“what’s the new equipment at that moment?”

“cruise missiles.”

after han shu finished speaking, he displayed the real-time panoramic map of the hada region and then zoomed in on the blue dots on it.

the enlarged blue dot was the hidden location of a special forces squad, which had been hiding there for a day.

han shu tapped on the screen for the special forces team.

swipe!

a wheel-shaped icon appeared on the holographic projection screen.

these small icons represented personnel status, issuing orders, remote communication, emergency evacuation, and a supplies list.

han shu first clicked on the supplies list icon.

swipe!

the screen showed all the remaining supplies of this special forces team, even with illustrations.

after viewing the supplies list, han shu waved his hand to return to the previous interface and clicked on issuing orders again.

swipe!

there were two ways to issue orders: one was through text commands, where one could type in instructions, and the other was through voice commands, directly sending a voice message.

apart from this, photos and videos could also be sent.

it looked a bit like wechat.

but this system didn’t have built-in emoticons.

“immediately launch 64 cruise missiles, evacuate after launching, and head to the new coordinates to hide and wait for the next order.”

han shu preferred not to use voice commands, so he sent a text message, which he felt conveyed orders more clearly.

message sent.

on the other side, the special forces team hidden in the mountains received han shu’s order.

without wasting a single moment, everyone started moving the moment they received the order, beginning to dismantle the cruise missiles mounted on mechanical dogs.

each special forces team carried 120 cruise missiles, all mounted on six mechanical dogs.

it looked like a small mountain.

in less than three minutes.

64 cruise missiles were dismantled and loaded into detachable launchers, ready to be fired.

“captain, cruise missiles loaded, launchers ready. shall we fire?”

“fire.”

following the captain’s order, all team members started launching the cruise missiles. the detachable launchers could only fire four missiles at a time. after launching, they continued loading and firing.

soon, all 64 cruise missiles were launched.

they didn’t care where these missiles went or what their targets were. after launching, they dismantled the launchers, folded them back onto the mechanical dogs, and then started moving to the next hiding spot to wait for new orders.

inside the command center.

after seeing the 64 cruise missiles launched, han shu spoke directly, “red lotus, guide these missiles to the hada region’s enemy, prioritizing the enemy’s high-ranking officers and combat forces.”

“understood, currently identifying and locking on targets.”

red lotus analyzed and compared the identities of these enemies through satellite scans, locked onto the commanders and densely populated areas, and then controlled the cruise missiles to accelerate.

the tribal mixed forces, who had just occupied the hada region and were still confused, hadn’t noticed anything unusual.

at that time, they were celebrating in the original sudanese military camp.

yes.

celebrating.

they took out supplies from the military camp and started reveling in the camp, with many even discarding their weapons.

as for the tribal leaders and a mercenary squad collaborating with them, they were in the camp’s meeting room, discussing the next plan.

“boss! incoming missiles! take cover!”

a mercenary standing at the window on lookout, seeing the cruise missiles in the sky, immediately retreated, pulling the captain and running outside to find a hidden place.

unfortunately, they weren’t fast enough.

when he spotted the cruise missiles, they were already less than 200 meters from them.

the 64 cruise missiles flew silently and diverging in their paths.

it would’ve been invisible if not for the daylight.

the dive-accelerating cruise missiles, reaching an astonishing speed of 260 km/h, covered the 200 meters in less than three seconds.

boom!

the high-explosive battery exploded the instant it hit the room, engulfing the entire room in flames and shockwaves.

the walls and ceiling burst at that moment.

the power was indeed terrifying.

at the same time, the reveling tribal soldiers outside were also turned to dust in the successive explosions.

the blast radius of the 64 cruise missiles covered the entire camp, with almost no blind spots.

when the explosion ended and the dust thrown into the sky settled.

there was no one left breathing in the entire camp.

“payload delivered, 3216 enemies eliminated, 2 severely wounded, 1 lightly wounded,” red lotus reported easily through satellite scans, having grasped the outcome of the battle, so it immediately reported after the attack.

“you call that a cruise missile?” han shu looked at the still image on the screen, dumbfounded, looking at tang rui.

this was what you called a small toy.

usually, it could be used as a battery, in combat as a hand grenade, and remotely as a cruise missile.

the power it encapsulated was simply too frightening.

at that moment, tang rui was also startled by the explosive power of the high-explosive battery.

this was even more powerful than a ten-kilogram fire extinguishing agent, in terms of fragmentation and shrapnel lethality.

truly worthy of the samsung technology tree.

its power was indeed impressive.

thinking about it, a cell phone battery was so small, yet it exploded with such force.

this was a cylindrical battery several tens of centimeters long, an optimized version from the system; it would be strange if it wasn’t powerful.

“the power is alright, but it’s far less compared to the double-barreled gun. let’s not talk about this, we’ve achieved our goal, right? what’s the next step?”

tang rui waved his hand, indicating to han shu to ignore this minor issue.

after the conversation shifted to tactics, han shu unusually fell silent.

this made tang rui curious.

he was fine just a moment ago.

why is he silent now?

“what’s wrong, didn’t we achieve our tactical goal? shouldn’t we, since all the enemies are gone?” tang rui asked, puzzled.

“it’s precisely because they’re all gone that we didn’t achieve our tactical goal,” han shu said somewhat speechlessly.

his original plan was to eliminate a third or a fifth of the enemies to cause panic, then have the enemy reinforce the hada region, and then send troops to charge over.

this way, the enemy would act according to the original plan.

but the result…

the toy tang rui provided was too powerful, and its lethality was too effective, wiping out the enemy in one sweep.

the tactics couldn’t be executed anymore.

this was really frustrating.

at this moment, not only was han shu distressed, but the other side was even more distressed, many times more so.

the plan was set.

all relevant orders had been issued.

but as soon as they made a move, their claws were chopped off.

this was unexpected.

how could the enemy react so quickly?

and the speed, too. it had only been a short while. five minutes ago, they reported everything was going smoothly, and they had occupied hada.

but five minutes later, when he called, no one answered.

if not for the spy satellite constantly watching.

he wouldn’t have known what happened there.

what was the next step?

redraft the plan?

impossible.

so he thought it over and decided to stick to the plan.

who to send to the hada region then? the tribe wasn’t reliable, the soldiers’ quality was too low, and they had no anti-aircraft means.

thus, they could only send their own people to the front.

“order lightning bird company to send people to the hada region to build a defense line, and warn them to be wary of the enemy’s missiles.”

after issuing the order, the signalman took the command and headed to lightning bird company’s station.

this lightning bird company, owned by a military-industrial consortium, was a military contracting company, so their equipment was excellent.

this time, they brought unlisted fourth-generation main battle tanks and brand-new wheeled armored vehicles.

sending them to the front, even if facing an asu home army several times their size, posed no problem.

as for the special forces team, they wouldn’t be able to shake such a level of armored troops, so sending them would ensure the smooth execution of the plan.

once lightning bird company moved, the plan resumed.

however, this time, they adjusted the plan, gathering all the tribal forces originally meant to support the hada region and sending them to attack a city in the rear.

those tribal forces would only get in the way if they joined lightning bird, so the five tribal forces began their grand march towards the city in the rear..
