was it over?

when the leaders of various countries received the report from the special department, they were all stunned and unable to react immediately.

hadn’t the peacekeeping force just withdrawn?

only a day had passed.

tell me.

the victor had already been determined.

if it were just a matter of winning or losing, that would be fine, but the report from the special department indicated that crimson had won decisively.

there were no casualties.

on the american side, the mercenaries were almost entirely wiped out.

are you sure this wasn’t a mistake?

for instance, could the sides have been confused?

however, after repeated confirmations by the special department, the leaders of various countries read the war report carefully.

undoubtedly.

the americans hadn’t utilized their full strength.

yet, in this war, what was observed wasn’t the disparity in equipment and combat strength between the two sides.

what was seen was crimson’s extraordinarily terrifying information reconnaissance ability, with precise guidance and efficient battlefield communication.

every member of their team was formidable.

specialized military analysis teams were analyzing the battlefield.

although the battle lasted only a few hours, and the full potential of their equipment wasn’t even showcased, it ended just like that.

nevertheless, everyone perceived the underlying message.

frankly speaking, this time, the americans had lost the information war. from the start to the end, the crimson controlled the entire situation. all strategies and plans were under their surveillance.

although it was evident that the americans only sent mercenaries, they would’ve still lost even if the regular army had been deployed. at best, they could have lasted a bit longer.

after this battle, the entire class realized something alarming. the regular student’s performance had already surpassed the class monitor.

there was no need to worry about the improvement in the study committee member’s grades.

it was beneficial that she was tutoring.

knowing the answer beforehand was an advantage.

those were all objective conditions.

now, in front of everyone was a report card, showing he was first on the study

committee.

what did they mean when they said that a hero shouldn’t be judged by points?

that was nonsense.

the first-place results were evident there.

who would dare to challenge them?

if they were unconvinced, they could try to achieve first place themselves.

forget about first place; were they even in the top five?

tang rui didn’t know what others were thinking.

he was enjoying himself.

the battle on the main battlefield had concluded. it was akin to pulling out a tower. all that remained was to push the crystal.

however, the enemy crystal was now spawning minions.

tang rui was controlling his own hero unit, farming minions.

south sudan wanted to resist a bit more.

a direct confrontation being hopeless, they retreated their troops into the city.

hadn’t you claimed to cover everything with firepower?

now, if they could, go ahead and blow it up.

given the circumstances, large-scale battles were impossible. if not careful, they could easily cause extensive civilian casualties.

but dealing with the south sudanese was straightforward.

he directly ordered the special forces to attack.

han shu was unconcerned about these matters and handed over command of

the special forces squad to tang rui.

“there are 28 enemies in the building ahead. i’ve marked them all. everyone,

follow me.”

tang rui controlled a mechanical dog and charged into the enemy’s hideout.

as he charged, he fired.

the 12.8-millimeter electromagnetic sniper rifle easily penetrated the wall, eliminating the hidden enemies.

the special forces team followed the mechanical dog and swiftly entered the building.

then, it was an unbalanced battle.

the enemy couldn’t see anyone.

each bullet passed through the wall, killing its target, including travel time, the enemies in the house were eliminated in less than three minutes.

“team 1, block gate a. there are 120 enemies approaching.

team 2, go to the roof and eliminate the enemies around the two houses across the street. team 3, follow me to engage the enemies in those houses.”

tang rui swiftly marked several points and issued the orders.

he controlled the robot dog to jump out of the second-floor window and fire at the house across the street.

a special forces team equipped with full map vision, x-ray vision, and

auto-aim.

shooting these enemies was like target practice.

one shot, one kill.

in two and a half hours, tang rui, with a few special forces squads, had taken a

city.

“awesome!”

tang rui massaged the space between his eyebrows.

it had been fun, reminiscent of playing counter strike in the past.

but it was also tiring.

“red lotus, transfer battlefield command to headquarters. i’ll go rest,” tang

rui instructed red lotus.

“yes, master. red lotus has informed the special forces,” red lotus replied. after tang rui heard this, he left the blue army command hall.

he checked the time.

it was already past nine in the evening.

no wonder he was hungry.

he had been on the battlefield all day, forgetting about dinner and that it wasn’t yet nighttime.

back home, tang rui lay on the sofa, waiting for li shuyao to warm up the

food.

“are you finished?”

“i am. there are only a few cities left. once we capture those, it will be over,”

tang rui replied casually.

“no wonder. the internet is full of opinion wars,” li shuyao said with a smile. “opinion wars? what do you mean?” tang rui asked curiously.

“you’ll understand when you see it. netizens worldwide are criticizing crimson,” she explained.

curious, tang rui connected to the internet and checked the trending topics on twitter.

good heavens.

as expected, the battle situation on su’s side was top trending.

he opened a video.

he was curious about its content.

“this is our freedom alliance army. they are here to support the tribal armed forces that yearn for freedom and fight for it…

the video showed a female reporter interviewing a tribe. it seemed ordinary. aside from the female war reporter boosting morale, everything else appeared normal.

just as tang rui was about to close the video,

an air-raid siren sounded.

“what’s that noise?”

upon hearing the air-raid siren, the female reporter asked the interviewed tribal soldier.

“this is the horn of our freedom, the strength of our resistance, and our outcry against unjust fate,” the soldier recited from memory.

the reporter was at a loss for words. “yes, exactly. this harsh, shocking sound symbolizes their desire for freedom.”

whoosh whoosh…

suddenly, distant sounds seemed to come from the sky. the reporter looked

up.

was it raining?

no.

countless rockets appeared.

in the next moment, flames erupted, and the video on the screen shook before turning black.

the video ended there.

tang rui browsed the comments to see what the netizens were saying. “that’s the spirit of independent women. fearless, even under missile attacks on the battlefield.”

“the previous comment is right. it’s a shame i recently transitioned to a woman. i hadn’t even been fully accepted before witnessing such brutality. i’m heartbroken.”

“i’m heartbroken too. as a black woman and an environmental and animal rights activist, this video deeply pained me. it’s the harsh reality of war. i’ve decided to advocate for peace and contribute to global harmony.”

“i’m a single, transgender person. it doesn’t affect my role as a mother. i’m vegan and an environmentalist…”

tang rui read the comments for a while, feeling as if his eyes were straining.

good heavens.

they all seemed to be using this trending topic to assert their identities, didn’t they?
