that night, brother-in-law li molin’s family arrived at tang rui’s villa.

“the congo issue has been settled. you just need to arrange for someone to go and mine the ore.”

the reason why tang rui invited his brother-in-law’s family over for a meal.

it was mainly because of the congo problem.

it was supposed to be a good thing, but because of french interference, his brother-in-law almost died.

the situation over there was basically under control and had returned to the hands of the chinese. the mine could continue operations, so he informed his brother-in-law and asked him to make arrangements.

“brother-in-law, is everything really fine over there?” li molin asked with lingering fear.

after all, what happened last time was an indelible trauma to him.

“don’t worry, it’s definitely fine. besides, you don’t have to go this time. just arrange for someone to go.”

“alright, 1’11 arrange it tomorrow. 1 definitely won’t go.”

they chatted for a while.

li shuyao called the two of them over for dinner.

after dinner, his brother-in-law’s family left.

early the next morning, tang rui took the solid rocket engine that red lotus had built overnight and drove the fighter jet away from the company.

he was going to test the engine.

this could not be done in the company.

because the fuel was poisonous, they had to go to a specialized venue.

however, when tang rui piloted the fighter jet and arrived at a high-security test site in the sichuan area, he discovered that a bunch of big shots were here. only professors could be called big shots by him.

he had just parked the plane and was about to get off.

a group of big shots surrounded him.

“tang rui, i’ve been friends with old yu for many years. you came here as if you’ve returned to your own home. i’ll bring you to my place first.”

“go to the side. that thing you’re studying is a waste of time. besides, old yu hasn’t even spoken three sentences to you, and you still have the cheek to say that you’ve been friends for many years.”

“both of you, step aside. old yu is my classmate. when we were in school, we were the best friends. his students are my students, so i’ll definitely be the one to entertain them.”

“don’t be noisy, tang rui. you’re here to test the solid rocket engine, right?

that’s just nice. our rocket is also being tested.”

tang rui listened to this group of big shots in front of him, one sentence after another, making him have a dumbfounded look.

what was going on?

“that… why don’t 1 give my teacher a call first?”

“yes, call him. i’ll talk to old yu.”

“i’ll tell him too.”

when tang rui saw this situation, he could only take out his phone and call professor yu.

“hey… teacher, now i…”

before tang rui could finish, the professor next to him shouted into the phone,”old yu, since your student is here, 1 will definitely take good care of him. don’t worry.”

“tang rui, give me the phone, i’ll talk to him.”

tang rui handed the phone over. a group of big shots held the phone and began to talk to professor yu.

tang rui took advantage of this time to unload the pod under the fighter jet with the ground crew.

then, he took the phone from an professor.

“hey… teacher… alright… i know…it’s alright…

alright, i’ll hang up first. goodbye, teacher.”

after hanging up the phone, the few professors in front of him looked at him eagerly, waiting for his decision.

professor yu had just told him about the situation briefly.

the few professors in front of him were all involved in aerospace research, including rocket engines, manned spaceships, space stations, suborbital spacecraft, and so on.

if it was before, they definitely wouldn’t be so free. it would be a waste of time to specially come out to pick him up.

however, it was different now. the higher-ups already knew that he had the seg unit.

however, even if he knew, he couldn’t make it anywhere else.

even red lotus found it difficult to manufacture the seg unit, and it was difficult to guarantee a good product rate, let alone other places.

however, the demand for the seg unit in the aerospace industry could no longer be described as exuberant. it was a necessity.

since it was a necessity, which project didn’t need it?

however, this thing could only be manufactured by tang rui’s smart factory at the moment. the higher-ups clearly stated that they were not allowed to disturb him.

as a result, even if the aerospace projects wanted the seg unit, they couldn’t go to him directly.

it was all good now. he had delivered himself to his doorstep.

facing the gazes of several professors, tang rui could only bite the bullet and say, “i want to take a look at our suborbital aircraft.”

“come, follow me. i’ll give you the blueprint.”

one professor was overjoyed. he pulled tang rui and wanted to slip away.

“it’s just a broken aircraft that can enter orbit. its performance isn’t even as good as your sky shuttle.”

“you guys can be jealous.”

tang rui could only awkwardly smile at the other professors and then follow them into the mountain.

this was the true underground “great wall of nuclear power,” unlike his, which stopped after only five kilometers.

from this mountain base, one could drive directly to other provinces. this was the true underground nuclear atlantis.

“tang rui, let me tell you about the situation of our project first.”in the car, professor li began to talk to tang rui about the suborbital spacecraft.

tang rui listened very seriously.

if he hadn’t cheated, this project would have been a real spacecraft technology verification project and the accumulation of technology for the seventh-generation console.

for example, if he took out the seg unit and directly used electromagnetic anti-gravity, that would be considered evil.

it wasn’t part of the conventional understanding of aerospace technology.

through professor li’s explanation, he also understood the current situation of suborbital spacecraft.

simply put, there was no problem with the spacecraft.

even if it was a high-intensity round trip, the ship would be able to withstand it.

there were two main problems at the moment. one was the problem of the engine, and the other was the problem of maneuverability.

it can be said that we have solved one of the three problems of the sub-orbital spacecraft.

the remaining two were still being overcome.

“professor li, can’t the previous variable mode rocket engine technology be used on suborbital spacecraft?” tang rui asked curiously after listening.

“you’re talking about feitian-1, right? that can be used, but there are some technical problems that need to be solved.”

professor li shook his head.

“then, professor li, what are your thoughts now?”

“our idea is to install an seg unit on it. this will solve all the problems.”

ugh!

tang rui was completely speechless and did not know what to say.

“don’t worry, i’m not looking for you for the seg unit. although that thing is good, it’s not our route.

once all the aircraft use that thing, our space exploration will also stagnate.

“therefore, we have to continue our research. we have to solve the problem in the atmosphere first. then, we can use it as we wish.”

the older generation of scientists had a very deep understanding of problems.

the seg unit was good.

however, it wasn’t part of the core technologies of the aerospace industry.

if there was no breakthrough in aerospace technology in the atmosphere, they would directly use the seg unit to forcefully transfer aerospace technology research from the atmosphere to outer space. that would cause a technological gap..
