“these are all submarine geological data. based on your plan, we have designed a path…”

when tang rui arrived in dalian, he was sought out by professor zhao.

the other party brought out all the geological data and the designed path of the submarine tunnel they had been planning during this time, letting tang rui take a look first.

according to the analysis and research of their group of professors, the submarine tunnel was not a straight line, but a curved one.

this design was necessary mainly due to the geological conditions of the seabed.

it wasn’t that a straight line was impossible, but that approach would make construction more difficult and introduce hidden dangers.

“hmm, this path is generally fine, but this part needs to be modified,” tang rui said after reviewing the path plan. he drew a circle on it, indicating a submarine ore vein.

professor zhao and his team had deliberately avoided this ore vein in their planning, so there was a slight difference from the path designed by red lotus. “is this an ore vein? why does the path go through here?” professor zhao was a bit puzzled by tang rui’s idea.

was he deliberately seeking difficulty?

“what for?”

“because i’m placing the drilling platform here.”

“a drilling platform?”

professor zhao didn’t understand. who would place a drilling platform over a submarine ore vein? that was just asking for trouble.

“right, it’s here. i will explain the specific reasons in detail at the meeting.”

“alright, it’s about time now, let’s head to the venue,” professor zhao said, nodding after hearing the explanation.

and so, they left the room and headed to the meeting venue.

by the time they arrived, the venue was already full of people, including seven or eight professors, research teams, and heads of various major construction companies.

groups like china railway, china construction, petrochina, sinopec, cnooc, etc., had all sent at least one person in charge.

“since everyone is here, let’s start the meeting.”

as tang rui spoke, he connected his laptop to the projector, controlled by red lotus.

a plan of the submarine tunnel appeared on the big screen.

it was similar to the path planned by professor zhao, with the only difference being that it went directly through the submarine ore vein.

“this is the route plan for the bohai bay submarine tunnel. the key issue is this submarine ore vein.

the reason for choosing this is mainly because the ore vein is very useful. i plan to use this place as the base for the submarine drilling platform.”

as tang rui spoke, red lotus controlled the computer, constantly changing the images on the big screen.

this included the general architectural design of the submarine drilling platform.

tang rui was right.

it wasn’t an offshore drilling platform, but a submarine one.

red lotus had simulated many times that if the drilling platform was placed on the sea surface, it would be difficult to withstand the impact of tsunamis.

although there were hardly any typhoons in bohai bay, let alone tsunamis, it was better to be safe than sorry.

so, he thought about it and moved the entire platform from the sea surface to the seabed, so there would be no need to worry about tsunamis.

as for the increased difficulty in construction.

that was a minor issue.

if he was concerned about construction difficulty, he wouldn’t have specifically chosen a submarine ore vein, which is much harder to deal with than ordinary mud and sand.

on the contrary, having this ore vein naturally adds a layer of protection and a support pillar for the seabed.

once completed, the defense of the drilling platform would be strong enough to be considered at the level of nuclear defense works.

upon explaining his design, tang rui asked if anyone had any questions.

“president tang, i’m from china construction group. i want to know how our construction is arranged?”

the project leader from china construction group asked.

he was afraid that tang rui would arrange for them to work on the seabed, which would be extremely difficult for them.

it’s not that china construction couldn’t handle it.

it’s just that no one had ever been crazy enough to build a drilling platform inside a submarine ore vein. even if tang rui provided them with technology, the difficulty of the project would be beyond their capabilities.

after china construction group asked, the other construction companies, like china railway, were also eagerly looking at tang rui.

everyone had similar thoughts.

the plan was good.

everything was very well designed.

but the difficulty of the construction was off the charts.

“china construction, china railway, and other construction units, your task is to build the tunnel exits at yantai and dalian, as well as the submarine tunnel pipeline,” tang rui said, assigning them the easiest tasks, leaving the rest to others.

“president tang, what about the construction of the oil pipeline?” someone from petrochina asked.

“the oil pipeline doesn’t concern you. the pipeline is just below the seabed tunnel. you just need to do the onshore construction and leave the interface for docking,” tang rui replied.

the person from petrochina nodded, not asking anything further.

regarding the submarine drilling platform, he didn’t even dare to bring it up, afraid of what tang rui might say.

“later, the design drawings, construction plans, and the design drawings and parameters of the supporting equipment will all be sent to you.

study them after you go back and see how soon you can complete your projects. send the results to me for consolidation in three days.

if you have any questions, or anything unclear, you can directly email me.

don’t worry about the time.”

after tang rui finished speaking, the meeting ended.

everyone left with their construction plans, engineering drawings, and performance parameters of equipment parts.

tang rui and a few professors stayed behind to continue the meeting in a smaller conference room, discussing more in-depth topics.

but he had already thoroughly understood this plan before coming, so even though the professors took turns, they couldn’t find any faults.

“when will our project start?” one of the professors asked.

“i’ve already started on my end,” tang rui replied casually.

he had already started the construction on the seabed, controlled by red lotus.

“alright then, we’ll also go back and keep an eye on the other units, make them move faster.”

“okay, that’s settled then. call me if there’s anything.”

after the meeting, tang rui went to the dock and set out to sea on a yacht.

“red lotus, how’s the construction on the seabed going? any problems?” tang rui asked in the luxurious living room of the yacht.

“master, all equipment is functioning normally. however, these submarines are equipped with old drill bits. if we switch to our newly developed wear-resistant alloy, the construction speed could double,” red lotus’s holographic projection appeared, speaking to tang rui.

“manufacture a few drill bits, and replace them with new ones once these ones are severely worn.”

“alright, master. red lotus understands.”

tang rui nodded and began eating a plate of cherries, which were in season.

cherries were plentiful in dalian, many varieties and very fresh.

two hours later, gaoyang steered the yacht above the submarine ore vein.

“red lotus, release the robots.”

upon arriving, tang rui instructed red lotus to drop the pre-prepared submarine construction robots and underground excavation robots into the sea.

construction within the submarine ore vein could only be carried out by these robots.

“master, all robots have been released. shall we start construction?” red lotus asked.

“no rush, send two robots to scout around first,” tang rui said, shaking his head.

there was no hurry for construction.

even if he worked quickly, the submarine tunnel couldn’t be completed if the other areas were slow.

so right now, he was in no hurry.

he would adjust the construction schedule based on the data from those groups after they submitted their plans and proposals.

for now, it was his vacation time.

just before construction, he found some fun.

“alright, master. two construction robots have been dispatched and are expected to arrive in eleven minutes.”

“also, red lotus, reroute the neutrino information capture radar satellite in geostationary orbit above sudan to a synchronous orbit above bohai bay.” “alright, master. the rerouting is underway and is expected to be completed in ten minutes.”

without a full view, watching only through the perspective of the seabed robots was frustrating and oppressive.

that’s why he had the neutrino satellite brought back.

after all, there was nothing left to do there.

in ten minutes, the rerouting of the neutrino satellite was completed.

on the holographic projection screen in front of tang rui, the displayed scene changed to a full view.

the two seabed robots were rapidly approaching the offshore drilling platform still under construction by the koreans.

this view… was much more comfortable to watch than the previous perspective.

and it also allowed a clear view of the construction situation on the koreans’ side..
