seeing so many things, there was nothing to hesitate about.

let’s do it.

tang rui commanded the regiment to attack, and then…he hung up.

a newborn baby.

it would be strange if he didn’t die if he directly plunged into the monsters.

“red lotus, help me level up.” tang rui couldn’t be bothered to stand under the sun to gain experience and directly let red lotus play on his behalf.

“yes, master.” red lotus did not even need the smart glasses. she started to control it directly through the data.

after tang rui logged in and leveled up, he came to lin chao’s place.

“what a rare guest.”

after lin chao saw tang rui, he was very surprised.

“brother lin, has our military been thinking about any large-scale changes recently?” tang rui asked.

did he not have something to ask lin chao?

the main thing was to ask for information.

he had a breakthrough in materials.

following that, many things would follow suit.

if the military were to change their equipment on a large scale now, would they change their equipment when they had new equipment?

it would be good to wait for a while and get there in one step.

that was why he came over to ask. if there really was one, he would remind her.

“no, why? is there a problem?” lin chao asked doubtfully. he did not understand why tang rui was suddenly worried about this matter.

“it’s okay. if there is, then let’s wait.”

“what breakthrough did you make?”

“materials.”

“understood. i’ll report to the higher-ups.” lin chao nodded in understanding.

as for where the breakthrough in materials was, he did not ask.

that was not something he should know.

“i’m mainly worried about the situation on our side. with the external pressure of america, we have to change our equipment. i didn’t expect the higher-ups to be so calm,” tang rui muttered.

if it were him, even if the possibility of a war was very small, he would arm himself to the teeth.

how could he wait? he had new equipment but did not equip it.

“american external pressure is gone. you definitely haven’t been watching the news for the past two days.” lin chao chuckled after hearing that.

“hmm? what do you mean? america surrendered?”

“what are you thinking? as long as both parties communicate with each other, using force to deter others is too scary. it’s just like how the two poles fought for hegemony in the past. everyone’s nerves are overly sensitive, which is not good.

in addition, the tip of the iceberg that you guys showed in sudan previously gave america a headache. our combat strength on the regular battlefield has completely exceeded their expectations.

under such circumstances, they were also willing to maintain a tit-for-tat confrontation in terms of martial strength. after all, if they did not do well, everyone would be finished.

“therefore, the current situation is to continue fighting in the economy and develop our military strength normally. we can’t upgrade our equipment on a large scale and frequently conduct external exercises, causing a tense situation.”

lin chao told tang rui everything he knew about the situation.

“in that case, the first phase of our battle with america is over. what’s next is the second phase?”

“that’s about right. the next step is to surpass them in terms of economic size and pull up our technological level to surpass them in all aspects.”

“alright, i got it.”

after tang rui finished speaking, he left lin chao’s place.

this was good news.

martial strength was very useful against the weak, but it was nothing more than a thrill when used against an existence of the same level.

america had once thought that they were untouchable.

in the end, they got hung up in sudan and swept away.

they were awake now.

if they realized that they couldn’t win with force, then there was no need to continue playing.

of course, it wasn’t that they didn’t want to play.

according to the american personality, they had to be up to something, secretly researching away.

perhaps after some time, when they felt that they could do it again, they would cause more trouble.

the next problem was the economic size.

it wasn’t as easy to deal with as the military.

after all, this was not a problem with equipment, and it was not easy to level up. in addition, there were a bunch of traitors and foreigners.

this was very difficult.

that night, tang rui and li shuyao put on their formal attire again and set off on a private jet. they were going to attend xiaomi’s new product launch.

originally, he did not want to go today.

but after thinking about it, he decided to go.

he had already promised her, so it was not good to suddenly stand her up.

this time, ceo lei did not bring so many people. he came to the airport alone with his assistant to pick him up.

another wave of business bragging.

then, president lei got into tang rui’s rv and headed to the press conference venue together.

“president tang, are you interested in xiaomi?” ceo lei suddenly said, as they trundled along the road.

“interested?”

