“alright, let’s do it here.”

tang rui said to red lotus at his side.

“alright.”

red lotus put down the comprehensive drilling robot.

he then installed the water pipe and the sewage pipe at the tail of the drilling robot. one of the two pipes was for water and the other for sewage.

if you ignore the pipes at the back, this robot looked like an enlarged metal bamboo shoot.

excluding the drill bit, the overall length was 82 centimeters, and the radius was 22 centimeters.

the length of the drill was 35 centimeters.

it appeared quite pocket-sized.

however, the skill required was definitely not low.

[item: deep underground drill robot]

[experience: 0/3500]

[enhancement: drill (special), construction, electric machinery (special), energy (special)]

[origin: 1628.48]

looking at the three special enhancements displayed on the system interface, he couldn’t help but sigh.

one would know how powerful its performance was.

sob, sob, sob…

with the rapid rotation of the drill, the weeds and soil on the ground were cleared in an instant.

furthermore, all the fragments that turned into powder were sucked into the robot’s body.

after entering the body, they merged with the water flow and turned into mud that was discharged through the pipe.

very quickly, the entire drilling robot went underground.

only two pipes were left outside, sucking in water and draining mud.

tang rui watched the simulated scene through the screen of his glasses.

the robot moved at a speed of about one meter per minute, and its speed was very stable.

this was not its fastest speed.

however, it was the most economical and stable speed. there was no need to worry about the drill having any problems.

if he increased the speed, the drill might overheat and wear out. that would be bad.

“red lotus, i’ll leave this place to you.”

“alright, don’t worry, master. red lotus will take care of everything,” red lotus promised tang rui.

right now, drilling holes in the ground was not only to test the performance of the robot but also to extract some oil.

although the oil table under their company didn’t have much oil, it was enough for tang rui’s use.

later, red lotus would build a smart factory integrating a refinery and chemical plant over there. in the future, the company wouldn’t need to buy chemical raw materials. they could produce them completely themselves.

even the fuel used for the aircraft could be refined by them.

tang rui returned to the company. after settling the documents that the company needed to deal with during this time, he went to the armed satellite laboratory building.

after all, he was a chief instructor.

he had to come over to take a look since he had nothing else to do.

now that he had solved most of the remaining problems, save for the drilling platform, he was free again.

“koizumi, is this information true?”

“yes, we got it by accident. there’s been a huge breakthrough in geological exploration technology there. this should be the information they obtained when they sneaked into our waters.”

“you’re so coquettish… thank you for your hard work, koizumi. the empire will remember your contributions.”

“hey… this is what 1 should do. i can’t stay here too long. i’ll leave the rest to you, fujiwara-kun.”

after the two of them met up, they retreated separately.

however, not far from their rendezvous point, an ordinary car was watching them.

“mission accomplished. withdraw.”

a day later, this information was obtained by japan.

upon receiving this information, the first thing they did was doubt its authenticity.

after all, they also had their own geological experts.

logically speaking, there shouldn’t be an oil field in that area, especially such a large one.

however, the problem was that they had obtained this information from the country through a special department and had paid a high price.

if they outright denied it, wouldn’t those people’s efforts be wasted?

therefore, the final result was the same as tang rui’s speculation. first, they would drill a hole to see if there really was an oil field there.

the location of the drilling hole… well, these were also the sites that tang rui had specially left behind.

as long as one wasn’t a fool, choosing a highly difficult drilling location was highly unlikely, especially when they were in a hurry to confirm if there was an oil field underground. so, they could only drill from the place tang rui deliberately left.

the japanese were quite capable in this aspect.

thus, they went ahead and commenced drilling.

first, they discovered the natural gas layer before discovering the oil field below the natural gas.

however, this oil field could be said to have been completely depleted.

originally, there must have been a large oil field here.

however, due to plate movements and earthquakes, the oil field started leaking, and it had now turned into magma.

japan didn’t know this though.

the results of the drilling and the geological analysis data were all on the surface. there was no problem with this exploration data.

in other words, there really was an oil field under their territory.

this news was reported immediately.

after the higher-ups saw the report, they immediately gave their instructions.

there was even an obscure research institute in japan that specially provided brand-new drilling equipment.

this drill was extremely powerful.

it enabled them to bypass the rock formation below and directly drill a hole vertically, where they could extract the oil from the field.

was there even such a technique?

this was simply custom-made equipment for this oil field.

with new technology and equipment, they didn’t need to go through so much trouble.

japan immediately organized its men and began to prepare for mining. they would first use the new equipment to drill holes, test its performance, and explore the reserves of the field.

it could be said that japan’s actions were done according to tang rui’s imagination..
