the trouble i’ve caused is quite significant, isn’t it?” tang rui felt that things were starting to blow up.

“mr. tang, don’t think like that. no country can rise peacefully.

“the right to speak is not given; it’s earned through strength.

“in fact, even without this incident, the research at the academy of social sciences predicted that within three to five years, america would do the same. we’re just a bit ahead of schedule, and the impact isn’t significant. we’ve already prepared various response plans. it’s also an opportunity to assess different situations and make adjustments when necessary, so that we won’t face problems in crucial moments. besides, we’re not in the same situation as a hundred years ago. even if we add eighteen strongholds, we’re not powerless, let alone one america.”

colonel han shu, firm and resolute, stated.

tough words, indeed.

saying that they’ve dealt with eighteen strongholds before.

“alright, what do you need me to do?” tang rui was also getting excited.

“in order to prepare for the challenging future and gain experience in high-tech warfare, a special allocation of 18 billion has been approved, which will be used to establish a blue army as a hypothetical enemy. 1’11 command this blue army, and this 18 billion is meant for me to purchase advanced equipment. so, i’ve come here to request your help, president tang, in creating a comprehensive high-tech equipment system for our blue army. if you agree, the 18 billion will be transferred to crimson corporation’s account immediately, and you’ll serve as the special advisor to the blue army, holding tactical command authority.”

such a great opportunity.

tang rui wasn’t concerned about the 18 billion; he had enough money now.

he cared about the tactical command authority for the blue army.

directly conducting exercises.

he could command them.

this was better than playing real-time strategy games.

no need to say anything else, tang rui readily agreed and said to lin chao, “lin, transfer the company account to colonel han. i’ll take on this task.”

lin chao didn’t speak; he simply handed over the company account.

colonel han shu didn’t hesitate either.

he took out his phone, took a photo of the account, and then made a call, saying only one thing, “instruct the tobacco company to immediately transfer 18 billion to this account.”

after hanging up the phone, the two of them smiled at each other.

from now on, they would be comrades in arms.

“brother han, tell me, what’s the configuration of our blue army? how many people, what kinds of troops, and what weapons can they have?” tang rui asked, his tone and address had changed.

he was treating colonel han as one of his own now.

after all, colonel han’s resolute attitude was truly impressive.

he didn’t even ask when they were going to fight the enemy…

no, he didn’t ask about equipment; he just transferred the 18 billion.

this guy could handle it.

no wonder he could become the blue army’s commander.

“we don’t have many troops, only the organization of five regiments, but there are no restrictions on the types of troops. 1 can deploy any kind of troops from all branches, including but not limited to the army, navy, air force, rocket force, and special forces. equipment is also not restricted; even if i can buy aircraft carriers, there are no restrictions. the only limitation is the 18 billion in funding,” colonel han shu replied directly.

five regiments of troops?

that amounted to a sizable number, to put things mildly.

but if there were no restrictions on the troop type, it would be a little more manageable.

as for equipment, he was a man in need of money.

with 18 billion, at the cost of producing equipment, he could fully arm the five regiments.

first, he needed to think about the troop composition.

the air force was a necessity; at the very least, they needed a fighter squadron, equipped with the white emperor…

this 18 billion might not be quite enough.

“by the way, brother han, how many enemies do we have, and what is their equipment configuration?” tang rui asked a key question, putting equipment aside for now and inquiring about the enemy’s situation.

equipment configuration needed to be chosen based on the enemy’s situation; it was impossible to have one army as land forces and the other as naval forces if the enemy was the army.

“the enemy is the military. specifically, all the military units in the country. the equipment configuration includes all the currently deployed and undeployed weapons,” colonel han shu answered calmly.

“oh… i know it’s the military, but which specific unit and what weapon configuration?” tang rui didn’t quite understand and continued to ask.

“the enemy in the exercise is all the units in the entire military. as for the weapons configuration, it includes all currently deployed and undeployed weapons,” colonel han shu explained with the same calm expression.

tang rui couldn’t stay calm though.

what kind of enemy was that?

with five regiments, they were going to attack a whole country, and it seemed like it was a big and powerful country. it sounded like a suicide mission.

but he looked at colonel han’s serious expression and knew that this wasn’t a joke.

tang rui immediately turned to lin chao and asked, “has the money been transferred to the account?”

“it has,” lin chao nodded.

tang rui scratched his head, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

this… was a real challenge.

“it’s just that 1 didn’t explain clearly earlier. if tang rui doesn’t want to take on this task, you can have the money returned. i didn’t…”

“no need, let me think about it,” tang rui interrupted colonel han’s words and closed his eyes to think.

not taking on the task was impossible.

he had worked so hard to get this opportunity; how could he give it up?

but attacking a whole country with five regiments? that was practically suicidal.

it seemed they would have to rely on cutting-edge technology and unconventional methods.

“han, during the exercise, how will logistics and resupply work?” tang rui asked a critical question.

“there won’t be any logistics and resupply, but we can seize supplies. the blue army simulates the enemy of the future, so we’re the invading side. when we attack a place, everything there is ours. as long as that place can manufacture weapons, we’ll have a source of resupply,” colonel han shu explained.

no logistics and resupply?

they would have to seize supplies themselves?

tang rui’s mouth twitched, and he closed his eyes to think.

after a while, he said, “brother han, for now, let’s not worry about other types of troops. send a special forces unit over. we need elite soldiers.”

“alright, i’ll make the arrangements.”

colonel han shu didn’t waste any words and immediately called to have the eastern divine sword special forces sent over.

the entire eastern divine sword special forces had 3,000 soldiers.

of course, they couldn’t take all of them.

but they did request a significant number, specifically 1,000 of the most elite soldiers.

tang rui told colonel han to bring over two tactical teams first to test the new equipment.

then, he and colonel han went to the laboratory inside the mountain.

“han, if we’re going to attack, we must take jinling first,” tang rui said to colonel han.

“why?” colonel han shu was puzzled.

“because as long as we capture jinling, occupy crimson corporation’s headquarters, we can stand up to the reds.”

tang rui had it all figured out.

anywhere they captured that could produce things would count as a supply for the blue army.

so, it made sense to capture his own company first.

not only did it have production equipment, but it could also manufacture most weapons and equipment. plus, they could establish the blue army’s command headquarters there.

even if the red side used nuclear weapons, they wouldn’t be able to breach the defense fortifications here, let alone attempt an assassination; they couldn’t even enter.

“occupying here allows us to stand up to the red side?” colonel han shu was surprised; this sounded a bit too ambitious.

“han, welcome to the world’s only intelligent factory and defense base capable of withstanding nuclear strikes..