“yes, i want to get rid of those foreign shareholders, but this requires the help of a strong group.”

after tang rui heard it all, he shook his head.

he wasn’t afraid of offending those foreign capitalists. to put it bluntly, those people should be afraid of him.

however, the reason why he did not agree was not because of anything else.

it was not good to interfere.

now, he controlled the source of graphene materials and the patents for carbon nano-materials and other semiconductor materials.

even though he didn’t care, his influence was still very great.

however, he did not use this kind of influence at all, nor did he take it seriously, so no one felt uncomfortable.

but if he invested in xiaomi…

that’d be a different story.

at that time, the situation would be very troublesome.

he was not afraid of trouble, but he hated trouble.

besides…

he was not short of money now. when the bohai bay project was completed, money would be a number to him.

therefore, there was no need for him to invest in xiaomi.

at that time, he would not earn much.

instead, he would cause a lot of trouble.

it was not worth it.

president lei saw tang rui shake his head and also did not mention this matter again.

very quickly, they arrived at the press conference.

ceo lei went to prepare. he would personally go on stage and diss his friends.

after waiting for tang rui to come to his seat, the group of people next to him started to come forward to join in the fun, introducing themselves, and then flattering him.

this was very frustrating, though it was alright.

not long after, the press conference began.

ceo lei started the show in english using his strong london accent and proceeded in both chinese and english. he was in high spirits.

there was no nonsense.

he directly hung up his friend and began to compare the data.

tang rui watched the fun below and felt that it was very interesting.

however, according to his research, xiaomi’s smart glasses had deleted some of the functions that were not commonly used.

however, it was not deleted correctly. the overall performance was still fine.

after all, all the carbon-based semiconductor components were produced in china and the models were the same.

xiaomi’s standby time was longer.

it was because some functions had been deleted that the battery was naturally saved.

“for such a device, how much do you think xiaomi would sell it for? can anyone hitch a guess?” ceo lei asked with a smile after the introduction.

many people started to bid, all coming to a figure that amounted to around four to five thousand.

after all, huawei’s offer was abnormal. those who knew the industry knew that it was sold at a loss.

a single device would not make money, but the accompanying mobile phone would make money, the platform would make money, and the brand value would increase.

even if it was sold at that price, huawei could afford it.

“wrong, the final price of our xiaomi glasses is 3299 yuan!”

ceo lei gave a shocking price.

this was suicidal.

huawei had a local rich man like penguin. xiaomi just quoted this price because it found the big spender.

tang rui felt that he had broadened his horizons these two days.

in his opinion, the smart glasses would cost at least 7,000 to 8,000 yuan. in the end, the two companies forcefully cut the price to a mere 3,000 yuan.

awesome.

he was indeed not cut out for business.

after the press conference ended, tang rui rejected a group of people’s invitations and directly took a private jet home.

after returning home, he asked red lotus to download a game released by xiaomi. it was a card game, but not a western card game.

it was an eastern card. the characters and monsters inside were all from myths and legends and the classic of mountains and seas.

in fact, this game was similar to the monster control game on penguin.

after all, it was produced by netease.

there was nothing wrong with the game.

tang rui also let red lotus hang up this number.

in the next two days, smart glasses from brands such as huawei, xiaomi, oppo, and meizu began selling like crazy.

compared to the few companies at the head of the company, the smart glasses from the other companies did not have an independent game design, and could only play games from penguin and netease.

this caused the streets to be filled with people wearing smart glasses, looking around, and gesturing in the air.

these people had all run out to look for monsters and insurance.

at that moment, if you saw two people in an open space saying “kill it,” don’t go up.

it wasn’t a fight between two people, nor was it a lunatic. it was a pet pk.

anyway, it could be summarized in one sentence: wearables had become the new fad.

the game had also boomed in popularity as a result.

it was…

it was a sunday, and the company was on holiday.

tang rui brought li shuyao downstairs to open the treasure chest. as soon as they went out, they realized that many people in the company were on the plaza and running track, fighting monsters with their familiars to level up.

he felt numb.

“no, you guys don’t rest on sunday.” tang rui asked speechlessly.

“president tang, we’re resting.”

“that’s right. usually, when we go to work, we’ll look at the treasure chests all over the ground and almost die from craving them. it’s not easy for me to rest, so i naturally have to come here to open the treasure chest and kill monsters to level up.”

“huh?” tang rui pursed his lips after hearing it and said speechlessly,” there aren’t any monsters and treasure chests outside?”

“president tang, you don’t know this, but ten people fighting over a monster outside are like crazy. as for treasure chests, i’ve seen them outside, let alone open them.”

“alright, you can play, but safety is the most important thing.”

what else could tang rui say?

he couldn’t possibly say that he had booked this place and that they couldn’t fight the monsters. that would be hilarious.

fortunately, they only came after work.

during the day, red lotus had booked the entire place to level up.

they played for a few days.

tang rui received the news that the sand suction boat had already been completely modified, and the construction prerequisites were already in place.

after learning about this situation, he knew that he probably didn’t have time to play games.

it was more important than the bohai bay project.

that night, he asked the navy to help him sail his yacht to bohai bay.

the next day, tang rui brought the equipment and flew a private jet directly to dalian.

after he arrived, he announced the official start of the bohai bay submarine tunnel and oil exploration project..
