, leaving them somewhat confused.

“let’s first test the new equipment, check its performance in actual combat,” han shu suggested after some thought..
