“if there really is an oil pocket in the geological structure, then our country will definitely not be short of oil. or rather, no country in the world will be short of oil. it’s just that in some places, the oil pockets are buried very deep due to geological conditions, so they have not been discovered.”

tang rui looked at the geological structure model on the holographic projection screen in front of him and muttered softly.

“no, some countries will still be short of oil,” professor zhao shook his head. “even if there is an oil pocket, it may still be insufficient.”

“for example?” tang rui asked curiously.

“for example, the geological structure of tu’ao. even if there are oil pockets, they are likely very deep. basically, there are no conditions for mining.”

“but they are full of mineral veins.”

“let’s not talk about them. in our country, there are a few places that meet the conditions for large-scale oil fields. however, after previous explorations, no oil fields were found.

now that we have president tang’s equipment, we can go over and explore to find the underground oil field.”

“which part of our country meets the conditions to have a large oil field?

daqing or somewhere else?”

“not the qing kingdom, but the liao river.”

the three of them talked for a while. the two professors were still optimistic about finding an oil field, given the vastness of the country.

according to current speculation, as long as it was not a special geological environment, oil pockets would likely exist. it was just a matter of how much and how deep they were. it would be rare to find no oil pockets at all.

“but we don’t have enough equipment. it would be great if we had more of this kind. we wouldn’t have to wait to change locations every time,” professor shen said.

“this is a minor issue. 1’11 arrange for production tonight. we’ll be able to produce a lot by tomorrow.”

“aren’t we going to the northeast tomorrow?”

“wait for the equipment…why don’t we go to jiuzhaigou tomorrow and explore it?” tang rui suggested.

“alright, let’s go to jiuzhaigou.”

in the evening, tang rui mentioned to the people from sichuan oil that he wanted to go to jiuzhaigou for an inspection and exploration.

the other party immediately expressed that there was no problem.

there was no issue at all. jiuzhaigou’s terrain was very special and definitely had scientific research value.

the next day, tang rui and the others went to jiuzhaigou to conduct scientific research, mainly on geological issues.

the three big shots arrived at jiuzhaigou.

it was a highly confidential scientific research project.

naturally, jiuzhaigou valley had to be sealed off. anyway, it would only be for a day, so it was a minor issue.

just like that, tang rui did what he promised li shuyao.

he said he was here to see the scenery in jiuzhaigou.

he had to.

as for scientific research, he would leave it to the two big shots.

they relaxed for an entire day.

the next day, tang rui brought a group of people and eight dumplings back to the company.

li shuyao and the breeder disembarked from the plane at the company.

tang rui took the group and flew directly to the liaohe oil field for an inspection.

red lotus had built 1500 sets of detection equipment the previous day.

to increase manufacturing speed, tang rui had red lotus reduce the degree of exquisiteness of the equipment. as long as the effect wasn’t compromised, they could make it a bit larger.

then, red lotus increased the size of the equipment to that of a computer’s mainframe box, and the probe became a 30-centimeter-long rod.

however, this did not affect its effectiveness.

upon arriving at the liaohe oil field, the local military was ready.

after distributing the equipment, they followed tang rui’s instructions, taking the equipment to their respective coordinates, and inserting the rods into the ground.

tang rui and the two professors sat in the rv.

he looked at the holographic projection screen, which was displaying a visualized geological structure model that was continuously spreading underground.

“there is indeed an oil pocket. the oil field on the liaohe river is the underground oil pocket that was squeezed to the surface due to geological fluctuations.

or rather, the oil fields by the sea are all spread from the underground oil pocket to the surface due to the compression of continental plates and geological issues,” professor zhao said excitedly. his hypothesis was correct.

the reason he wasn’t sure in sichuan province was that the oil pocket there was too thin and the reserves were small.

however, the liaohe oil field had vast reserves.

the two were not on the same level at all.

“why do 1 feel that the oil fields on the seabed are even larger than those on land?”

as tang rui spoke, he zoomed in on the model of the seaside detection boundary.

this was a huge oil field buried 6.2 kilometers underground. this oil field was connected to the underground oil pocket, and the connecting channel between the two could be clearly seen.

moreover, the boundary of this oil field was not shown.

however, even the current reserves had reached an astonishing 440 billion tons.

tang rui even suspected that if they explored all the parts at the bottom of the sea, the reserves of this oil field might exceed a trillion tons.

“if this oil field is exploited, we still need to import oil. it’s not bad if we don’t export it.”

“according to the current exploration data, the oil pocket below the liaohe oil field should be connected to the oil pocket below the bohai bay and the yellow sea.

this area is where the oil resources are concentrated, similar to the gulf region, so there must be a large oil field at the bottom of the sea.”

