over the next month, the international scene was very peaceful, and there were basically no major events.

the chinese situation was also very good. their neighbors had things to do and had no time for anything else.

the koreans were focused on developing the underwater oil fields.

they could live on a tight budget, but the stock market collapsed, and the economy suffered a major blow.

wall street was up to their throats.

nothing happened in the east.

their neighbors in the southwest were even less affected.

china didn’t have to worry about its internal matters. they would start to fight the americans internationally.

however, international matters were very troublesome. it was impossible to destroy them all at once.

everyone was so understanding.

in addition, there was also a group of snitches and troublemakers. the americans were working hard in all aspects, but the results weren’t as they hoped.

the most important region was africa.

the americans wanted to take advantage of the fact that china hadn’t gained a firm foothold there to get rid of them, so they’d been playing a lot of tricks recently.

especially in the mining industry.

recently, china suffered setbacks in all aspects of our overseas mining. the american’s eyes were red as they went against us.

therefore, things in africa were more troublesome.

but all of this had nothing to do with tang rui. he stayed at home honestly during this period and did not cause any trouble.

the bohai bay oil field mining problem would have to wait for another month or two.

the construction of the submarine and sand suction boat had not been completed yet.

the assembly of the submarine tunnel was still in the design and production phase. it was estimated that it would take another month or two before it could be officially mass-produced.

therefore, tang rui’s side wasn’t anxious either.

on this day, han shu, who had been away for a few months, was finally back.

previously, after tang rui finished building the mechanical infantry regiment’s equipment and equipping the troops, he brought the entire regiment for training.

the original plan was to train for two months.

however, after the training, the higher-ups wanted to test the combat effectiveness of the regiment. therefore, it was delayed for another two months, and seven or eight exercises were carried out in various environments.

he had been busy for four months.

han shu was finally back.

“brother han, did you go to africa?” after seeing han shu, the other party’s skin color frightened tang rui.

good heavens.

he had turned chocolate-colored and was glowing.

“we’re going to africa later,” han shu said nonchalantly.

“we’re going to africa later. aren’t we going to practice?”

“the five regiments are not complete yet, so how can we practice? you still have to be in charge of the bohai bay project, so you don’t have time to care about us.

in addition to the exercise two months ago, the higher-ups recognized chinese combat effectiveness, so they sent them to africa.

the situation over there was a little chaotic now. it just so happened that their new equipment was almost ready. they could take it out and practice.”

han shu told tang rui about the general situation.

although it was confidential information, telling tang rui about it was still not a problem.

“i see… when are we leaving?” after tang rui heard it all, he pondered for a while and asked.

“in half a month. 1’11 be on vacation for a week starting tomorrow. after the vacation ends, pack up your equipment and take a boat there.”

“i see. send all your equipment back, and i’ll level you up.”

“it can be upgraded?”

“i’m not changing the equipment. i’m just making some minor adjustments to improve the performance. it’s not a major change.”

the upgrade that tang rui mentioned was indeed an upgrade.

they had been using this batch of equipment for four months, so their experience points must have been overflowing long ago.

he didn’t need to enhance it.

he could directly upgrade the equipment through the system interface to improve its performance.

it was not troublesome.

it didn’t cost any money.

it was just upgrading a level. tang rui was still very willing.

after all, they were going to africa, and they might really have to fight.

therefore, the performance of the equipment would be enhanced as much as possible.

perhaps this little improvement would lead to a victory.

“alright, 1’11 get them to send the equipment over later,” han shu didn’t refuse.

this kind of good thing was something that others could not even beg for.

he would be an idiot to refuse.

at three in the afternoon, all the equipment was sent over.

red lotus marked all the equipment and placed them in the warehouse.

after dinner, tang rui came inside the warehouse and started to upgrade these devices.

looking at the huge amount of experience points overflowing from the system interface, he tapped three times without hesitation.

swoosh swoosh swoosh…

three flashes of light flashed.

equipment upgrade complete.

the upgraded exoskeleton armor did not seem to have changed much. the only change was that it was more ergonomically designed and more comfortable to wear.

the internal hardware system had become more compact, and more resistant to construction, and the system functions had become smoother.

to be honest, seeing that there were still more than 400,000 experience points on the system panel, tang rui really wanted to upgrade this armor to +9 or, rather, +10.

however, the individual exoskeleton armor was too advanced.

therefore, he thought about it and held back.

“red lotus, save this design in the database and mark it as the single exoskeleton armor 1.3 optimized version,”

tang rui said to red lotus.

“yes, master. the design and information have been saved,” red lotus immediately replied.

following that, tang rui began to continuously upgrade the individual exoskeleton armor. in any case, he didn’t need to do anything; it was all the system’s work..
