Devouring Evolution: Devouring Nuclear Bombs at the Start

48: Chapter 48 The Benefits of ”Confusing Information””It’s dead.”

After the Giant Fish was completely dead, Lin Sheng also stopped releasing the Biochemical Pollution.

The surroundings were a mess, left in disarray by Lin Sheng and the Giant Fish. Dark green mist, pale purple blood, black-purple blood, and silt permeated the area, making the seawater look extremely murky.

After dealing with the Giant Fish, Lin Sheng snapped back to reality and surveyed the battlefield. He then discovered that in the place where he had fought the Giant Fish, there were also many small fish and other aquatic creatures.

The largest of these creatures were only dozens of meters in size. They were all turned over, ”lying” on the sand and rocks of the seabed, their cause of death strikingly consistent with that of the Giant Fish.

”Just some scavengers looking for an easy meal. But they’ve already been poisoned to death by my gas.”

Lin Sheng glanced sideways at those creatures.

Originally, even if those creatures were scavenging nearby, they wouldn’t have died.

But since the Giant Fish had pressed him too hard and was so difficult to kill, Lin Sheng had no choice but to use a large-scale AOE attack.

This attack not only killed the Giant Fish but also took down these ”innocent” scavengers along with it.

”Sigh, if you want to blame someone, blame it.”

Lin Sheng sighed, then got up to pick up those small creatures and threw them together with the Giant Fish.

Setting the ”evolution points” aside for now, Lin Sheng didn’t swallow them immediately.

Because before that, Lin Sheng had one more thing to settle.

He brought his right claw in front of him and observed it carefully.

It was an arm completely composed of aggregated tentacles. The densely entwined tentacles looked like exposed flesh tissue; except for the color, everything else was quite similar.

Lin Sheng swung the arm a few times, and then he discovered a major problem.

This arm didn’t seem very obedient?

Lin Sheng stopped on the seabed. He extended his right claw, wanting to use two talons to pick up a small pebble from the sand.

But when the claw touched the pebble, it didn’t follow Lin Sheng’s thoughts by using two talons to pinch; instead, it simply grabbed the stone in its grip with the whole claw.

While this was still ”picking up the stone,” it wasn’t the command Lin Sheng had given to his right claw.

Lin Sheng suddenly felt a bit creeped out.

He muttered to himself, ”What’s the deal with this claw? Is it controllable? Is it dangerous to me? How do I solve this?”

The next moment, Omniscience provided the answer.

”The claw is also a part of my body. Although it’s a bit disobedient, it’s still controllable in the general direction.”

”Even if my entire body’s flesh is transformed by chaotic information, my body remains controllable, though only in a general sense at that point.”

”The reason chaotic information grew the right claw so quickly was due to my subjective will during the battle just now.”

”Just now, I kept wanting the wound to heal, so the chaotic information healed it directly.”

My subjective will can suppress

the expansion of chaotic information. As long as I eliminate the chaotic information on the right side of my body and then use my subjective will to suppress the growth of chaotic information, I can repair my body through Regeneration Cells or evolution points.

Information regarding the right claw surfaced in Lin Sheng’s mind. After learning this, he felt much more relieved.

Afterward, he began working on resolving the chaotic information on the right side of his body.

Although the chaotic information had already been written into his body’s source information, even if the right arm regrew, it would still carry some.

But a bit of chaotic information was harmless; Lin Sheng just wanted full control over his right claw.

Looking at the part of his body on the right side composed of tentacles, Lin Sheng gritted his teeth and directly bit off a large clump of them.

The expected pain did not come. Even though a large clump of flesh had been torn from his body, Lin Sheng only felt a bit of an itch at the wound.

At this moment, Lin Sheng also understood why he hadn’t felt much pain when the Giant Fish bit into his body again earlier.

At the time, Lin Sheng thought he had simply adapted. Now it turned out that bodies generated by chaotic information came with built-in Pain Immunity.

Lin Sheng was quite intrigued by this point.

If his pain could be minimized, then even if he encountered injuries that would normally be so painful they’d knock his consciousness out of his body, he could rely on this Pain Immunity to stay conscious.

But the thought that his body would become somewhat disobedient if he used chaotic information on a large scale gave Lin Sheng a creepy feeling.

This feeling also made Lin Sheng abandon the idea of using chaotic information on a large scale.

Lin Sheng had decided that he could use chaotic information temporarily during battle, but once the fight was over, he had to clean up the large-scale chaotic information that had been generated.

Lin Sheng tore away the large-scale chaotic information on his body bite by bite. He didn’t waste the flesh either, swallowing it right down.

It wasn’t the first time he’d eaten his own body anyway, so Lin Sheng didn’t feel any sense of revulsion.

Besides, once it entered his stomach, everything would become evolution points. His own body was just evolution points growing on himself.

Under Lin Sheng’s intentional control, the chaotic information indeed stopped helping him repair his body.

After he had mostly cleared the chaotic information, Lin Sheng turned his gaze back to the ”evolution points” he had just gathered.

He swallowed the small creatures he could gulp down one by one. While his evolution points grew slowly, new flesh also slowly grew on the right side of Lin Sheng’s body.

The process of regrowing flesh was very slow, but Lin Sheng was in no hurry.

He wasn’t in a rush to use evolution points to repair his body because he knew the Giant Fish would be enough for the repairs.

But the biggest problem now was that with his current size, he couldn’t swallow the Giant Fish.

Lin Sheng climbed onto the back of the Giant Fish with his intact left claw. He dragged his claws forcefully across its skin, but only left a few scratches.

Not only that, but Lin Sheng’s claws were also cut in several places by the spikes on the Giant Fish.

A deep-sea creature like the Giant Fish had endured immense water pressure since birth, so its skin density was much higher than that of normal creatures.

Even in death, the strength of its skin would not dissipate.

Lin Sheng couldn’t help but feel a bit stumped. He wanted to know how he could swallow this Giant Fish.

”I can tear my own mouth open and then use chaotic information to connect the torn wounds; that way, my mouth can open much wider.”

”As long as my mouth can fit the Giant Fish, I can swallow it.”

If this were a suggestion from a system, Lin Sheng would have started cursing it out directly.

But Omniscience was different; it was part of his subconscious. Even if he wanted to start cursing, he couldn’t very well curse his own subconscious.