“then what are we waiting for? let’s go to the sea and investigate.”

“we don’t have a boat, right?”

“leave this problem to me.”

tang rui picked up the confidential phone, dialed the number of a navy big shot, and briefly explained the situation.

it could be summarized in one sentence.

i, tang rui, apply for a warship.

after receiving approval, he hung up the phone.

if

yes,” tang rui said to the two professors. “we’ll board the ship at jinzhou port in half an hour.”

“we’re getting on a ship? what ship?” the two professors were stunned.

“warship,” tang rui said indifferently.

the other two were professors, but they had no relationship with the military.

after all, they weren’t in the field of weapons research.

tang rui was different.

he had many connections in the military. if there was anything, he could usually settle it with a phone call.

half an hour later, at jinzhou port, a comprehensive supply ship from the huludao navy logistics base docked.

after loading the rv and a bunch of equipment onto the boat, the comprehensive supply ship set off.

during this period, tang rui let red lotus control the drone and airdroped a few undewater robots for underwater exploration.

after all, they couldn’t send the equipment to the bottom of the sea with frogmen.

a few underwater robots were definitely not enough.

red lotus was still working on the modifications. when the manufacturing was done, airdrops would be sent over.

in the next two days, tang rui and the others were on the warship, constantly probing the data on the seabed. the more they probed, the more alarming it became.

if the oil fields on the seabed were exploited, it would be a significant discovery.

the oil field was too big.

the reserves had long exceeded a trillion tons.

however, the entire underground oil pocket still gave the impression of being endless. it was incredibly surprising.

it was also the detector made by tang rui that could probe more than 50 kilometers underground. otherwise, even if you said it out loud, no one would believe it.

three days later, tang rui and the others created an oil resource map.

this map included the ocean economic zone from bohai bay to the korean and japanese territories.

there was oil under the sea.

even now, the underwater robots were still exploring the area. they had already reached the east china sea.

but the boundary of that large area of undersea oil pocket hadn’t even begun to appear. tang rui was worried that if he continued to probe like this, he would end up probing the pacific ocean. that would be interesting.

however, there were indeed treasures buried under the sea.

however, the problem was that mining was also very difficult. it wasn’t simple. with the current technology of marine drilling platforms, it was really impossible to drill such a deep hole.

of course, this was the issue that the two professors were considering.

tang rui did not consider this. what he considered was placing the oil drilling platform there.

the first choice was to place it in front of the koreans and japanese.

build a 400-meter-long, 150-meter-wide drilling platform and install some defensive weapons on it.

defensive weapons such as the dongfeng and giant waves.

there would be a few io,ooo-ton police boats with 112 units parked beside them.

the very thought of it was exciting.

however, the two neighboring countries would definitely go crazy.

therefore, this idea could not be realized, and the higher-ups would not agree to it.

oil extraction must be done in their own backyard.

but in their own backyard…

with so many oil fields not being exploited, it felt like a loss.

the feeling of pumping oil from one’s own house was different from pumping oil from others.

although the underground oil pockets were connected together, the oil fields on the seabed were not connected.

“elder zhao, let’s build a transfer platform here and connect these six oil fields together through the underground tunnel. when we extract the oil from their oil field, will they notice?” tang rui pointed at a position on the map and said.

of course, they would have found it, but they definitely wouldn’t have thought that we were the ones who pumped it. this is because the oil field is underground. once it leaks, the pressure of the gurgling well will decrease.

“however, it’s basically impossible for us to extract the oil from these three oil fields through underground tunnels. the technical difficulty is too great.”

professor zhao looked at the map and shook his head.

“i’ll solve the technical problems. let’s plan the oil pipeline and see which route we should take.”

tang rui said confidently.

wasn’t it just technique?

it was not a big deal.

as long as the equipment could solve the problem, it was not a problem.

“if the technology is not a problem, then build a drilling platform from here. then, with this drilling platform as the center, dig five underground tunnels and combine these five oil wells together.

then, we’ll dig a submarine oil pipeline from the drilling platform and connect it directly from bohai bay to dalian.”

professor zhao thought for a moment and drew a few lines on the map.

“if that’s the case, it’s better to build a submarine tunnel from shandong to dalian. the crude oil can be divided into two pipes and transported to northeast china and east china respectively.” professor shen said.

“yes, the undersea tunnel can not only transport crude oil, but it can also be opened to traffic, connecting northeast china and east china. by then, the economy of northeast china will be much better.” professor zhao nodded.

after tang rui heard what the two said, he looked at the lines on the map again.

good heavens.

the undersea tunnel that ran through bohai bay was open to traffic and transported oil at the same time. this was a win.

“alright, let’s do it.”

tang rui said without the slightest hesitation..
