ultimately, the review team passed the construction plan designed by tang rui intact and then began the final process.

constructing the hadron collider was not a small project.

even with the current level of materials and microelectronics technology having been upgraded, this project could not be completed quickly.

after tang rui uploaded the information, he stopped paying attention to this matter.

the other side did not bother him anymore.

this led to him having nothing to do recently.

on wednesday, tang rui said goodbye to han shu, who was going to africa for duty.

during this period, he paid special attention to the situation in africa and found that it was alright, with nothing too significant happening.

military conflicts would definitely not break out.

the chaotic areas were ail governed by local tribes.

but even if the tribes were chaotic, they didn’t dare to attack the locations where the united nations peacekeepers were stationed.

“brother han, if you catch any lions or leopards, remember to send me a few cubs back,” tang rui exhorted before han shulin boarded the ship.

he was not interested in other things.

but he was very interested in white lions and leopards, especially their cubs, which were furry and fun.

“alright, if i come across them, i’ll catch a few for you,” han shu said, nodding in amusement after hearing this.

what else could he do? he could only agree.

after all, tang rui had replaced all their equipment.

he was well aware of the value of this equipment.

the key point was that tang rui had not taken any money for it.

this made him feel quite embarrassed.

so, for tang rui to ask for a few cubs was a minor matter. he could not possibly not be busy with such a task.

compared to this batch of equipment, catching a few cubs was nothing.

“that’s settled then. 1’11 wait at home,” tang rui said with a grin.

han shu nodded and then boarded the ship and set off.

only after the ship left the dock did tang rui return to the company by car.

“what to do now?”

after returning to the company, tang rui found himself very bored.

there was a group of researchers working on the armed satellite. he just needed to take a look occasionally, without needing to put in much effort.

the ground support attack aircraft project, led by feng yuanxing and others, was doing very well, and they were already preparing to produce a prototype.

he did not need to manage the company’s projects.

the project he needed to worry about was still in the early stages of preparation.

in other words, he still had several months of free time.

“red lotus, open the memos,” tang rui said after thinking for a while, unable to come up with anything else to do.

he could only ask red lotus to open the notebook to see if there was anything left undone or unfinished.

after opening the memos, tang rui read them one by one, crossing off everything that was done.

when he got to the sixth item, his hand stopped.

“space shuttle manufacturing and nuclear rocket engines.”

seeing this memo, tang rui remembered something.

the buran space shuttle that he had obtained from the russians was for researching this technology.

but he had been busy during this period and had forgotten about it.

the nuclear rocket engine was also something he had thought of at that time, to be used as a supporting power for the space shuttle.

nuclear-powered rocket engines weren’t some kind of black technology. in the 1950s and 1960s, the soviets and americans attempted to apply nuclear power to various equipment.

planes, trains, cars, heavy artillery, missiles… all kinds of groundbreaking ideas.

some of these ideas would still be considered advanced technology even now.

for example, the famous pluto nuclear-powered missile.

a missile with theoretically unlimited range.

capable of carrying 13 nuclear bombs.

and it could emit nuclear radiation while flying, essentially a flying disaster.

however, the nuclear rocket engine that tang rui wanted to develop was different from the nuclear missiles that emitted exhaust radiation everywhere.

the americans had used a nuclear reactor as the core for a pulse detonation engine.

what tang rui wanted to create was a nuclear-powered rocket engine, which would use the heat from the nuclear reactor to heat liquid hydrogen, allowing the heated hydrogen to be ejected through expansion and acceleration from the nozzle.

currently, there were only three types of nuclear rocket technology in the world: the radioactive isotope rocket engine, the nuclear fission rocket engine, and the thermonuclear rocket engine.

each type of nuclear-powered rocket engine had its own advantages and disadvantages, but their common advantage was a high specific impulse, far surpassing chemical rockets.

“red lotus, display the model of the space shuttle.”

tang rui was ready to work on the space shuttle and nuclear-powered rocket engine. he had nothing else to do anyway.

he could create a new toy to play with.

“replace all the equipment in the space shuttle with the latest models and all the materials with the top-tier ones, then simulate the internal structure,” tang rui instructed while looking at the model of the blizzard space shuttle.

“yes, master,” red lotus responded, beginning to replace all the equipment according to their functions.

the buran was sorely outdated.

its technology was somewhat useful, but there was nothing significant.

the only use was the internal design of the space shuttle, which had been validated through practice.

in less than five minutes, all the equipment and materials had been replaced.

red lotus also optimized the internal structure, creating a lot of space. if tang rui wanted, he could even transform it into a three-bedroom, two-living room lounge.

“red lotus, change the design of the space shuttle. don’t consider the aerodynamic layout, choose from the gallery, and make it as beautiful as possible,” tang rui said, frowning at the ugly shape of the space shuttle. since aerodynamics did not need to be considered, it should be as beautiful as possible.

“master, is it okay to use the shape of the aircraft from the ship seller?” red lotus asked.

“sure,” tang rui nodded after hearing this.

you could criticize the game, but you had to admit that the spaceships were beautifully made.

and it wasn’t just the exterior design; the interior design was also very nice, definitely in line with human aesthetics and had a very ergonomic design.

very quickly, red lotus transformed the space shuttle into a small spaceship using calculations.

a small white 3ooi spaceship.

this spaceship wasn’t large; it was truly a miniature craft.

but the cockpit and interior were very beautiful.

with red lotus’s manufacturing capabilities, she could perfectly replicate the structure and interior of the spaceship. the only thing she couldn’t replicate was the engine.

the blue net-like electric thruster engine at the rear looked gorgeous.

however, current technology simply couldn’t achieve an electric propulsion engine that would allow the space shuttle to fly out of the atmosphere from the ground.

but this wasn’t a big problem.

tang rui was prepared to replace it with a nuclear-powered rocket engine.

it was just changing an engine, and it wouldn’t affect the usage effect..
