“red lotus, when will the submarines be ready for production?”

“master, they can be completed at 11:15 tonight. currently, the main body welding and nano-coating are yet to be finished.”

the virtual image of red lotus appeared beside tang rui, holding a small submarine model.

“well, have all the diving equipment been manufactured?”

“all of them have been manufactured. in addition to that, based on your idea, 1 have designed an underwater cutting machine that can be used for cutting and drilling on both submarines and ships.”

red lotus displayed a computer screen-sized square machine and proudly presented it to tang rui.

“good, how many of those did you make?”

“we’ve made a total of five.”

“alright, when the time comes, along with the diving equipment, send them to the navy as a gift.”

“understood, master. i will take note of that.”

the next day, tang rui took a ride on the completed submarine in the reservoir but found it not as exciting as flying an aircraft. the visibility underwater was poor, like being in complete darkness. after a quick underwater ride, he had red lotus check if the submarine met the decibel standards and then headed back to shore.

“brother lin, notify the navy to come and collect the equipment. the diving equipment is all ready, and the prototype for the small submarine is completed.”

after leaving the dock, tang rui arrived at lin chao’s location and asked him to arrange transportation for the navy.

“alright, i’ve got it,” lin chao replied after listening.

in the afternoon, a y-20 aircraft landed on crimson corporation’s runway.

this aircraft was there to transport the small submarines.

was everything even going to fit?

no way.

this wasn’t about looking down on the y-20. although it was slightly smaller than the c-17, its cargo bay was spacious.

with a cargo hold measuring 20.8 meters in length, 5.5 meters in width, and 4.5 meters in height, it was more than enough to accommodate the small submarines and leave space for the diving equipment.

with the arrival of the y-20, all the navy’s equipment was loaded on board.

after seeing the y-20 off, tang rui began thinking about completing the air force’s large transport aircraft project. as he developed more and more equipment, it seemed practical to have his own transport aircraft. although they could borrow one from the air force, having their own would be more convenient and provide a different experience.

upon returning to the laboratory, tang rui had red lotus display his previous design models and began making modifications. his initial thoughts had been a bit scattered, but now he had a clear plan, allowing him to modify the designs swiftly.

while tang rui was working on revising the transport aircraft design, the navy was eagerly anticipating the delivery.

their initial order was made because the treasure from the sea floor had brought in substantial profits, and it was all thanks to tang rui’s discoveries. so, they planned to upgrade their equipment, and also thought about coming up with reasons to allocate some research funding to tang rui.

however…

in just a short amount of time, tang rui had already completed the prototype of the small submarine, and the parameters he provided were astonishing.

could they have… hit the jackpot?

so the navy immediately rushed to the airport, eagerly anticipating the return of the y-20.

half an hour later, with the roar of the y-20’s four powerful engines, the massive aircraft appeared in the sky and landed flawlessly on the runway.

once the aircraft had come to a stop, navy personnel rushed to inspect the cargo hold, where they couldn’t help but find the small submarines visually appealing, though they knew it was all psychological.

despite the high aesthetic value of tang rui’s equipment, submarines had to adhere to hydrodynamics, meaning their general shape couldn’t change too much no matter how well they were designed.

soon, the small submarines were loaded onto special navy vehicles and transported back to the submarine base.

after a short but intensive learning period and the intelligent design of the submarines, the elite navy team had mastered the art of driving the small submarines, and they had selected frogmen soldiers to accompany the submarines into the sea.

once all preparations were complete, the navy conducted tests on the small submarines in shallow waters.

after the submarines submerged, the anti-submarine vessels started their active sonar to locate the small submarines. the active sonar indeed detected the small submarines, but there was a problem: the sonar automatically categorized the submarines as marine creatures.

it identified them as whales, even when the small submarines were relatively close. however, if they were farther away, the active sonar might not have any effect.

after deactivating the active sonar, the navy relied on passive sonar to detect the small submarines. despite listening for a while, they didn’t hear any sounds. in the meantime, the small submarines had already circled the anti-submarine vessels three times.

the incredible underwater stealth capabilities left the navy thrilled, and their decision to provide funding had turned out to be quite a surprise.

over the next two days, the frogman team and the small submarines began underwater training to develop combat readiness quickly.

equipped with the diving gear, the navy’s combat effectiveness and firepower had been given a dramatic increment, earning them a significant boost.

paired with the small submarines, they became formidable underwater assassins. in one simulated exercise, the frogman team infiltrated a naval port and attacked warships..
