the short fifteen-minute video got tang rui’s blood boiling.

he couldn’t even stay seated on the couch.

he got up and paced around the laboratory.

“red lotus, show the comments.”

“yes, master.”

swoosh!

the comments were displayed one by one, spanning hundreds of pages.

tang rui looked at the comments below, a slight smile curling the corners of his mouth.

the netizens were quite talented.

after reading the comments for a while, he noticed that some public accounts on the internet had started riding on the video’s traffic.

who caused this promotional video to have such high traffic?

tang rui didn’t bother checking the content of those traffic accounts; reading too much could lower one’s iq.

however, he opened a few public accounts run by individuals who collaborated with the military to see what they had posted.

“hello everyone, i’m old yang. the content of today’s video is mainly about the deterrence that our military has just released… no, it’s a recruitment video.” goodness.

this slip of the tongue was serious.

it had to be someone with inside information; otherwise, they couldn’t make such a precise mistake.

in fact, the only thing missing from this recruitment video was the words ‘all of you better behave’ engraved on your foreheads.

so, this slip of the tongue wasn’t a big deal.

“everyone enjoyed watching it. old yang enjoyed watching it too. the director of the propaganda video has a very strong connection. he actually took out most of our assets to show off.

now, old yang mentioned a few keywords: the sixth-generation aircraft, the h-20 stealth strategic bomber, the 096 strategic nuclear submarine, the julang-3 submarine-launched intercontinental ballistic missile, the j-35 carrier aircraft, the loyal wingman program, and the subspace aircraft.

the air force had introduced a lot of new equipment, but there was only one missile, so let’s talk about the 096-class strategic nuclear submarine first.

compared to the o94’s 12 missile tubes, the 096 had 18, and it carried the julang-3 intercontinental ballistic missile.

it might sound like it made no difference, but the 096 was much more powerful than the 094. the most significant technological breakthrough was the shaftless pump propulsion technology developed by professor ma.

the noise a submarine made came from the air bubbles generated by the rotating propellers and the sound of bearings and gears. even the americans and the russians had the same problem.

but our 096 was different. shaftless pump propulsion technology revolutionized the previous-generation propeller propulsion technology, significantly reducing 096’s noise level.

in addition, professor ma also designed an integrated power system for the 096, making it…”

at this point, tang rui closed the video.

there was nothing new to see because he was already familiar with this information.

as someone with a cooperative relationship with the military, old yang must have obtained internal information. otherwise, outsiders wouldn’t have access to the technical parameters of the 096, let alone its internal comprehensive system.

however, old yang was right about one thing.

this time, the country had indeed showcased most of their assets.

the ones not revealed were simply too advanced and inconvenient to display.

tang rui felt a little regretful that the tanks and fire support vehicles he had just designed didn’t make it into this promotional video.

nonetheless, the internet was in an uproar.

this promotional video quickly spread worldwide through various channels, catching the attention of military research experts from all over the world.

a new high-definition promotional video from the chinese.

nobody wanted to miss out on this, eager to study which parts of the video were genuine and which were just hype.

after careful analysis and research by the experts, they came to a conclusion.

everything was real.

darn it.

this was quite discomforting.

they had known for a while that china had hidden many valuable assets, but they didn’t expect it to be this extensive.

this was especially true for the air force. they had showcased numerous top-notch aircraft all at once, not least of all the sixth-generation aircraft and stealth bomber, but also the carrier-based aircraft presented a challenge.

the hu jian aircraft carrier, which had just been launched, combined with the j-35 carrier aircraft, significantly improved their combat capabilities.

no matter how much they modified the j-15t, it was still a 4.5-generation fighter.

the fact that it lacked stealth capability was a fatal flaw.

once they encountered an f-35 at sea, they wouldn’t stand a chance.

but the j-35 was different.

it was also a fifth-generation stealth fighter and a carrier-based aircraft. before a fight, even the americans couldn’t confidently claim victory.

together, they had the confidence to give it a try.

however, recently, with the chinese rapidly revealing valuable assets, their confidence began to waver.

this was especially the case for their air force.

the threat they faced was significant, and it was the kind of threat that spanned generations.

without air superiority, there was practically no way to engage in warfare.

that was the situation for the american military.

without air support, they would be no better than the soviets.

so, after watching china’s new promotional video, the americans decided to temporarily dial back some of the more radical plans they had previously formulated.

however, in other aspects, they not only couldn’t ease up but had to intensify their efforts, leaving no room for respite.

tang rui turned off all the projection screens, left the laboratory, and went to the plant to check on the sixth-generation fighter in the assembly shop.

logically, it should be complete by now.

when he arrived, he found that the fighter jet had already been constructed, with the only thing left being the engine.

the engine had been manufactured and was undergoing testing.

after another 60 hours of testing and extreme evaluations, it could be installed.

once that happened, the first mass-produced sixth-generation fighter would officially roll off the assembly line and enter active service.

after his inspection, tang rui noticed there were more people in the assembly workshop.

upon inquiry, he learned that these individuals had been sent by chengdu aerospace corporation.

after considering the situation, the higher-ups decided to entrust chengdu aerospace with the production technology and assembly process of the sixth-generation console.

why?

because shen industries was rising to prominence.

the j-35 they had developed had been adopted by the military and became the carrier aircraft for the hu jian.

additionally, their j-18 had received military approval for foreign sales as a fighter jet.

this made chengdu uncomfortable.

originally, they could rely on the j-20 to contend with shen, but now that tang rui had developed a sixth-generation fighter jet, chengdu was in a bit of a pickle.

the sixth-generation fighter was ready. fifth-generation fighters weren’t obsolete, but they wouldn’t be as prominent as before.

the original large-scale installation plan was put on hold.

as a result, their days became a bit more challenging.

therefore, after considering the situation, the higher-ups decided to hand over the production of the sixth-generation fighter to chengdu aerps[ace as compensation.

tang rui wasn’t overly concerned about this.

whether it was chengdu aerospace or shen industries, it didn’t matter.

as long as they sent people to get the job done, it was fine.

the rest was inconsequential.

tang rui wandered around the assembly workshop and had a brief conversation with chengdu aerospace’s personnel before leaving.

he headed to the reservoir.

red lotus had recently constructed a small dock here.

the shipyard wasn’t large, capable of producing ships up to 3,000 tons at most. it wasn’t anything significant.

tang rui had red lotus build this dock primarily for manufacturing small submarines.

fortunately, there was a reservoir here.

once production was complete, they could directly test the submarines in the reservoir.

upon entering the dock, tang rui observed more than a dozen robotic arms welding the submarine’s hull.

the entire submarine wasn’t large, measuring only 11 meters in length, 5 meters in width, and 3 meters in height. it resembled a flat stick.

nonetheless, this submarine was indeed a formidable undersea weapon.

it featured shaftless pump propulsion technology and was a fully electric submarine, with underwater noise levels of only 63 decibels.

it was significantly quieter than the ocean itself.

in fact, after the submarine submerged, unless it deliberately revealed itself, it would be impossible to detect it with current sonar technology..
